Tears of the Soul

They couldn´t believe it. For ten years now they were searching for Xander
in the whole world. They had tried it in every place and town they thought
he could have been but they didn´t even get the slightest clue of where he
could have gone.
No matter where they looked or what people they asked, they were without success.

And today of all days when they were just here for some business deal, the unthinkable happened and Xander fell right into their laps.


After all this time they had found him again. Their hearts were weeping for joy.


They knew that they had to do something now and that they had to do it fast.
Therefore Spike and Angel decided to quiz the barkeeper about Xander, and quickly
made their way toward the bar.

"What drinks can I get you ?", the barkeeper asked friendly.

" We don´t want to order some drinks. We just thought that you could help us."

"And with what exactly do you thought I could help you with?"

"We want to know where the dancer from the stage with the mask is gone
and where we can meet him."

"Oh, you mean Alex. He will probably be in one of the backrooms."

"Could you bring us there then?"

"I´m sorry but I can´t do that. You see, the backrooms are only for exclusive members.
The dancers are performing there private shows. You would have to pay a lot of money
to go there and to see the show.
I don´t mean to be rude but it is really not cheap and you probably don´t have that much with you. And especially for Alex show you would have to pay a lot, he is our best dancer and on that account the most expensive one, too.
Maybe you could....", but before he could finish his sentence Spike had put a good amount of money, in cash, on the counter.
The barkeeper looked a bit shocked at that.


"Oh I think we have the required money. So would you lead us to the backroom now,
or is there anything else we need to do?", an annoyed Spike asked, with a scowl.
He was getting more and more impatient on seeing Xander again.


The barkeeper was getting a bit nervous because of the two vampires and began
leading without further discussion Angel and Spike through the building of the bar.


A few minutes later he stopped and gestured to the door of one of the backrooms.

"There you go, this room here is where Alex is performing tonight. You don´t have to knock, you can just go in. Alex is already informed that two customers are comiong. Just tell him what you want him to do and enjoy the night. And believe me you will enjoy it very much." With that said a smirking barkeeper walked away.


Exited and a bit nervous Spike put his hand on the doorknob and slowly pushed.
The door opened and after they stepped through it, Angel closed it firmly behind them.

When they looked around the chamber they noticed a lot of fluffy looking pillows,
a big red couch and of course a pole. The light was dimmed and stirring music played softly.


Then they noticed a figure in a corner of the room, where a little bar was standing. The figure was pouring two drinks of champagne, which were obviously intended for them.

When he was finished, he took the two glasses in his hands and turned himself around and sofly asked with a sexy voice: "So, what can I do for you?"


In the moment he turned around and saw who exactly the two customers were, who had paid so much money for seeing a private dance show from him, the world seemed to be crashing down on him.
Breaking of glass could be heard in the chamber, as Xander let out a of pure shock,
the champagne glasses fall to the ground.

Xander thought that his eyes were playing him a trick because there was no way in hell that these two vampires, his mates, no wait, his former mates, were beeing in the same room with him and only standing a few feet away from him.

This couln´t be possible. It couldn´t be true, it had to be an ilusion.


Xander tried to do or say something but all that came out of his mouth was:
"Oh my god...!", before everything aroung him went black and he fainted.
