Excellent angsty chapter . PSpikSpike , poor Riley..; Everybody is in much trouble and pain .. I have absolutely no idea what could happen to make things a little better . Totally hooked, I am , that's for sure !

Well they got out of some hot water for the moment. Heres that extreme angst I knew would be approaching :-) Its all very delicious though! I can't wait to see how they work this out. I don't know if I should feel sorry for Spike or Riley. Something tells me it should be Riley- Yet in the end my loyalties lie with Spike:-)

Don't you just feel so damn sorry for him?
The torture that you're putting him through is great, none of us like to put our guy - and he IS our guy- through such torture, but you do it for the sake of a wonderful storyline.

Well , I wonder how Buffy and Spike will handle this encounter ! But perhaps it is better that all the things come clean ( as much as it possible , hum... Your story has a title that I understand completely , now!)

Seriously, great chapter. I was wondering if Spike was taking the whole thing a little lightly, and then Joyce arrived on the scene. *GULP* Talk about shoes I don't want to be in! BTW, the exchanging of presents was so wonderfully sweet and tender. Really liked how you wrote that :-).
