The Prophecy
Disclaimer: I own nothing. Joss is god of the Buffyverse. I just borrowed it for a bit.
I wrote this awhile ago, then my muse ran away and I couldn’t get going on it. So I revamped it and am posting it again.
Time line - This story starts in season 5, there are some quotes from ep’s then it goes AU. Dawn is very powerful, Enough to beat Glory, She just needs to learn how to use her power. Also Spuffyness eventually.
Chapter 1
The Prophecy
“And she shall be made flesh though she shouldn’t, and couldn’t possibly walk in this world. The protection of two warriors one of light one of darkness will allow her to be. The warrior of light loves her, she is her sister. She was made flesh and blood of the warrior’s flesh. The warrior of darkness defies his nature to protect her, for he loves her as well. He also does it for his love, his warrior of light that has pulled him out of his darkness. They both love this child though she has out lived them both. She is older than dirt, older than sun, moon and stars she is all, she is they key to the universes. The key to destruction or peace. Not both only one. The choices made throughout her journey must be correct if it shall come to pass, as it should. The lives will feel real - She will be an important part of the inner fold she will help to rule and will dominate the fight. Remember she is a scared child but do not let that stop what must be done.”
“I know Giles I have read the stupid prophecy myself, I just wanna know what it means?” Buffy rolled her eyes at her watcher “Like who is She? And whatever, I know we’ll figure it out, I just wish I already knew.”
“Buffy these prophecy’s were written a long time ago and they may be cryptic with no discernable meaning-“
“I know I know I… it’s just that the last prophecy said I was gonna die and I did, if it wasn’t for Xander… and anyway how do we for for sure it’s a prophecy about me? I don’t have any siblings at all, the only person close to me this could describe is Willow and she’s so naive there is no way she could possibly be older than dirt”
“Buffy I cannot understand how you can be so dense” Giles was exasperated with his slayer again. He started to clean his glasses. Buffy had been slacking on her training since Adam had been destroyed
Well at least most vampires are terrified of her now they go running when she’s around, so her patrols are getting easier. But she should still train. She still has a lot to learn.

“Mom I’m going to a movie with Willow” Buffy yelled as she entered her room.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing in here?”
“Uh….I was looking for a pencil?” Dawn tried to sound innocent
“Buffy if you are going out take your sister with you, I have to go to the gallery”
“MOM, that is so not fair I had this planned with Willow for a while now” Buffy pouted “Plus she’s been sneaking around in my room. I told her not to come in here.”
“Dawn you know better than to go into your sisters room, and Buffy take your sister, you know Willow loves her to death.” Joyce sighed rubbing her temples. She was tired and she was getting a headache
Damn it again? I just got rid of one. Maybe it is time to see that doctor.

Yeah I know little miss nobody. Just her dumb little sister. Boy is she in for a surprise. Mom lets Buffy get away with everything cuz she’s saving the world, well I could save the world if someone handed me superpowers. No one understands what it’s like to be me. No one has a sister that is the slayer.

“Yes Doctor, I understand … yes I will go home and pack and be back before you even miss me. How long should I tell my girls I will be gone?”
