Do you snore?
Settling Oz in the basement on one of the extra cots, Buffy tells Willow, “I’ll get something for you to wear to bed, Wills.” but her friend barely nods in acknowledgement as her concern for her boyfriend supersedes everything else.
Sighing quietly, the blonde slayer makes her way back up stairs passing Giles who tells her, “He will be all right Buffy. They are minor wounds…just a lot of them is all.” and she nods wearily saying with a sad smile, “Thanks Giles.”
Back in the living room Joyce hands Tara a stack of blankets saying, “With everyone staying here tonight I thought you could share Faith’s room, Tara. Is that all right with the two of you?” and receives a quiet nod from the blonde witch as Faith says, “Yeah, Mrs. S, that’s cool…as long as T-Bear don’t snore none.”
Blushing at the dark slayer’s teasing, Tara mumbles, “Don’t snore, but won’t guarantee what else I might get up to in my sleep.” Not thinking of Faith’s slayer hearing until she hears a snort of amusement and gasps at the brunette wiggling her eyebrows at her suggestively Tara blushes even a darker red at being heard.
Turning quickly to make her way upstairs, Tara shakes her head knowing Faith would never be attracted to her, but it seems she can’t help the feelings she herself has already developed for the dark slayer. Sighing in frustration at the prospect of sharing the same room with Faith, the blonde witch thinks, “Bad enough I fantasize about her nearly every night but now I’m stuck in a room with her where she’s sure to catch on to my feelings for her, especially since I’ve been told I talk in my sleep.”
Finishing up in the bathroom Tara shakes her head once more as she steels herself for the rough night ahead hoping beyond hope that Faith will fall asleep quickly and not want to stay up to chat. Opening the door to step out into the hall Tara finds herself blushing hotly at Faith standing, leaning against the wall with a trademark smirk on her face saying, “Ya’ know T, we’re gonna have ta discuss what else you get up to in your sleep, since you mentioned it and all.”
Hiding her face behind her hands Tara mutters, “Oh, goddess!” even as Faith chuckles wickedly before moving past her into the bathroom. Feeling Faith’s heat brush by her Tara has to stifle a gasp as it sends a tingle of desire through her body and she quickly heads to the bedroom she’ll be sharing with the dark slayer tonight.
Jumping into the shower to wash off the filth of the evening’s events Faith hums quietly in pleasure as the hot water cascades over her skin. Quickly washing her hair the dark slayer thinks about the blonde waiting in her bedroom and wonders not for the first time if Tara could ever see her as relationship material.
Granted, Faith knew that when she first came to Sunnydale she was not the kind of girl anyone could take home to momma but slowly, with the help of Buffy and Joyce she had not only found a home but a family and she had begun to change how she behaved when she was attracted to someone. Of course, she still had a very active libido and would search out one-nighters in an effort to scratch that itch, especially on nights when patrol was really busy, but it wasn’t the same as it had been.
Turning off the water and drying herself roughly with a towel Faith sighs softly hoping that if Tara was even remotely interested in her that she could find out tonight as she planned on talking to the shy woman using the question of what Tara might get up to in her sleep as an opening. Smiling in anticipation the dark slayer exits the bathroom and makes her way down the hall into her room.
