Spike entered the Magic Box, surprised to see Xander there.

The carpenter’s eyes widened at the sight of the vampire. They hadn’t really spoken since the occurrence in his crypt, and he was the last person Xander expected to see that night. “What are you doing here?”

Spike shrugged and walked further into the shop. “I could say the same about you.”

“I wanted to talk to Anya, but she hasn’t shown up yet. I guess she’s running late.”

Spike nodded, wanting to talk to the ex-demon as well. He was hoping for some kind of spell that would dull the ache he felt in his non-beating heart, but wasn’t about to let Harris know that. “You two on talking terms again?”

Xander let out a sigh. “Well, she hasn’t been in a very talking mood since I left her at the altar. I think she’s been avoiding me, but I have to make her understand why I did it. I never meant to hurt her.”

“I’m sure you didn’t, just like I’m sure your leaving her had nothing to do with me.”

Xander rolled his eyes. “You’re damn right it had nothing to do with you, I’m still trying to forget about what happened. It makes me cringe just thinking about it.”

Spike tried not to show how hurt he was by those words, instead putting on his usual façade. “It’s no picnic for me to relive, either.”

Xander ignored him and held up a bottle of Whiskey that he found behind the counter. “You want a drink?”

Spike was very relieved for that. “God, yes,” he said, snatching the bottle out of the boy’s hand and taking a long swig of the alcohol.

Xander did the same once he grabbed it back.

It didn’t take them long to finish the bottle after that.

“Women are too much bloody trouble, mate. I’ve been seeing this girl for a little while now, and out of nowhere she just tells me that it’s over. I guess I should have expected it, never could keep her very happy.”

Xander agreed. “Anya is being really unreasonable about this whole thing. How many times do I have to apologize? We weren’t ready for marriage, so I did her a huge favor by breaking it off. We would have been miserable if I didn’t.”

Spike nodded, taking another sip of a second bottle that they found. Or was it the third? It was hard to keep track at this point. “You know what? I say we forget about them and move on. If they don’t want us, then we don’t need them. It’s their loss.”

Xander raised the bottle in the air. “Amen to that,” he claimed, taking another sip himself and finishing off the bottle. He slammed it down on the counter, confused by the look Spike was now giving him. “What? Do I have something on my face?”

Spike moved closer to him, lust clouding his features.

Xander gulped. “What are you doing?”

Spike grinned in response. “Moving on,” with that said, he smashed his lips to Xander’s in a passionate kiss.

Xander was taken by surprise, but instantly found himself returning the kiss. He didn’t know if it was all the alcohol they drank, but realized that he actually missed being with the vampire. Before he knew it, Xander found himself flat on his back. Giles would be very mad to find out they were doing this on the table where research was usually had, but he just couldn’t find it in him to care.

Spike quickly stripped Xander of his clothing, doing the same with his afterwards. Before the carpenter even knew what happened, Spike was taking his cock into his mouth and sucking on it.

Xander moaned, running his fingers through Spike’s hair. “Fuck, you’re really good at that.”

Spike released his penis with a plop, pleased by the reaction. “There’s plenty more where that came from. I don’t have any lotion this time around, so I hope you can take the pain.”

Xander didn’t have a chance to respond as Spike was flipping him over, ass in the air.

In one swift move, Spike buried his cock inside the boy’s tight hole. Not caring to be gentle, but Xander had no complaints.

There would definitely be no going back this time.

“Holy shit, are you seeing this?”

Andrew and Jonathan nodded, both for the first time at a loss for words.

Warren continued to stare at the screen. “I thought Spike was into girls.”

Andrew had a dreamy look on his face. “He’s so cool.”

“Have you got anything yet?”

Willow shook her head. “I’m almost there. Whoa,” she said, her jaw dropping at what was now on her laptop.

Buffy came to her side, her eyes widening at what looked to be Spike and Xander going at it in the Magic Box. “Oh, god,” she replied.

“Where’s Anya? We can’t let her see this,” Willow commented.

Buffy was finding it hard to think clearly.

The front door opened and Dawn came in, both oblivious to her presence, until she was standing right next to them.

The teenager’s gasp brought Willow back to reality as she stood up and covered Dawn’s eyes, looking at Buffy for some help.

Buffy still didn’t know what to think, when the sound of the door opening again finally turned her gaze away from the screen.

“I don’t even know why I’m here, but I needed some female bonding and Hallie was busy.”

Willow wasn’t fast enough to close the laptop before Anya could see what was going on.

She saw red at the sight of Xander giving orgasms to the vampire, orgasms that were only supposed to be meant for her. As if humiliating her at the wedding wasn’t bad enough. “Oh, he’ll pay for this.” In a cloud of smoke, Anya vanished before their eyes.

They were left staring after her in shock.

“I’m guessing Anya’s a demon again. You better get there fast, Buffy. Before she does anything vengeancy,” Willow explained, but Buffy was already gone.

Spike pulled out of Xander’s ass, giving it a firm pat before he moved away.

They both got dressed slowly, avoiding each other’s gaze.

Xander broke the silence a few seconds later. “Next time, I’ll be the one in control.”

Spike smiled, liking the sound of that. He was sure Harris would go back to denying that anything happened between them.

Xander rubbed the back of his neck. “I should get going.”

Spike nodded and watched him walk away, putting on his duster and glancing around at the mess they made. He would hate to be the one to have to clean that up. A loud noise from outside had him hurrying out of the Magic Box.

“You’re on thin ice, Xander Harris. I can’t believe you have the nerve to do this to me. I’m going to make your testicles rot; you’ll never be able to use them again.”

Xander tried to calm his former girlfriend. “Anya, can’t we talk about this? It just happened; no one was supposed to find out.”

She glared at him. “Well, maybe you should have checked to make sure there weren’t any cameras around.”

Spike caught most of the show when he left the shop, taking a step back when Anya’s cold gaze turned on him.

“And you, I’ll turn you into a toad or something. Make you so repulsive that not even the other toads would want you.” She focused back on Xander. “You always made me feel horrible for being a demon, for all the lives that I’ve cost. And yet it didn’t stop you from fucking one. You’re the disgusting one here, Harris. I should make both of you pay.” Anya raised her hands toward them, but was suddenly shoved aside.

“Anya, don’t, that’s not the way.”

She turned her glare on Buffy now. “Why? You wouldn’t want me to damage your precious friend? You don’t care about Spike, right? I could turn him to dust with one flick of my wrist.”

Buffy shook her head. “No, I don’t want that. Let’s just go, okay? We’ll talk; have that female bonding that you wanted. If they want to be together, there’s nothing we can do about it.” She glanced at Spike, seeing a look on his face that she couldn’t remember seeing before. “It didn’t take you long, did it?”

He shrugged. “You told me to move on, I was just following orders. I’m not going to pine after you forever, Slayer. I wasn’t planning on this to happen, and I sure as hell didn’t want everyone to see it.”

Xander raised his eyebrows. “Wait, Buffy was the girl you were talking about? How long has that been going on?”

Buffy glared at her friend, even though he was someone that she didn’t even recognize anymore. “You’re really not in a position to be asking any questions right now.”

Xander nodded and turned back to Anya. “I’m really sorry, the last thing I ever wanted to do was hurt you. I can’t believe you became a vengeance demon again, but I deserve that. This thing with Spike only happened twice; I never thought it would again after the first time. I just didn’t realize how much I could relate to him. I never in a million years would have thought that I could actually get involved with a vampire, but I’m sorry that it hurt you. That wasn’t my intention.”

Anya crossed her arms over her chest. “I won’t seek vengeance on you, but we’re officially over. I thought we could work things out, but I don’t see that happening now. I hope you two are very happy together,” she said, then once again vanished.

Spike took in a deep, unneeded breath. “Buffy…”

She held her hand up, cutting him off. “I don’t want to hear it. What you two did, I can’t even begin to wonder where this came from. It doesn’t matter; I wish you both the best of luck. I wasn’t good for you, but maybe Xander can be.”

Spike was stunned as he watched her walk away, never expecting that.

“So, what happens now?”

Spike shrugged, looking back at him. “We should probably clean up inside. I think we at least owe Anya that much.”

Xander nodded and followed Spike back into the store. He had a feeling that no cleaning would take place, but was very determined to destroy that camera.
