Tears of the Soul

"Xander we are sorry. We were just so happy about us being a family and all.
It wasn´t too fast was it? God I hope it was okay for us to kiss you?" Angel asked concerned.


"It was definetly okay. It was more than okay for you two to kiss me."
Xander reassured the two vampires.


"So, I assume that it is okay for us to kiss you whenever we want?" Spike questioned with a smirk on his face.


"Yes, it is okay for you to kiss me whenever and also as often as you want.
In fact I have to say that it is a condition you will have to fulfill, if you want to be with me." Xander flirtet.


"Now baby, that is a condition we will only be too happy to oblige."
Spike then reached a hand around the back of Xanders neck and started to kiss him again. Xanders mouth fell open and Spike took it as permission to explore it.
He was running his tongue over Xanders and played with it.
Xander only moaned and deepened the kiss while reaching his hands up and cradling Angels head in them, running his fingers through his hair.
Angel then also began moving his mouth to Xanders to kiss him.
The three of them were drowning in the others mouth, unable to get enough, when suddenly the phone rang.


"I have to get on the phone." Xander said while breaking the kiss.


"Come on baby. Let it ring. If it is important then they will call again."


"If it is important then I should be going on the phone the frist time it rings and not wait if it is ringing again." Xander declared before getting up and going over to the phone table.


"Hello", Xander said after picking up the phone.

"They will be already there in an hour?"

"Okay, I will be on my way shortly"

"Thanks for calling and telling me. Bye." Xander said before he hung up and turned around to face Spike and Angel.

"Sorry guys. But we will have to go on with the kissing later. I have to go now."


"Where do you have to go and who was that on the phone?" A disappointed Angel wanted to know.


"That on the phone was Mrs. Miller. She is the class teacher from the twins."
Xander informed them.


"The class teacher from our twins. Why did she call you?" A curious Angel queried.


"She called me because the twins were for a week on class trip.
Normally they weren´t expected back until noon, but now they will be here
already in an hour.
So I will make myself on the way now to go and pick them up." Xander replied and went to go to the door when he was stopped by Spikes voice.


"They were on a class trip, that sounds nice. We will only have to put on our jackets and then we will accompany you."


"Spike, Angel, don´t get me wrong but I will be picking the twins up alone.
If you want you can stay here of course and wait for us till we get back."
Xander offered with a nervous smile.


"Why should we wait here? Why can´t we just come with you and pick them up together?"
Angel demanded an answer.


"You can´t come with me to pick them up because I think that it will be for the best if I first talk alone to them about everything that happened today.
I will have to explain to them that their fathers will from now on be a part of their life and that there are a few things which are about to change."
Xander explained to them and hoped that the discussion was finished. But he knew that it wasn´t when he heard Spike speaking to him.


"Yeah, I forgot that. I guess you are right if you first talk alone to them.
But before you go maybe you could tell us something about them?"


"Of course, I will gladly do so."
Xander then grabbed into his trousers and took out his wallet, from the wallet he then took out a little photo and showed it to Angel and Sipke.


"Here, that is a photo from me and the twins."

On the photo could be seen, a little boy with curly brown hair who was wearing blue bathing trunks and a little girl with long brown hair in a pink bathing dress.
They both had brown eyes.
And between them was standing Xander.
All of them had wet hair. Behind them was a little lake.


"Oh my god. A girl and a boy. You didn´t tell us that. They both look so much like you. Especially with these deep chocolate brown eyes." Spike said amazed.


"They look so beautiful, just like their mother. How old are they on that picture?"
An interested Angel asked.


"That photo is from their 8th birthday. It was such a lovely day and the sun was shining, and it was so warm that it wasn´t even a bit cold in the water of the lake.
It was perfect for swimming." Xander recalled the memory.


"I can´t believe it that they are so big already.
There is one thing we totally forgot to ask you. What are their names?"
Spike requested in a soft tone.
