X-Over Men to expect: (by character): Camulus, Gaheris and Telemachus Rhade, Barin, Evil & Good Wyatt, Warren Peace, Caleb Danvers, Hephaestien, Dom, Shane, Xander, Sean, Riddick, Ronon Dex, Aragorn, Eomer, Legolas, Haldir, Rumil, Orophin, Celeborn, Elrond, Elrohir, Elladan, Glorfindel, Erestor, Harry, Draco, Severus, Lucius, Sirius, Remus, Gambit, Wolverine, Kurt, Jack Harkness, John Hart, Ianto Jones, Anakin, Luke, Mal, Jayne, Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon...etc.

I know it seems like a romantic kind of thing, but the only pairing Buffy will have is Ani and the Wyatts.

Jack O'Neill is Buffy's Uncle and sent Camulus to her to keep the System Lord 'out of trouble' when he was really hoping that she'd slay him. Camulus stays with her because Buffy reminds him of his host's little sister that was killed by the one who implanted Camulus in his current host.

Gaheris and Telemachus are there as a result of Andrew, magic portals, and the entire collection of Andromeda on dvd. Barin is pretty much the same way, except it's Dawn and an episode she taped when it premiered.

Baby Wyatt had accidentally brought his future self from two different timelines to the present and Piper sent them to Buffy to protect. Evil Wyatt was nicknamed Mattie. Piper had to do up some papers that made Evil Wyatt the identical twin of Good Wyatt.

Warren and Caleb are twins that were separated at birth. They are also Faith's baby brothers.

Hephaestien was in a magical coma to preserve him from the poison that was supposed to have killed him in the movie. He will be paired with Faith.

Dominic Toretto, Shane Wolf, Sean Vetter, and Xander Cage are Quads, and Xander's uncles. Dom is paired Brian. Shane, Sean, and Cage are still pending in the pairing department. How Riddick got there is still a mystery to me.

Ronon got here round about the same way that Gaheris, Telemachus, and Barin did. He will be paired with Dawn, who will be aged to her late teens.

The LoTR crew got there through magical means. Magical on their end, not the Scoobies.

The HP crew came on faith of a vision of Harry's. Lucius is paired with Severus and Remus with Sirius.

Gambit, Wolverine, and Kurt came on Buffy's request. It was in Scott's will that the X-Men crew assist Buffy should she ever call on them.

John is Spike's Shansu in another timeline and in paired with Jack and Ianto. Ianto is Giles' nephew. Jack is Xander's real dad.

Ani, Qui-Gon, and Obi-Wan appeared to Buffy a little after their deaths. Ani for atonement, more than anything. Ani is paired with Buffy and the Wyatts.

Mal and Jayne arrived by time travel. Mal is descended from Dawn and Jayne from Remus' son Teddy with Tonks.

"Jack, John, get Warren down there!" a voice yelled, "he'd do much better than those girls! Kurt, Wyatt, Mattie, get the injured and dead out to the city limits! Chris is waiting with Mel to heal the injured!"
Buffy turned to see a group of men that she thought long gone weaving themselves into the battle.

"Aunt Lizzie," a man in a brown duster nodded, giving a Turok-han a few shots to the head before it fell over the edge, dusting in mid-fall.
Buffy smiled brightly and swung the scythe, decapitating one that tried to sneak up on the man. Before she could respond, the men cleared a path, a tall long haired teen and his twin walking side by side to the edge.

"Mal, cover the boys!" Buffy called to him over the roar of the fight.
Mal Reynolds nodded to Buffy and made his way to the twins. Warren Peace and Caleb Danvers looked out at the amassed army of cave vamps, then turned and smirked at each other. Caleb's eyes went black and fire flared up Warren's arms. Spike, Mal, and the Mini-Slays that were still on their feet covered the two while they threw sniper shots at approaching uber vamps. Outside the cavern, four identical men covered Xander. Two had some kind of blades on their arms and the other two looked like they stepped out of some period piece. The two with the blades moved in perfect harmony in Xander's blind spot while the other two covered Xander's back.

"Telemachus, behind you!" called a deep, eerie voice.
The shaggier looking of the two with blades dropped to the floor while the clean cut one buried the blades of one arm into the stomach of a Bringer.

"Thanks, Cam!" Telemachus called back to the man in tan armor, swinging a broad sword like he was born to it.
Camulus took head after head of the Bringers, not letting them within three feet of Xander, from his end at least. His partner downed whoever seemed to get past him. Over by Anya and Andrew, Gambit and Wolverine covered the duos backs, calling good natured insults and name calling back and forth between them. Covering Dawn's back was Ronon Dex, while four identical men covered the door to the principals office, giving Willow the time she needed to activate the Potentials.
Hephaestien and Riddick covered Faith, while the Elves cut a swath through the Bringers with a smile on their faces. Well, on the faces of three elves in particular: Elladan, Elrohir, and Glorfindel. Anakin cut his way through the Bringers to reach Buffy while Wyatt only orbed. Down in the cavern, Warren and Caleb covered Buffy while she dueled with the First, Wyatt orbing in next to them. Wyatt looked Matty in the eye, Anakin stepped into their peripheral vision. The three men nodded and stepped into the circle that was made around Buffy and the first.

"Do you honestly think..." Wyatt started, his hand crackling with energy.
"That we would let you..." Matty picked up, an energy ball in hand.
"Get away with this," Anakin finished, Sith lightening dancing between his fingertips.
Kurt popped in, grabbed Buffy, and popped out before the Slayer could protest. The Potentials had long since been activated and were winning, no more of their numbers being cut down since. Wyatt and Anakin hit the first with the energy/lightning, holding the screaming being in place. Then Matty hit it with the energy ball, making the First explode into a burst of energy that sent Anakin flying over the edge of the cliff and into the depths of the cavern. Or at least he would have landed into the cavern if Kurt hadn't have popped up and caught him before he was lunch. Kurt popped out of the cavern and to the city limits where Whitelighters abound where orbing people out of the school. Before Anakin could say thank you, he had an arm full of blonde slayer.

"Ani!" Buffy said happily.
The two were blissfully unaware of their Scoobie audience. Ani could feel Wyatt and Matty approaching and relaxed much more. Buffy was very happy to see her men, but when she had been told that Anakin had fallen over the edge of the cavern, she prepared for the worst. But when Kurt had appeared with Anakin in tow, she felt like the world had lifted from her shoulders. She just felt so much better.

"Next time you try to take a swan dive," Matty laughed, shaking his head as he rolled his eyes.
Anakin chuckled, his arms still around Buffy.

"I know, I know, 'try a better arc and get more hang time'," He finished for Matty.
