Please say it worked.... All this angst is driving me nutty (they're on, they're off, they're on, they're off....). ;) Love the story BTW.

Gahhh! I'm going to go... uh... take a bath and hope that I get interrupted...
Seriously, I loved this chapter. The sex was hot, and there was a nice easy manner in their conversation, joking around with each other. Poor William feelinng guilty for the spanking, though. Please update soon; I stumbled across it here and tore through the first six chapters in one sitting. :-)

Do us all a favour and be quick with the update? I've just read the whole 8 chapters, and seriously i can't wait.

Buffy and Spike are more fun when they're unconvensional.

I'm in the midst of setting up a website, and i'd love to have this one in my AU section.

What do you think?

You may not be happy with the way chapter 7 came out, but I think it was perfect. It was kind of the inevitable point to which Buffy and Spike had brought themselves and each other. Between Spike trying to be what he wasn't, and Buffy acting out to try to cope, there was gonna be combustion sooner or later, and this just feels believable. Great job, especially considering I'm not a real big fan of angst.
