Tears of the Soul

"The twins names are Keanu and Sharee." Xander informed them.


"Keanu and Sharee. That are wonderful names. How do you think they will react to the news of us being here now? How do you want to tell them that?" A nervous Spike wanted to know.


"I don´t know yet. I will just think of something when I see them." Xander answered easy.


"I have to ask you another question. The twins are probably not entirely human now are they?" Spike querried.


"No, they are not entirely human. But they are also not entirely vampire.
One half of them is human and the other half is demon.
They are pretty strong. If they weren´t I wouldn´t have survived the pregnancy.
Their hearing and their other senses are as good as yours, the same goes for their speed. And although they are still pretty young, are they as strong as I am and when they are grown up in some years they will probably be even more powerful then the two of you are together. I guess that they are so strong because they have all the power and energy from the three of us combined together in one." Xander replied.


"Wow, that sounds amazing. Do you think that they will be happy to see us?
I mean I don´t know what opinion they have about us. Have you told them what happened back then?" Angel questioned.


"I didn´t need to tell them what happened on that night.
That´s where my pregnancy is different from a normal human pregnancy. When they were born they remembered everything that happened during the pregnancy.
So I didn´t need to explain to them why their fathers weren´t there, they already knew the reason for it. I have often told them about you.
But before you even ask I have never talked bad about you. I have told them only about our good times. So you don´t have to worry, I´m sure that they will be very happy to see you.
I really have to go now or I will be late. You two just make yourselves comfortable and wait for us to get back." Xander said and gave both vampires a swift kiss on the lips before leaving the apartment.

"Xander is already gone for three hours. Do you think that there maybe went something wrong?" Angel asked.


Before Spike could answer, they heard how a key was slid into the doorlock and the door opened and three figures stepped into the room. Ere either one of them could say anything, they both found themselves with an armful of child.


Angel and Spike had tears of happiness streaming down their faces but they couldn´t care less. They were just too happy.
This had to be as close to heaven as they would ever get.

And in that moment as Xander looked at his reunited family, he believed for the first time in many years that everything was going to be alright.

In the sequel will be a lot more action, drama and sex and it will be longer than this story.
