I laughed my ass off at the powdered wig debacle, I must tell you. It was like something out of My Cousin Vinny, only funnier. And impressive the way Spike is still a sympathetic character despite his boozing and womanizing; you have a talent for keeping characters reachable, sluggie. I feel sorry for him, but not in the aww-look-at-the-sad-puppy way. And I love you introducing Tara as something of a confidante. She always struck me as the kind of person who saw much more than she let on, but would be a great listener. Now I'm mad curious as to the details of his relationship with Buffy, so write on, woman! :-)

Kar: LOL.. I read the SR review first and I was like..."purple bra? HUH?" Then it clicked and I came here and read the first part about the red undies..LMAO...you naughty girl. Yeah, Spike's a naughty boy in this one too. Buffy will need to discipline him and show hie ere error of his ways.
Black Dahlia: LOL..you are so correct. I watched part of My Cousin Vinny the other day and when I started writing this chapter, that scene popped in my head and I had to go with it...just the thought of utterly British Spike professing to be honoring the American founding fathers had me rolling....but I thought the going down joke between him and Xander was even more funny. I'm loving playing these two off as enemies antagonizing each other and more like the show seeing as I've had them play best buddies in most of my other fics so far...I had the same feelings about Tara as well.

I really like the plot and how this story has been written so far. Lord knows we need more Spuffy goodness in our livex:-) Can't wait for the next chapter.
