The Incredible Journey Series: A Lost Boy Found
It was around the time of 1880 when Drusilla did the unthinkable. She found a stray on the street and turned him into one of us. Thankfully, Angelus didn't protest. Too much.........
"William, thanks to you the mob is after us!"
"Do you know what you did boy!?!"
The only thing left to do was to break it up. I think a brawl will only get us further into the mob.
"Alright enough is enough!"
Drusilla: But I want to watch them play grandmummy!
Shit!!!!!!!!!!!
November of 1880, Beijing China
The place was burning to the ground. The stench of deaths were heavy and intoxicating.
I zeroed in on a farmer trying to make his quick escape. I ran after him.
When I came back, Drusilla and Spike had left us to be alone. I didn't have to think twice about where they went.
Angelus: I say we stake that boy!
"Aren't you afraid that your precious Dru won't like it.................!?!"
*The Wake Up Call*
I realized something. Angel and I, it can never work. He was too fond of Dru. She was his obsession. His constant...........
I'm thinking, Spike's beginning to see it too. The change in her behavior, the distance, and the way she seemed to be withdrawn. Pulling away from him..........
She never even gave him the time of day. She just spends most of her time locked away with Angel. He tried to help her but she wouldn't let him.
One night, she was so furious with him that he was sent to my room. She refused to speak with him unless she had to. For five days, he couldn't sleep in their bed. She would always give him the cold shoulder.
I've had enough of the silent treatment. It was nauseating the way he was treated in front of me.
"You and I going to have a long talk and you're going to listen!"
I had to make Angel see.
"Dru has Spike to take care of her, why don't you just butt out and let them work out their own problems!?!"
Angelus: Because I'm her sire!
"And I'm your's!!!!!!!!!!"
It's been so long since I used my sire rights on him. He needed a firm reminder of who I am and what I can do.
I was running out of ideas. I had to do this, he gave me no choice...........
