Episode 1.1 Only The Good Die Young

Foreword

A month had passed since the death of Cordelia Chase. Nothing appeared to have changed along the bustle of the busy halls of Wolfram & Hart as everything had begun to resume to normal; sacrifices, killing demons, building codes, and court dates. Everyone on Team Angel had gone back to carrying our their normal routine without pause though there was still a heaviness that weight upon them all... especially Angel.



"Don't make it hard, Angel. I'm just on a different road... and this is my off-ramp. The Powers That Be owed me one, and I didn't waste it. I got my guy back on track."



Tomes towered the office, parchments of resurrection spells lined the desk and the floors, the shades had even been drawn down tight. One last vision had been given, a false one. It guaranteed a life would be restored though the cost was never in the bargain.



"We take what we can get, champ, and we do our best with it. I'll be seeing you."



Those words echoed over and over.



One door opens and another closes. Another place in time is about to happen and another villain is about to make things difficult.
