SPOILERS: Seasons 2 & 3; after that it's A/U Willow and Xander never kissed
SUMMARY: Angelus decides to have fun with one of the Scoobies
A/N Prologue is from Seasons 2.... Becoming Human 2 and Season 3 Revelations with some MINOR changes, after that it is strictly A/U. However, most of Angel the Series did happen....with some minor changes. Cordelia Chase NEVER became a higher being, Lindsay never left Wolfram and Hart.

PROLOGUE

Angel and crew stumbled into the Hyperion laughing. They had returned triumphant with Lorne in tow from the Las Vegas future stealer/dealer.
They stoppbrupbruptly, their laughter cutoff at the sight of a white clad, dark hair figure standing in the middle of the lobby, back turned to them.
Slowly the figure turned......
"Xander," Cordy gasped in astonishment beside Angel.
Xander gave her his best smile, "You were maybe expecting someone taller?"
"Xander Harris," she screamed, pushing past Angel and rushing to hug her former boyfriend; she hadn't seen him in five long years. She punched him in the shoulder and pulled him into a tight hug, ignoring his 'Ow'. Glad to see him, to know he was alive!
"That's for worrying me half to death," she said, pulling back to glare at him evilly. "You don't call, you don't write....what the hell, your fingers broke or something."
"Man, you don't know how much I miss that t mot mouth of yours, NOT!" They grinned at each other before hugging again.
Xander met Angel's eyes over her shoulder....memories, the past flashing between them.
