Summary: What if the Xander and Angel from the day that was taken away, had a daughter? What if she found her way to them in the 'verse where it WAS taken away? How would the Scoobies and Fang-Gang handle Katie Reilly?
Pairing: Katie/Groo, Angel/Xander.

Prologue:
Katie leaned on the brick wall of the building that she, Connor, Groo and the other Scrappies were squatting in. The world went to hell in a hand basket after her Papa had brought Wolfram and Hart down, the sumbitches striking back at them by bringing the world's ignorance of demons and magic down around their ears. She looked across the room at where Groo sat back against the other wall.
Groo was hardened, different from the sweet and naive young man that her Papa had first met. His hair had grown back, which her Papa had been thankful for. The Groo that Katie knew now was still sweet, but not as naive. Her Papa said that he must have matured at some point. Aunt Cordy snarled back that having your entire world killed and get booted from that world by the bastards that Papa had THOUGHT he brought down would do that too you. Groo had changed, he had to adapt to 'Earth', just like Uncle Lorne had. Resting on Groo's chest was Aunt Faith's baby girl, Abby. Abby's father, Robin, had left Faith, saying that Abby wasn't his. Faith laughed and said that 'damn straight she isn't'. As it turned out, Abby was Uncle Charlie's, Abby having been conceived when Faith had stayed with the Fang Gang during her and Robin's break up that year. Abby had latched on to Groo as soon as she was born. And that sweet little girl had the half demon wrapped around her pinkie.
Katie's brother Connor sat with Aunt Dawn's twins: Joy and Janna, Uncle Andrew's son Johnny, Aunt Illyria and Uncle Wesley's son Mordred, Connor's own son Liam and daughter Willa, Aunt Buffy's daughter Kendra, and Aunt Willow's kids: Tara, Daniel, Jordan, and Jenny.
If you want to go by age, Connor was the eldest at 35, then Katie at 19, Johnny at 15, Joy and Janna at 14, Mordred looked 20 but was really 12, Liam was 11, Willa was 10, Kendra was 8, Tara was 7, Daniel was 6, Jordan was 5 and Jenny was 3. There was also a couple of Halfrek's spawn, who gravitated toward the Scoobies just before Katie was born. They are Alex, Will, and Danya. Alex was named after Daddy and Will was named after Uncle Spike. Danya was the eldest at a couple hundred years old in human years, but she was aged to about 16. Alex and Will were half human and actually were 19 years old. And even though Danya was older than them, they still called her their little sister.
Groo held Abby to his chest and sat up. Danya noticed and took the sleeping Slayer from him. Groo nodded his thanks to her and got up, pushing off from the wall and walking over to Katie.
"You were brooding again," He pointed out, pulling her into his arms, resting his chin on her head.
Katie turned and faced him, burying her face into his chest.
