The night was a terrible mess. First Buffy had come home from work early to find her husband, Angel Conners, home in a drunkard fit of jealousy. Abusing and cursing their daughters, Glory 10 years old and Dawn 5 years old hid behind the very small pink floral loveseat. Well they had bruises covering most of their bodies. Crying after a few abusive moments of beating and screaming. After Angel practically dislocated Buffy's shoulder by dragging her to the laundry room raping her. 10 years earlier, senior year at Sunnydale High everything was nice and cheerful. Soon she was surrounded by the whole senior class except for Angel whom disappeared no sooner than they came.
As for Buffy she set in the dark corner staring out at nowhere until a guy dressed in geeky boytie suit of brown dark brown wavy locks and piercing blue eyes came up and held his hand out to her. Dressed in pure white like a angel Buffy fit her hand into his and they danced in silent never uttering a word but they both felt the moment. Until the dance ended and Angel appeared from behind the young man holding her cursing about she was his and no man was to touch what belonged to him. Later that night she lost her virginity to Angel and silently hated the fact. But soon weeks followed and she found she was pregnanted by the one guy she loved and hated all at the same time. Soon before she knew it she had become a mother and a wife.
The present day was more than terrifing now than 12 years ago. Never had she not thought after all she gave him he could be so mean. Now passed out on the bed upstairs she knew it was not getting better. But what to do she had no home except for the small 3 bedroom apartment she lived in now with this monster of a man. He blamed her for everything that could or would or did even didn't go wrong she suspected more than drinking caused this. Now since Glory and Dawn his daughters had got older he now turned on them they were more so afraid always hiding from him. Although she had a full time job at the Double Meat Palace a local teen hotspot as manager. She could not afford a place, her mom was passed on almost 6 years from a tumor so what to do. But unfortunately she knew he would wake up and be in a worse mood when he did. So she did the only thing she could. She packed up little belongings of hers and the girls and left and drove away from Sunnydale.


As she drove she knew it would be hard to explain the situation to her friend. But what choice did she have it was time to come clean to her friend Willow Rosenburg in a nearby town of Clayton, CA. She and Willow and Willows step brother Alexander Harris was best friends all during high school and Xander did give her a job as the manager their at the Double Meat Palace when she was needing a job with no work experience of the restarant or fast food place he hired her for good faith. Angel had worked for almost 4 years but soon found himself unemployed from the Shepard Fish Market, after drinking on the job. he was fired but lied for months saying he had quit for better reasons such as going back to school which was a lie. Then when Buffy found out about the lies he had deliberately killed the puppy Xander had gave to Glory and Dawn in a jealous rage. As he suggested to them all three it was a gift for Buffy's affair in which was a lie to. She had been faithful to this monster of a man for so long plus Xander was engaged to his accountant Anya Jenkins another close friend. But never so close to tell the truth to any of her friends. She seemed to withdraw and avoid when people approached the subject of her marriage.
As she pulled into the paved driveway of Willow's old colonel style homeplace she quickly dreeded her decision but new it was for the best. Buffy got out and walked up to the newly remodeled homeplace. it was classic red brick colonel built style homeplace. First, Buffy talked to Willow in private on the front stoop of the house in the early dawn hours of the morning. Willow was a nurse at the Clayton County Health Clinic along with her life partner Tara MaClay. Both women was aware of the situation as to Buffy always being tired and unavailable to chat on the phone so when they ushered and invited Buffy and the girls to move into their homeplace it was for the best for all.
As for Angel he was coming to more angry than before. Only to find no one to blame his unemployment and unfortunate dirty little secret affairs on. Buffy was gone with the girls his girls he vowed when he found Buffy she would pay dearly. He stumbled around like a fish out of water until he was fully capable of his functions. Then he took the anger he felt inside out on the furniture. Breaking and cursing his beloved wife and wondering where she had took his daughters.
Meanwhile Buffy got the girls settled into the hawaiian covered futon. A very tropical and refreshing study all bright and cheerful well it would be nice for the girls. Buffy finally disappeared in the quietness of the private bathroom of Willow and Tara's room. Climbing deep into the bubble bath she had drew she finally could relax somewhat from her terrifing evening the night before.
