Buffy was dead. He got there to late to save her. A single tear ran down his face mourning the woman he once loved. As he turned to walk away he felt someone touch him. He stops and turns around and feels the arms wrap around him. He feels the silent tears fall. He holds onto her giving her comfort as much as she was giving him the same. They take one last look at her grave and turn and walk away knowing they will comfort each other.
