Happy To Bleed For You

First let me say that I'm sorry if there's been a mistake with my previous stories...I'm new to this and I don't know much about it...second i would enjoy at least one or two reviews even if ity's just to tell me how bad i suck because constructive critique or just plain fuck you helps to write a better story. This is a kind of the world's out to get me kind of story and I'll try to write it a little more original since there's alot of Buffy Faith going on on aff...Thanxs,Rae.


Chapter 1: It All Comes Back To You.

(Faith's point of view.)

There's no other way to put it...Sometimes it's fucked up how your life can go from okay to bombs over Baghdad in a matter of seconds...all because of a mistake...

Now that I look at it from my new point of view,the new me point of view,I see how bad I screwed things up,how I blew everything to hell just because I was hard headed...just because I didn't want the pepole around me to see that behind my facade,hiding deep beneath my tough girl badass act, there was a hopeless scared little girl. A little girl that needed help,a little girl that wanted comfort and a warm pair of arms to hold her,a little girl that just wanted somebody...I pushed everyone away because that little girl was a part of me...No,that little girl is me. It was and still is me.

I see know that what I did was stupid. It was more than stupid and now that I look back at it,that must have been the biggest way that I ever showed I was weak...

She just sits there quiet and contemplating as Willow looks on ahead at the winding road that will slowly but surely lead them back to SunnyDale. The slow hum of the motor and crunching of the rocks under the tires create an almost surreal scene of peacefulness as they slowy get closer to their destination.

Looking out of the slightly fog covered window,Faith occassionaly glances over to find Willow looking at her sympathetically with a sad excuse of a smile on her face. She tries to ignore it but it's proving really hard to accomplish. The truth is that she can't blame her. After getting her ass hand to her by the beast and then by Angelus twice, she doesn't exactly look all that intimidating and fearsome like she had six months ago. In fact at this very moment she's trying her hardest not to burst into tears. She's in pain,exhasusted,and worst of all...scared shitless.

"Hmm." She chuckles in spite of herself earning Willow's attention once again.

"Faith?..." she says softly pretty much able to tell what the other girl is thinking by the way she's fidgeting. "I know it's hard for you to just come back after all that's happened but-"

Faith sighs tiredly,she isn't trying to be mean but there's nothing Willow can say that will make her feel any better at this point. "I'm five by five Red." she smirks at her in her usual way but it feels like it came out looking like she has a stomach ache.

Willow shakes her head taking a turn next to the sign that says 'WELCOME TO SUNNYDALE'. "You don't look five by five. I know you're scared but I'm sure everybody will be happy to see you. Especially now that they know you saved Angel's soul."

"Well that helps." She whispers softly. Feeling her stoic mask slip farther and farther as they approach the first red light in town. With each second that passes a feeling of dread and guilt keeps building stronger in the pit of her stomach. It's like the post anxiety feeling you get when you get strapped into a seat on a roller coaster...you know it's coming yet you're still gripping onto your seat like it's your life line.

Maybe I should just jump out of the car while I still have a chance. What the hell was I thinking? I can't come back here,I know that. After everything that I did to them...to Willow,Xander,Giles,Riely, even Angel,what gives me the right to just walk in all giddy just because I Reinsoul one vamp.I hurt them all so bad...especially Buffy.

(Npov)

It's as if Willow is reading her thoughts because she puts her hand over hers tenderly and looks her in the eyes. "Faith...I forgive you and so do Xander and Giles," she chuckles gently, "and there's no doubt about Angel and Dawn just about leapt with joy when she knew you were coming back to SunnyDale."

Faith takes in a shaky breath,blinking back tears that are just barely hanging in there. It's amazing that they all forgive her...but Willow didn't mention Buffy and that hurts worse than the knife she stuck inside of her...but then again,who is she to think she can just do a little time in jail and then just break out and expect everyone to forgive her...to expect eveything to be okay?

"Willow-"

"Shit!" Willow grunts as she stomps her foot on the break pedal just in time to miss running over some
one lying in the middle of the road. There's only the sound of their heavy breatheing as they sit still for a couple of seconds in the car. "Oh my god." Willow whispers moving to get out of the car.

Faith follows suite,unstrapping her seatbelt and pushing the door open.She takes a few steps towards the body,on alert just in case it's a vampire or demon trying to get to them. "Careful." she mumbles to Willow who kneels next to the body.Being mindful she reaches out to turn the body over which is perched on it's side.

"Oh god!..."

"Jesus!" Faith gasp as the voice of the girl startles her. However it only takes her a second before she's cradling her head in her lap,wiping away at a river of blood that spews from her mouth as she attempts to breathe. She looks at Williow with questioning eyes then turns her attention back to the girl who is looking at her curiously despite her state. "Hey,um.just-just hold on okay we'll get you some help."

"...no...no just help me stand up." The girl wheezes,her face contorted in her pain.

"I don't think that's such a good idea." Willow steps in with a cellphone in hand. "Let me just call an ambulance."

"No! Damnit! Just help stand up please."

"Okay okay. I'm ganna help you." Faith says hooking her arms around the girl's waist. She lifts gently until she's up and leaning against her slightly. She can't help but notice the feeling of broken bones all throughout her small torso,not to mention she's quite some blood on her.

The girl sways a little on her feet before finally finding the means to more or less stand on her own. She takes a deep breath before slowly turning in the other girl's arms. "Thanks."

"No,no problem. Do you need a lift anywhere?" Faith offers before she can stop herself.

The girl smiles gratefully at her. "Actually...I don't really know where I'm going. It's just this feeling...and I'm looking for someone." she says shyly blushing as she shakes.

Willow brings a black hoodie from the back of the car and hands it to her. It's really dark but even from here she can tell that the girl is in need of some serious surgery. "Here,it's not much but it's better than nothing."

Faith allows her to move away a little to grab the jacket and put it on. She grabs a hold of her quickly however when her knees buckle from underneath her.

"Damnit...I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble." she apologizes trying to stand.

"Why don't you tell us whom you're looking for?? I'm pretty sure we can find them." Willow offers.

"I'm...I'm...looking for uh...Buffy Summers."

Faith instantly gets on the defensive,there's no trusting anyone with the knowledge of Buffy. "Who are you?" she asks a little too roughly.

"Wait...you're...Faith Lehane aren't you?" the girl ask getting to her feet,her body going rigid as what can only be described as a fighting stance.

Faith gets into position as well and watches Willow stand on guard out of the corner of her eye. "Who wants to know?"

"Sammy Olivares...I'm I'm a-whoa." Faith catches her just seconds before she hits the ground. She looks to Willow for answers.

"I don't know. But we can't leave her just anywhere especially since she knows who you and Buffy are."
She points to the back seat telling Faith to slip her in before grabbing her cellphone and dialing Xander's number.

"Heeeeeelo?" Xander greets her.

"Xander it's Willow."

"What's up Willow?"

"Listen tell Giles and Buffy we'll be there in about ten minutes...And Xander tell them we'll be having more company than expected."

"Alrighty then."

"Thanks." Willow sighs heavily and gets into the car looking over at Faith who is still standing outside looking at the road like it's about to eat her. She clears her throat to get her attention, "Um Faith,is something wrong?"

Faith looks back at the girl in the back seat then scoffs lightly before looking back at the road " I guess I really am back in SunnyDale."
