A/N: It's short i know but this thing is just as is and nothing is planned, well a bit is, anyways as you can tell no beta is used so excuse poor grammer and mispellings.... ... On with the reading!!!!!

Stepping closer he dared not touch no matter how much his body screamed for it.
His eyes lazily skimmed over what muscle was on the arms of the man who had held him close just mere years ago that felt like yesterday.
The pale skin was flawless, not a scar in sight, that would change sadly.
Reaching into his pocket, Angel held the medallion up so it twirled before his eyes. The images of a poised cobra on one side and a poised wolf ready to strike.
The images seemed to come alive with each turn and for a moment Angel was mesmerized, that is until he heard a mumble from the bed. His eyes turned to Xander who rolled over, hand resting on navel.
It was a sight he had missed, except for the tiny fact that this face was younger, more innocent, but Angel knew looks could be decieving.
With an un needed sigh, he reached for the back pack. Judging it's weight he knew it was heavy not not too heavy to way the teen down, much.
Allowing himself a moment of simply looking and remembering he never felt more justified for what he was about to do. All he knew was that if anything did chamge, one thing would remain constant. He and X would be together and hopefully this time, forever.
Xander was dreaming, well it wasn't what he had wanted but he was content with being on a beach, making a sandcastle, more like a fortress actually.
As he was putting the finishing touches he was abruptly awoken when something heavy knocked the wind out of him, litteraly. Sitting up, straining for breath, he was barely coherent enough to notice something was thrown at him and his still sleeping mind acted on instinct, more like stupidity actually.
Catching it he felt a burning on his hand right after something bit him. Without a chance to scream from the pain that swept through his entire body he was thrown into blackness, pissed as hell.

A/N: Interesting so far? yes? no? maybe so? I know, i know, you want to get with the lovin but - i'm gonna have to dissapoint you folks for the time being. The lovin doesn't come for quite a bit but i do promice you it would be worth the wait and hopefully you'll stick with it.
