I am absolutely enjoying this story. Please do not stop writing. I guess I am one of the few that gets the whole picture. I love the fact that Spike has been repentant during the previous chapters regretting that he has "mucked" things up with Buffy and finally getting the reason why - both the words and bottle incident. I sat and read anticipating what he did that was so bad that Buffy did not want anything more to do with him. The "bottle incident" was an accident no matter how it was spurred on. I did feel that the words Spike used were harsh, but I figure when an individual puts him/herself out there (using the 3 words), and receives no response I guess he/she needs to find a way to save face. I love the fact that you made Buffy more thoughtful in why Spike started to act more of a jerk to her than before -- even if she did nolly lly admit to her friends :), and admit her own insecurities about possibly being in love with Spike. Anya and Cordy could have been more sympathetic, but that would have detracted from the shoot from the hip characters they represented on the show. I am looking forward to the talk and makesesssession in the next chapter. Will it also be the final chapter to the story? Just curious as really don't want story to end. Maybe you could go with a prequel (Spike/Burelarelationship pre-date. Were they class rivals - the types who took up entire class time disagreeing with each other which could lead to fantasies about each other? Did Spike ask Buffy out a lot or just in the coffee house scene in Chapter 1?) or a sequel (Does the Spike/Buffy relationship last? Is there a relationship if so what type boyfriend/girlfriend; engaged, married?)

Ooh poor Buffy - that would be sooo embarassing. Poor Spike too, bless him he just did it all wrong. I'm glad Buffy admitted she missed him and maybe loved him. As for the title of the next chapter - making up certainly is the best part of fighting and I can't wait to see them making up hehe:D

Oooh, he better make this apology good. I know what happened wasn't what he intended, but I had a boyfriend freak out on me and do some horribly demeaning similar things (none of which, thank god, put me in the hospital), and the humiliation is beyond belief, which Buffy's friends seemed to ignore. All that seemed to matter to them was that Spike told her he loved her. Love is all well and good, but it doesn't justify what he said or did. I'm not saying Buffy shouldn't love him, but damn, they really have no idea of the pain and humiliation (or feeling of violation), both personally and publicly, that Buffy experienced. Obviously I have personal issues wrapped in here, but it's just not all as simple as an 'I love you' can fix. *gets off soapbox*

OMG!!!! That was freakin hilarious. I love this story, is it just a pwp, or is there going to be a plot?

Gah!!!!! Too feckin hot for words!!!! I need new underwear after that and never mind cold showers I need to go swim for at least half an hour in the North Sea (VERY VERY COLD!!). Am on the edge of my seat to find out what went wrong. More soon please :D.........now wheres my bathing suit *wanders away looking for a towel*

Aww, now I'm wondering how he fucked everything up, cause it seems Buffy is the one that messed everything up. This is really interesting.
