Summary: Angel plans a special surprise for everyone.
Angel’s Christmas Surprise
Angel stepped back and looked at the room with a critical eye. He wanted everything to be perfect. It had been six months since Willow and Xander showed up with a beaten and bloody Spike. It seemed that Buffy decided to take her anger out on him. Because of the chip in his head, Spike couldn’t defend himself. When Angel asked why Xander blushed and turned away. It seemed that he and Spike was a couple. Soon after that revelation Angel and Willow finally gave in to their own feelings about each other.
Angel decided to surprise everyone this year by decorating for the holidays. The tree was at least eight feet tall and adorned with red, green, silver and gold ornaments. Four of the ornaments had their names written on them. Spike’s was red with gold lettering, Xander’s was gold with red lettering; Willow’s was silver with green lettering; and Angel’s was green with silver lettering. The tree was covered in fairy lights and gold garland. On top of the tree was a silver star.
The room was decked out in greenery and a wreath hung over the fireplace. In the fireplace burned a Yule Log; giving the feeling of warmth to the room. Hanging from the mantle were stockings which also bore the names of the four of them. Atop the mantel itself was a menorah. Angel knew that Willow would love the thought of celebrating Chanukah. He then looked at the table, on which sat a bowl of spiced mull, cookies and other holiday treats. Under the tree; he had placed several gifts for Willow, Spike and Xander. He hoped the party would be perfect. As a finishing touch he put mistletoe over the door to the living room. He also turned on some Christmas music. As he was finishing up he heard them in the lobby.
When Spike, Xander and Willow entered the hotel they heard the soft sounds of Christmas music. They entered the living room and their mouths dropped open and their eyes got big. They could not believe what they where seeing. Everywhere they looked, there were Christmas decorations. They saw the tree and noticed how beautiful it was. Angel stood there with a bright smile on his face. As Angel walked over to them he pulled Willow into his arms and said, “Happy Holidays.” He then turned to Spike and Xander and said, “Happy Holidays you two.” Glancing above their heads he smiled and gave Willow a kiss. Seeing this Spike looked up, saw the mistletoe himself and grabbed Xander “Happy Holidays whelp.” Then he kissed him.
