Part one - THE REAL RUPERT GILES

“Buffy look out!”

Buffy spun and blocked the hit she just *knew* was going to connect with her skull.

“Thanks Xand.”

Recovering quickly, she staked the vamp, leaving just two, well one, considering Angel wasn’t the enemy.

It was Giles who got the remaining vamp, his sword swinging in a sharp arc to decapitate the demon.

“We’re nine for nine. Is it me, or it really slow tonight?”

The others all turned at looked at Buffy as if she had two heads, causing her to blush and duck her head.

“Its just me then huh?”

Angel gave her a half smirk and cleaned his own sword free of blood.

“Well, I’m beat. I’m going to head home guys.” Willow said as she picked up her fallen cross.

Buffy jogged over to her side and threw an arm around her shoulders,

“I’ll walk ya home, we’re done for tonight anyway.”

-----

Willow had barely closed the dorm room door behind them, before Buffy had her pressed against it, and her top off.

“God! I love it when you slay.” Willow groaned and pulled Buffy’s body tighter against her own.

“Hmm…” Buffy reached up and ripped away Willow’s bra, before ducking her head and taking a nipple between her lips, causing the redhead to throw her head back.

When Buffy heard the very real whimper of pain coming from her lover, she pulled back.

“Are you okay?”

Willow pouted as she reached up to rub her head.

“Stupid door.”

Buffy grinned and pulled Willow back with her.

“How about we move this to the bed.” It wasn’t a question, because she already knew what Willow’s answer would be.

-----

Angel sighed as he killed another vamp, and watched Giles finish off his.

“Where’s Xander?” He looked around for the other human, and found him knocked out a few feet away.

Giles sighed and picked up his dropped weapon while Angel hoisted up the brunette.

“Giles this isn’t exactly normal. First the vamps, then the demons, then the vamps again. Is there anything big on the horizon?”

Giles shook his head, lost in though.

“I do wish though, that now I hadn’t given Buffy the night off to take Willow out.”

Angel sent his a small smile.

“They needed it though, so it was good that you did.”

-----

“Giles? Its Buffy… yeah, how was patrol?… yeah okay… tell him thanks… I know Angel has no problems with patrolling, but I still feel a little guilty… is Xander okay?… yeah… okay, see you in a few hours then.” Buffy hung up the phone and rolled over to wrap an arm around her lover, placing a light kiss on her exposed shoulder so as not to wake her.

“What happened to Xander?”

Buffy shivered at Willow’s husky voice and tightened her grip around her.

“He got knocked out, but he’s fine.”

Willow turned in Buffy’s arms, and sighed, placing a kiss on the blondes lips.

“What are we going to do when schools over for summer?”

Buffy sighed.

“I have no clue. I guess we could stay with mom, but she would have a strict no sex policy.”

Willow shivered as Buffy’s hand stoked her ass.

“Couldn’t have that.”

Buffy pulled back, a mock hurt look on her face.

“Are you saying you’re only with me for the sex?”

Willow nodded.

“The amazing sex… yes.”

Buffy mocked growled and rolled over, pinning Willow below her.

“Just for that, you get to shower alone.”

Jumping off the bed, Buffy grabbed her shower things and blew a kiss to her gaping lover.

“Oh you little…” Grinning, Willow jumped up and grabbed her own stuff before chasing Buffy, thanking god that they had both remembered their robes… this time anyway.

-----

Giles sighed as the fourth cemetery proved as empty as the last.

Buffy grunted as she kicked at the ground.

“Giles what the hell is going on? Last week this town was bopping with the undead, now its like they all skipped town. What gives?”

He shook his head and wiped at his glasses.

“I have no idea, it is disconcerting though.”

Buffy grunted again and sighed.

“Okay, I say its time we swing by Willy’s.”

-----

He sighed when he saw her come in.

“Slayer, what can I do for you?”

Buffy grinned and jumped up on a bar stool.

“What? No ‘hey Buffy, its nice to see you?’”

He gave her a look and threw down his towel.

Buffy’s grin widened.

“So, what’s going on, how come the towns empty?”

He shook his head.

“All I know, is that something big is happening in the magic world.”

Giles stood up straighter, but Buffy frowned.

“Okay, what’s that got to do with my demons leaving town?”

Giles stepped up and interrupted her.

“Do they know who it is?”

Willy shook his head no.

“All they know, is that its someone powerful. Most left to join the fun, those who didn’t hightailed it out of town.”

Giles frowned.

“Why leave Sunnydale?”

Willy rolled his eyes, before catching the glare the Englishman threw his way.

“Think watcher. Would you want to be on the mouth of hell when the magic bursts free?”

-----

Giles closed the door behind Buffy and took off his jacket.

“Would you like anything to drink?”

Buffy shook her head no.

“But I would like to know what I missed, because I got the feeling you had some idea what he was talking about.”

Giles slumped into his seat.

“There is things about my past, that I haven’t shared with you, now I feel I must.”

Buffy frowned and sat down beside him.

“Giles?”

He rubbed at his chin and began his story, only getting a few sentences in, something about a school, when he suddenly grasped his left arm with his right at the elbow.

Buffy grabbed him when he slumped off the couch and fell to his knees, curses escaping him as she held him upright.

“Giles!”

After a few moments, he shakily sat back on the couch, with his Slayer’s help.

“Giles?”

He didn’t answer her, but rolled up his shirt sleeve.

His eyes closed when he saw the mark, once more a dark black against his skin.

Buffy frowned at the skull head with a snake coming out of it, having never seen it before.

“I can’t say much for your tattoo choosing skills.”

She got a dry chuckle.

“Believe me Buffy, if I could have, I would never have gotten this.”

The Slayer looked up and held his gaze.

“Giles, what’s going on?”

He closed his eyes, knowing what was wrong, and knowing that He needed to be stopped.

“Buffy, what I am about to tell you, I have never told anyone but one man…”

Buffy eyes widened as Giles told his story, and one thought kept running through her head.

‘How the hell am I supposed to stop a magic guy?”

Part two - DECISIONS, DECISIONS

Dumbledore sighed as he stoked his beard.

Snape was pacing, McGonagall was frowning, and Hagrid was mumbling.

“We must contact Rupert.”

Snape’s head shot up.

“Why?”

Dumbledore half smiled.

“Two reasons. One, he was closest to Voldemort towards the end, he knows how his mind works, to a degree anyway, and two, he is watcher to the Chosen One.”

Snape’s eyes narrowed.

“She holds no magical power.”

Dumbledore smiled, and his eyes twinkled.

“That she does. The Slayer is a powerful being, that not even the Council of Watchers can comprehend. Besides, she is not your typical Slayer.”

Taking his quill, he wrote down a quick, but detailed letter and called for Fawkes,

“Take this to Rupert Giles please.”

Fawkes nipped at his hand affectionately and took off, the letter attached to his foot.

The office door burst open, and a certain teenager burst through.

“Professor, sorry to interrupt, but I need to speak to you.”

Dumbledore smiled at Harry, while Snape openly glared at him

“Yes Harry, what is it?”

Harry ignored Snape and concentrated on the Headmaster.

“You wanted to know if I had anymore dreams, well I did. There was redhead. Voldemort had the redhead, and he was stealing her magic.”

Dumbledore frowned.

“Harry, Voldemort has enough magic of his own, he does not need to steal anymore.”

Harry nodded.

“Yes, but in the dream, I felt his, need I guess, to have the girls.”

Dumbledore paced before spinning around.

“Has this happened yet, did you get the feeling that it had already happened?”

Harry shook his head, confused himself.

“That’s why I came to you Sir, I know it hasn’t happened yet, I just know it. Its going to happen, but I don’t know when.”

Dumbledore seemed to stare right through Harry, before his eyes focused again.

“Would you know this girl, if you saw her?”

Harry shook his head no.

“I just saw the red hair, I woke up before anything else happened.”

Dumbledore gave him a soft smile and motioned towards the door.

“Best get back to bed Harry.”

Part three - OWLS IN SUNNYDALE

Buffy, Willow, Xander, Angel and Cordy, all listened as Giles read out his letter.

The only one not surprised by the Phoenix, was Angel it seemed. The rest were openly gawking at the supposedly mythical bird.

Giles had retold his story for the rest of them, after Buffy did a ring around and got Angel to pick the humans of the group up in his car.

“Dear Rupert,

Old friend, what we have feared has finally happened. Lord Voldemort has returned. I know that by now, you must know because of his mark, but I felt it my duty to write you and personally tell you.

I’m sorry to have to ask, but you know I must.

Please Rupert, we need your help, and that of the help of your charge. I have been keeping an eye on you both, and you have much to be proud of with that one.

Send your reply with Fawkes, who I am sure remembers you.

Your friend,
Albus Dumbledore
Headmaster, Hogwarts, School or Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Giles smiled as he stroked Fawkes.

“Buffy, how would you feel about a trip to England?”

-----

An hour later, it was all arranged.

Giles had sent a message back with Fawkes, informing Dumbledore of his decision.

It was agreed that everyone would go, the town was safe until Voldemort was stopped, plus it was usually quiet during the summer months, the amount of sunlight annoying the demons no end.

The girls didn’t have to worry about college, as it was ending in a few days for summer and their exams were over, though Giles had warned them that dealing with everything in England could take longer than the holiday break.

Joyce wasn’t happy about her daughter leaving for a few months, but in the end accepted it and helped Buffy pack.

Within three hours of Giles reading Dumbledore’s letter, they were in the air and heading to England.

Part four - HOGWARTS

Buffy nudged Willow awake, and wiped at the drool that had collected on the corner of her mouth.

Willow moaned and snuggled deeper into Buffy’s body, and the blonde smiled before picking up her once again asleep girlfriend, and following Giles into the train station.

They all stopped behind Giles, Angel making sure his duster covered him from the sun.

“Giles? Where is the train? Which platform?” Buffy adjusted Willow in her arms, ignoring the looks she was getting from other train users.

Giles gestured between Platforms nine and ten.

“Well, you just have to walk through there.”

Everyone gave him a look of disbelief, before they turned to Buffy, who shook her head.

“No-way, I’m holding Willow.”

Angel sighed, and straightened his shoulders.

They all watched wide eyed and he disappeared through the wall.

Giles sent Xander through next, then Cordy, then Buffy and Willow, and finally, he followed them.

“Willow’s gonna be pissed she missed that.”

Buffy smiled at Xander and placed a kiss on Willow’s head.

Before them stood a scarlet steam engine with Hogwarts written in gold on the front.

Buffy looked around, expecting other students.

“Where is everyone else?”

Giles smiled and led them towards the train.

“School doesn’t start until September first. The students will not be arriving until then. We will use the summer to get acquainted with the school, the teachers, and the grounds surrounding the school, before they arrive.”

-----

The entire gang, which included the now awake Willow, all looked on in awe as the school came into view.

“Wow!”

Everyone echoed Xander’s statement.

Cordy ginned and shifted her backpack on her shoulder.

“Now this is a place I could live in.” her attitude changed when a ghost appeared right in front of her.

“AH!” Jumping, she moved back, hiding behind Angel, who was closest.

“I say, there’s no need for that.” Nearly Headless Nick greeted the gang, before spotting Giles.

“Ripper! Good to see you old man.”

Giles smiled and said hello to the Gryffindor ghost.

Buffy watched the smile on his face as it grew the longer he was in the school.

Her watcher seemed more in his element here, than he did in Sunnydale.

Sensing a presence behind them, Buffy turned. Seeing an old man, she relaxed her stance, until she felt the power rolling off him.

“Giles?”

Giles turned towards her, and his eyes widened when he saw who was there.

“Albus!” Giles rushed forward, his hand outstretched.

Dumbledore smiled, as he shook hands with his old friend.

Buffy relaxed, now knowing that the man before her was of no threat. Turning, she saw Willow, Xander and Cordy still taking in the sights of the hall, specifically, the ceiling which looked like the sky outside.

“Rupert, I’m so pleased you could come.” Dumbledore’s eyes twinkled as he looked over the odd group. His eyes paused when they landed on Angel.

“A Slayer working with a Vampire. I missed the memo on that one I think.”

Angel straightened, and Buffy smiled.

“He’s a friend, sir.” She added on the sir out of respect to Giles, though she found the soft tones of the older man soothing in some way.

Dumbledore sent her a kind smile, and for some reason, she was relieved.

“It never crossed my mind that he was anything but my child.”

Buffy smiled, and left Giles to his friend, returning her attention back to her lover and friends.

Looking again at Willow, she could see how tired she was, and Xander and Cordy were echoing that.

Angel was fine, as this was his usual getting up time, and Buffy herself had slept a little on the plane.

Turning, she waited until Dumbledore had finished talking before interrupting softly.

“Excuse me, but were are we going to sleep, the humans of the group are a little tired.”

Giles stood straighter, feeling the jet-lag himself.

Dumbledore smiled and motioned for them all to follow him.

By the time they had reached the second landing, Cordy had declared that she hated the moving staircases.

Dumbledore smiled and sent her a wink.

“The trick of it is, is remembering which one leads where.”

Cordy huffed, but Dumbledore took no offence, knowing that they were all tired.

“Toffee Creams.”

The gang stepped back as the gargoyle they had stopped at, suddenly stood to attention and swung open.

“Wow.” Again, it was Xander that stated it, but those seeing it for the first time, all agreed with it.

They all stepped off the staircase, and followed the headmaster into his office.

“If you would all sit.” He waved his wand, and six chairs appeared in the room.

Buffy reached over and closed Willow’s mouth, but only after she had closed her own.

“Now, to sort you into rooms, we must first sort you into a house.”

At the Slayer’s raised eyebrow, Dumbledore elaborated.

“There are four House’s within the school. Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. They are each named after the four-founders of this school. Each new student is sorted into one of these houses,”

Buffy paused, and raised an eyebrow.

“Hold on, Students?”

Dumbledore slid a look towards Giles, knowing he hadn’t discussed this with his young friend yet.

“I’m afraid that this problem will take longer than the summer months. I have ready, a spell that will convince your Professors in America, that you are in fact studying in a school here in England. The school will be fictional, but I have created a fully loaded background, should they decided to check up on you Miss, Summers, Rosenberg and Chase.”

Buffy turned to her lover, to see how she was taking this. There was no-one Buffy knew who was so pro school, other than Willow.

She was surprised by the big smile on the redhead’s tired face.

“I get to go to witch school?”

When Dumbledore nodded his head, Willow squealed and turned to Buffy.

“Can we?? Please?”

Buffy grinned and reached out, cupping her lover’s cheek.

“Yeah, why not.” She turned to face her watcher though, a serious look on her face.

“But who will look after the Hellmouth?”

Giles frowned before meeting her gaze.

“The council can look after Sunnydale. They would have to bring a few potential Slayer’s with them, but, ruling out any apocalypses, they should be fine.”

Buffy grinned, happy to be away form the daily fighting.

“And you Rupert. Would you mind filling in as Defence against the dark arts teacher?”

Giles’ eyes widened.

“Are you sure?”

Dumbledore nodded his head.

Giles smiled and looked over at Buffy, who could read the happiness in his eyes.

She sent him a big smile, before turning her attention back to the headmaster.

“Okay, so how do you chose which house we go into?”

Dumbledore released that he was seeing the Slayer in action, this was her taking charge of a strange situation.

He smiled, and reached for an old tattered hat.

“I don’t. This hat will.”

By the looks on their faces, everyone except for Giles, thought Dumbledore had gone nuts.

“This hat originally belonged to Godric Gryffindor.”

Giles smiled, and motioned for Xander to sit.

He did, and watched as Dumbledore handed the watcher the hat.

“Now, just listen.”

Xander was about to interrupt, but then the hat did something that had mouths dropping open yet again.

It started singing.

Oh you may not think me pretty,
But don't judge on what you see,
I'll eat myself if you can find
A smarter hat than me.
You can keep your bowlers black,
Your top hats sleek and tall,
For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat
And I can cap them all.
There's nothing hidden in your head
The Sorting Hat can't see,
So try me on and I will tell you
Where you ought to be.

You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve, and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart;
You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil;
Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
if you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind;
Or perhaps in Slytherin
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folks use any means
To achieve their ends.

So put me on! Don't be afraid!
And don't get in a flap!
You're in safe hands (though I have none)
For I'm a Thinking Cap!

Xander closed his eyes as Giles placed the hat on his head.

“Hmm, what do we have here… brave, loyal, you would do well in either Gryffindor or Hufflepuff… where to put you…”

Xander was repeating a mantra in his head “put me where Giles was” over and over.

“Ah, were Ripper was eh? Very well, GRYFFINDOR!”

Xander sighed and relaxed as Giles took the hat off him and patted him on the back.

Next up, was Cordy.

“Ah, now, where to put you… you have the daring, the nerve to be in Gryffindor…”

Cordy jumped on that, wanting to be where she figured the rest were going.

The hat sighed.

“GRYFFINDOR!”

They were two for two.

Next up, was Angel.

“Oh, a Vampire eh… well you could go into any house here and do well… but I suppose that you will want to follow the girl…”

Angel frowned, not knowing what the hat meant by that.

“GRYFFINDOR!”

Three for three.

Next was Buffy.

The hat had barely touched her head, when GRYFFINDOR was bellowed out.

Last up was Willow.

“Ah now, you would make a perfect Ravenclaw my dear…”

Willow started panicking in her head. She wanted to be where Buffy was.

The hat sighed, yet again. Never had it had a group of friends so determined to stay together.

There was only one thing for it.

“GRYFFINDOR IT IS!”

Willow sighed, relieved and jumped off the stool once Giles had removed the had, and landed in Buffy’s arms.

The Slayer smiled at the joy on Willow’s face, before a polite throat clearing brought their attention back to Giles and Dumbledore.

“Right then Gryffindors, your common room and bedrooms are this way.”

Part five - FAMILY

Buffy woke up, to the feeling of Willow’s lips wrapped around her right nipple.

“Mmm, morning.”

Willow grinned, and pulled back, letting her teeth scrape her lover’s nipple, knowing what the result would be,

Sure enough, Buffy half purred, half growled as she flipped them over, trapping Willow beneath them,

“Thank god Cordy was given her own room.” Buffy leaned down and kissed her lover good morning.

Willow pulled back, smiling at Buffy’s pout.

“Why was that?”

Buffy only raised an eyebrow.

Willow’s eyes widened.

“You think Dumbledore knows? About me and you I mean?”

Buffy nodded, and moved her kisses to Willow’s jaw and neck seeing as how she was deprived her lover’s mouth.

“He knows a lot about us.”

Willow was going to answer, when Buffy slipped between her legs and gave a thrust, her thigh hitting off Willow’s clit, causing the redhead to gasp, and arch her back.

Buffy slid down the arched body and settled herself between her lover’s spread thighs.

“Its been way too long since we last did this you know.”

Willow refrained from mentioning that they had made love the day before, because Buffy had just put her tongue to good use.

-----

Buffy and Willow rushed into the main hall, ten minutes late.

Willow blushed at Xander’s knowing look, while Buffy just grinned and dragged her lover over to the group and pulled her down beside her.

When she looked up, she found that she didn’t recognise two of the people in the room.

Just as she was about to ask Giles, Dumbledore stood and drew everyone’s attention.

“Right, well, now that we’re all here,” he slid a pointed glance at Buffy and Willow, smiling at the redhead’s blush. He frowned, staring at her, before shaking his head and continuing on.

“This is Professor Snape, Potions Master. The lady beside him, is Professor McGonagall, deputy Headmistress and Configuration’s Master.”

Everyone said their hello’s, and Buffy shivered as she looked at Snape.

My god, did the man never wash his hair?

“Now, I neglected to mention last night, that we will not be alone in the castle. Due to Voldemort’s return, the Order of the Phoenix has moved it’s headquarters to the school.”

Giles sat up straighter, knowing that the order must have had no other choice other than to move bases.

Buffy frowned.

“So, where’s the rest of the party?”

Dumbledore sent her a small smile, though Snape openly scowled at her.

One by one, eight people began entering the room.

First came Sirius Black, then Hagrid, then Mr and Mrs. Weasley. Next came Mad-Eye Moody, Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks and finally Kingsley Shacklebolt.

Buffy searched each face, wondering what she was looking for, but knowing she would know it if she found it.

When Giles stood up to greet each of them like the old friends they most likely were, Buffy relaxed.

“So, we have a bunch of adults, and just us teenagers?” Again, it was the Slayer Dumbledore realised he was seeing.

“No, there are Mr and Mrs Weasley’s children, Ron, Ginny, Fred and George, Hermione Granger, simply because she was staying with the Weasley’s when we decided to move, and finally, we have Harry Potter.”

Buffy stood up when Giles stumble, catching him before he fell.

“Giles?”

Giles looked up at his old friend.

“Harry’s here?” Giles looked to his Slayer, giving her a small nod of thanks for the save.

“Harry, your nephew Harry?” Giles had already filled them in, otherwise the Scoobies would be lost as to who Harry Potter even was.

“Yes.”

Not many knew it, no-one who wasn’t present actually, that Giles was brother to James Potter. Giles was actually his middle name. Rupert Giles Potter.

It was changed after his brother and sister in law were murdered, and the attack was made of Harry’s life.

The boy had no idea he existed, and Buffy knew that Giles was worried about what was going to happen.

“Does Harry know? About me I mean?”

Buffy heard how his voice shook, and she focused her entire attention on her watcher.

Dumbledore shook his head no.

“We thought it best if it came from you.”

Giles sighed. The boy would never understand.

He would have moved heaven and hell to raise Harry, but Dumbledore had been adamant that he needed to grow up with Lily’s sister.

What an upbringing that had been.

“Where is he?”

Mr. Weasley stepped forward.

“The children are all still sleeping. Not one of them heard your young friends here arrive.”

Part six - THE DAMSEL

Xander screamed when he was tackled to the floor. He had left the others in the main hall, and left to find a toilet.

Rolling with his attackers in a move Buffy taught him, he turned the tables, putting him on top, before he could even look at the persons face, someone else grabbed him from behind.

A flash of blonde caught his eye, and he sighed.

Buffy heard him scream, and was out of her seat and in the hall before anyone else could move.

Taking stock of the situation, she saw Xander pin a redheaded kid, before another pulled him back and raised a wand.

Jumping into the fray, she pulled Xander back and behind her, already figuring out that the redhead’s belonged to the Weasley’s.

When she was hit by a blast, she flew back, and the last thing she remembered before darkness took her, was Willow’s angry face.

Willow’s eyes turned black as she stared at her lover lying on the cold floor.

Turning her head, she glared at the redheaded twins, knowing who they were, but not caring.

Just as she was about to do something she would probably regret later, Dumbledore stepped in.

“Fred! George! What are you two playing at?”

The twins stood straighter and spoke at once.

“We found these intruders in the castle Headmaster.”

Dumbledore sighed and reached down to check on Buffy.

“She’s fine, just a sleeping spell.”

Willow’s eyes were still black as he stood to face her.

“Miss Rosenberg?”

Blinking, she looked at him, before looking at Buffy again.

“Is she going to be okay?”

He had already said Buffy would be fine, but she needed conformation.

“Yes.”

Willow’s eyes closed, and when she opened the again, they were green once more.

“Okay.”

Xander smiled at her, happy she could control the power inside.

“Okay, so back to my attackers. Shouldn’t someone fill them in?”

Dumbledore sighed and told Fred and George to go and bring the rest down to the main hall.

Waving his wand, he floated Buffy up off the floor and guided her into the main hall, Willow on his heels.

Xander, Cordy, Angel and Giles followed behind.

----

Buffy woke up to hear a lot of people talking at once.

Someone was stroking her hair, and she knew it was Willow.

Holding in her moan, she opened her eyes, to see the green ones of her lover watching her.

“Hey.”

All talking stopped, causing Buffy to look away from Willow, and at the group as a whole.

The other kids she didn’t know, were gawking at her.

She spotted him as soon as she saw him. He looked enough like his uncle for Buffy to know who he was.

“Wow, that was a good sleep. So, what did I miss?”

Dumbledore chuckled.

“We have just been filling in the children on who you are, and why you are here.”

Buffy locked eyes with him, silently asking if they knew who and what she was.

He seemed to get it, and nodded his head.

Turing her own, she sought the gaze of the boy who had hit her with the sleeping spell.

“Word of advice, never do that to me again.”

He nodded, the awe still in his eyes.

“Bloody hell, a Slayer.”

“Fred! Language.” Mrs Weasley chastised her son.

“Sorry mum.”

Buffy smiled and settled back into Willow’s arms, sighing as they tightened around her.

“Mmm,” she couldn’t keep the moan in, but luckily, only Willow heard it.

As the talk went on around them, Buffy met Giles eyes, and nodded to Harry.

He sent her a shaky smile and stood up, gaining everyone’s attention.

“If I might have a word Harry?”

Harry looked up at professor Giles.

Sliding a look at Dumbledore, who nodded, he stood up and followed Giles from the hall.

Buffy watched them go then dragged her attention back to Willow.

“Wanna take a walk?”

Willow nodded and the two stood, drawing everyone’s attention.

“Willow and I are going to take a walk on the grounds. That’s okay, right?”

Dumbledore nodded his head.

“But keep away from the forest. Its off limits to students.”

Buffy sent him a wry grin. He really didn’t know her.

Willow didn’t say anything as she took Buffy’s hand and followed her from the room.

She did however hear Hermione’s gasp.

“Are they a couple?”

-----

Buffy finally stopped walking and pulled Willow down with her to the ground, resting her back against a tree, and her lover against her own body.

“Are you okay?”

Willow nodded and buried her face in Buffy’s neck, hoping that by placing little kisses there, Buffy would get distracted.

It worked for all of ten seconds.

“Will?”

Willow sighed and pulled back.

“When the spell hit you? I wanted to hurt him. I could feel the magic just below the surface, waiting on me to use it, wanting me to use it.”

Buffy smiled and stoked her face.

“But you didn’t. You didn’t let it control you.”

Willow blinked, then nodded, a small smile crossing her face.

“I think Dumbledore was surprised though by ‘black-eyed Willow’”

Buffy grinned, imaging the scene.

“My black-eyed Willow.”

The redhead grinned and leaned in for a kiss.

“Always.”

-----

Giles looked at the boy in front of him, at a lose as to what to say.

It was Harry who broke the silence.

“Have we met before? You seen familiar.”

Giles half smiled.

“As a matter of fact…”

Part seven - FLYING LESSONS

As soon as Buffy found out about flying classes, she demanded to learn how to fly a broom.

Giles watched in amazement as her broom came to her before she had even commanded it to. She had just rested her hand over it, about to say ‘Up’ when it had risen to her hands.

Willow’s came to her as soon as she commanded it to, as did Xander’s.

Cordy’s must have been sleeping, because it refused to budge.

Angel was present also, though he was more interested in the glamour that kept the sun from frying him, than learning how to fly. There was tears in his eyes as he lay on his back and watched the clouds float by.

Buffy was first in the air, her broomstick soaring high enough so that she got a good view of the school.

Harry was right behind her on his own special broom.

Keeping a close eye on her girlfriend, Buffy allowed herself to ger caught up in a race between Harry, herself and Xander.

Giles kept his eyes on Willow and Xander, watching to see how they coped. He knew Buffy could handle flying, it was obvious from take-off.

Not surprisingly, it was Harry that won the race, and Buffy pouted until Willow kissed it away, leaving a goofy look on her face.

Harry blushed and started telling Xander anything and everything he could think of.

Xander grinned and patted him on the back, seeing through the embarrassment.

“You’ll get used to it.”

Harry nodded and turned to face his uncle.

Even saying the words in his own head were amazing.

Giles, as he told Harry to call him, had filled Harry in on the background to his father’s family, and he brought his parents just that little bit closer.

-----

Buffy was still on cloud nine when they entered their room that night.

She had actually flown!

She was still bouncing on the balls of her feet, when she spotted Willow undressing.

When Willow looked up, she spotted a familiar glint in Buffy’s eyes, and began undressing slowly, giving her lover a show.

Buffy tore her eyes off her lover, and walked to their toy box - which no-one had mentioned when Buffy carried it in - and typed in the release code on the lock.

Willow tried to see what Buffy was getting out, but the Slayer had her back blocking any movement.

When Buffy turned around, a vibrator in one hand, and the nipple clamps and silk scarves in the other, Willow gulped.

Buffy walked to the bed, and waited for Willow to sort herself out, knowing the redhead knew what she was waiting for.

Willow practically ran to the bed and climbed on, raising her arms above her head and crossing them at the top.

Buffy smiled and leaned over her lover, gently tying one silk scarf around each wrist, then tying them both to the corresponding bed posts.

Letting her hand brush Willow’s body as she pulled away, Buffy smiled as Willow gulped and gasped at the same time.

Slowly, knowing Willow was watching every move she made, Buffy undressed.

The lust she could see in her lover’s eyes was making her needy, and Willow wanted nothing more than to lose herself in Buffy.

By the time Buffy was naked, Willow was panting.

Picking up the clamps, Buffy climbed onto the bed, in-between Willow’s spread thighs.

Leaning down, she brushed her lips over Willow’s, letting her tongue trace every nook and cranny she could find, before moving her mouth down to Willow’s neck, then her collarbone, until she finally reached the painfully erect nipples.

Groaning as she sucked one between her lips, Buffy reached up with her hand that held the clamps, and smoothed it onto the nipple she had just released, before moving onto the other breast.

Willow groaned loudly when both clamps were attached and Buffy began tugging gently on the chain, tightening the clamps around her nipples.

“Buffy…”

Buffy grinned and leaned down, smashing her lips to her panting lover’s.

“What do you want?”

Willow groaned as her head fell back.

“Fuck me.”

Buffy pulled back and lowered her hand, wanting to feel her lover before moving onto the vibrator.

Willow thrust her lower body up when Buffy began circling her clit.

Her eyes snapped open when she felt her lovers tongue enter her.

Buffy half groaned, half growled as Willow began thrusting against her face, wanting to feel her lover cum.

Using her right hand, while her left kept her balanced above Willow, Buffy removed her tongue from Willow’s body and thrust inside with two fingers.

When she nipped at Willow’s clit with her blunt teeth at the same time as she thrust a third finger inside, Willow came, bucking harshly and moaning Buffy’s name.

Not giving her lover time to recover, Buffy grabbed the vibrator, a eight inch pink vibrator at that, and turned it on as she thrust it inside.

Willow’s eyes widened as her body bowed off the bed, a string of mumbled words escaping, mostly ‘Buffy’s’ and ‘oh gods’.

Reaching up, Buffy yanked hard on the nipples clamp chain as she thrust hard inside Willow, stalling as she pushed in as far as she could go.

“Cum Willow.”

And just like that, Willow came, Buffy’s name falling from her lips in a shout, making the Slayer glad that sound didn’t travel well from their room.

Waiting until her lover had relaxed enough, Buffy pulled out the vibrating dildo and smiled at the hum of pleasure from her lover.

Seeing Willow’s eyes closing, Buffy leaned in and gave her a gently kiss goodnight.

Easing up from the bed, she removed the nipple clamps, earning a sigh even when Willow was sleeping, and untied the silk scarves, moving Willow’s arms down, before lifting her sleeping lover and placing her under the covers.

Picking up the vibrator, Buffy brought it to her mouth and licked it clean, feeling lust shoot through her at the taste of her lover.

Looking at the fast asleep Willow, Buffy sighed before climbing onto the opposite side of the bed and turned the vibrator back on.

She needed some release tonight, because there was no way she was sleeping now without it.

Part eight - MUGGLE DEFENCE

Buffy walked into the common room the next morning feeling great. When she spotted Hermione sitting in a corner, her nose in a book, she smiled, thinking of her lover.

“Morning.”

Hermione jumped and closed her book.

“Buffy, you scared me.”

Buffy shrugged and took a good look around the room, spotting things here and there that to her, loved odd.

That probably meant they were right at home.

“Where is Willow?”

Buffy grinned and nodded towards the staircase.

“She’s still sleeping.”

There was silence, and Buffy was about to break it, when Hermione did.

“So you and Willow… you’re a couple then?”

Buffy stilled, and a hard look entered her eyes, one that had Hermione backing away.

“I didn’t mean to offend, I just meant that… there are people here, once school starts again that is… that will try to make life hard for you both.”

Buffy relaxed and nodded.

“If and when that happens, then believe me, they will know that it is in their best interests not to piss me off.”

-----

Once again, the occupants of the castle were in Dumbledore’s office.

“Miss Summers-”

“Call me Buffy.”

Dumbledore nodded to her, and continued.

“Buffy, Rupert and I were talking, and he informs me, that there is demons who have joined Voldemort.”

Buffy nodded her head, a scowl on her face.

“Yeah, really messed up my patrols.”

Giles hid a smile behind his tea cup, but Buffy saw it and sent him a mock scowl.

“Yes, well, be that as it may, we both agree that it would be best if the students knew how to defend themselves from a non magical attack.”

Buffy stiffened, wondering where this was going.

“Rupert suggested that we introduce a new class. Muggle Defence.”

Buffy froze, even as the permanent students of the school piped up in interest.

“And just who would teach this class?” Buffy didn’t want him to say…

“You. If you agree, you will teach all fifth year students how to defend themselves, should the need arrive.”

Buffy sighed and closed her eyes.

Willow picked up her hand and gave it a squeeze.

“What about Angel?”

Dumbledore smiled and nodded in the direction of the Vampire.

“We have already asked him. He will be your partner.”

Buffy opened her eyes and met Angel’s, who gave her a small nod, letting her know she wouldn’t be alone.

Looking at her lover, Buffy grinned when she saw the pride on Willow’s face.

“Sure, why not.” She tore her gaze away from Willow and looked to the headmaster.

He smiled and stood up.

“I think that this year will be one to remember indeed.”

Part nine - NEW TEACHERS

September first came quicker than anyone had expected, and with it, came the students.

Over the summer, the Sunnydale gang, and the Hogwarts gang had become good friends, and the first thing the Hogwarts gang did, was warn the others about Draco Malfoy.

Nothing could have prepared the Sunnydale gang when they actually saw him.

Buffy and Angel took one look at the sixteen year old, before laughing.

The kid was almost a carbon copy of Spike.

“Something funny?”

Buffy turned and met his eyes, raising a eyebrow at his defensive nature.

“Do you always speak that way to teachers?”

He froze, before straightening to his full height.

“No way are you a teacher. You aren’t old enough.”

Buffy smiled, for some reason, she liked him, no matter the warnings Harry and the others had given her.

“Actually, I’m both a student, and a teacher.”

Winking, she turned and pulled the smirking Angel by the arm, dragging him over to the rest of the group, who were busy talking to Lee Jordon, a friend of Fred and George.

Malfoy frowned, but let them go without commenting.

-----

Buffy and the others were already at the Gryffindor table when the first years arrive.

They sat back, and watched as Professor McGonagall explained to them about the hat, and smiled at the look on the first years faces.

When the hat began to sing, Buffy could have sworn she saw it wink at her.

In times of old, when I was new,
And Hogwarts barely started,
The founders of our noble school
Thought never to be parted.
United by a common goal,
They had the selfsame yearning
To make the world's best magic school
And pass along their learning.
"Together we will build and teach"
The four good friends decided.
And never did they dream that they
Might some day be divided.
For were there such friends anywhere
As Slytherin and Gryffindor?
Unless it was the second pair
Of Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw,
So how could it have gone so wrong?
How could such friendships fail?
Why, I was there, so I can tell
The whole sad, sorry tale.
Said Slytherin, "We'll teach just those
Whose ancestry's purest."
Said Ravenclaw, "We'll teach those whose
Intelligence is surest"
Said Gryffindor, "We'll teach all those
With brave deeds to their name."
Said Hufflepuff, "I'll teach the lot
And treat them just the same."
These differences caused little strife
When first they came to light.
For each of the four founders had
A house in which they might
Take only those they wanted, so,
For instance, Slytherin
Took only pure-blood wizards
Of great cunning just like him.
And only those of sharpest mind
Were taught by Ravenclaw
While the bravest and the boldest
Went to daring Gryffindor.
Good Hufflepuff, she took the rest
and taught them all she knew,
Thus, the houses and their founders
Maintained friendships firm and true.

So Hogwarts worked in harmony
for several happy years,
but then discord crept among us
feeding on our faults and fears.

The Houses that, like pillars four
had once held up our school
now turned upon each other and
divided, sought to rule.
And for a while it seemed the school
must meet an early end.
what with dueling and with fighting
and the clash of friend on friend.
And at last there came a morning
when old Slytherin departed
and though the fighting then died out
he left us quite downhearted.
And never since the founders four
were whittled down to three
have the Houses been united
as they once were meant to be.

And now the Sorting Hat is here
and you all know the score:
I sort you into Houses
because that is what I'm for.
But this year I'll go further,
listen closely to my song:
though condemned I am to split you
still I worry that it's wrong,
though I must fulfill my duty
and must quarter every year
still I wonder whether sorting
may not bring the end I fear.
Oh, know the perils, read the signs,
the warning history shows,
for our Hogwarts is in danger
from external, deadly foes
and we must unite inside her
or we'll crumble from within
I have told you, I have warned you...
let the Sorting now begin.

It seemed that the hat was giving them all a warning, and Buffy frowned, thinking of its words.

One by one, every first year student was sorted into a house.

There had been talk among the older students, all of them wanting to know the identity of the Sunnydale gang.

When Dumbledore stood and clapped his hands, silence fell.

“To those of you who are second year or above, Welcome back. To the first years, Welcome to Hogwarts. We have some new Professors, Mr Giles will be the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, while Miss Summers, and Mr O’Connor will teach a new class. Muggle Defence.”

Those who didn’t know the Sunnydale gang, searched the table for the two new teachers who had not stood like Giles did.

Dumbledore smiled and motioned for Buffy and Angel to stand, which they did.

The crowd erupted, people asking why the new teachers were sitting at the Gryffindor table.

Once again, Dumbledore clapped his hands, with the same result as before.

“Both Miss Summers and Mr O’Connor are students, already sorted into their chosen house. Never the less, when they are teaching, I expect you all to show them the respect you show to us all.”

He slid a side glance at the Slytherin’s, but they took no notice.

“Now, with the threat of Voldemort-”

Students gasped when they heard the name, causing Buffy to raise an eyebrow.

“-Professor Giles is the best to teach you all Defence Against the Dark Arts. The reason for Muggle Defence, is very simple. Buffy Summers and Angel O’Conner, would you mind coming to the front.”

Buffy looked at Angel, and waited until he had stood to follow suit.

The entire hall was silent.

Dumbledore pulled the two close, and whispered what he wanted them to do.

Buffy frowned, and threw a look at Angel.

“Wont that be counter-active?”

Dumbledore shook his head.

Shrugging, Buffy walked away a few feet, and waited for Angel to make his move.

When he did, he ended up on his back for the trouble, a grinning Slayer looking down at him.

The entire student body gasped, including the Sunnydale gang.

“Come on Angel, don’t let the side down.”

He grinned and vamped out, getting the desired reaction when students screamed and drew their wands.

Dumbledore clapped his hands, and gestured for them all to sit.

Buffy and Angel went all out, pulling out all the stops, and both were panting by the end of the mock fight.

“Vampires and demons have joined Voldemort. I know that most of you don’t believe in the supernatural, but I think that Angel here has proven that Vampire’s do exist.”

“What about Buffy?” Someone shouted out.

Dumbledore smiled.

“Everything on this planet has a natural enemy. For the Vampire’s and the demons, it is the Vampire Slayer.”

For those who had heard of both demons and Slayer’s, including Malfoy, all looked at Buffy in varying degrees of awe.

Dumbledore nodded to Buffy and Angel to take their seats once more.

They did, with friendly bumping the entire way back.

Buffy sat down, and took Willow’s hand, which rested on the table.

“You were excellent.”

Buffy turned, and gave her lover a big grin, wanting nothing more than to lean in and plant a kiss on her, but refraining as they were technically in school.

Part ten - LET THE LESSONS BEGIN

Buffy scowled as she left Snape’s class. That man was worse than Snyder ever was.

“Where’s a giant snake when you need one?”

Harry, Ron and Hermione all stopped and looked at Buffy, their mouths hanging open, remembering the last time they had a giant snake to deal with.

“What?” Buffy looked from their open mouth to Willow’s smirking face.

The redhead shrugged and threaded her hand into Buffy’s.

“Lets go, you have a class to teach us.”

Buffy groaned and let her girlfriend pulled her along, unaware of the eyes watching her.

-----

Buffy groaned as she watched all the students pile in.

Finally when everyone had a seat on the floor at the back, she motioned for Angel to start.

He scowled at her, but stood up non the less.

“Okay, I’m Angel, that is Buffy. This class is designed to teach you how to protect yourself from a non magical attack.”

He stopped and stepped back, making Buffy take centre stage.

She looked at the faces, pausing on her friends, before moving on.

“Okay, who wants to volunteer first?”

The plan was for Willow, Xander, Cordy, Harry, Ron or Hermione to stand up, no-one expected Draco to.

Buffy nodded at him, and stepped back.

“Okay, attack me.”

She saw him frown, before she saw him move.

Easily, she stopped him, earning smiles from the Gryffindors of the group.

“Okay, now, what did he do wrong?”

Buffy was still holding him, one arm up behind his back. She waited a second, then let him go, please that he took his seat quietly, with only a mumble at Harry which she couldn’t make out.

Looking back to Angel, knowing that he could hear, she saw him shake his head that it was nothing sinister.

The class progressed smoothly, Giles entering halfway through to check up on Buffy.

“How about we let my Watcher speak for a little.”

Buffy grinned and took a seat, letting Giles take the class for a while.

Angel grinned and sat beside the Slayer, happy to let the focus be on someone else for a while.

Giles was fired questions left and right, everyone wanting to know what was real and what wasn’t about the Slayer, but all of the, barring Willow and the others, beings too afraid to ask.

-----

Buffy was alone for a change, the others all being in the common room.

She had gotten restless, and figured that a patrol around the school grounds would keep her occupied.

She hadn’t expected to see Draco sitting under a tree, a torch in one hand, and a book in the other.

“Hey.”

He jumped, and stashed the book underneath himself.

“Oh, its you. I thought for a second it was a real teacher.”

Buffy ignored that and sat down beside him.

“What are you doing out this late? Isn’t it against the rules?”

Draco scowled and shot her a look.

“What about you?”

Buffy shrugged.

“I’m part teacher, part student. Plus I’m the Slayer. I need to be out a night.”

He didn’t say anything to that.

“What were you reading?”

He scowled again.

“Its none of your business.”

Buffy sighed, tired of the attitude.

“Fine.” She stood up and walked a few feet away.

“Ya know, the others warned me about you. I honestly thought that they were wrong about you. Guess I was wrong.”

Draco stopped her as she went to leave.

“Why did you think that?”

Buffy turned, a smile on her face.

“Because, even the best of us are assholes in high school. I know I was. But I changed, I don’t see why you couldn’t.”

-----

Willow was sitting in a corner with Hermione when Buffy got back.

Ignoring everyone in the room but her, she walked up and smacked a wet kiss to her lovers lips.

“Hey baby.”

Willow blushed, even as she returned Buffy’s kiss.

“Hey back. How was patrol?”

Buffy smiled as Hermione moved over to make space for her.

“Boring. The only person I ran into wasn’t in the mood for talking, or fighting.” Buffy pouted.

Willow smiled and nodded to Xander, who had just came in.

“Well then, the surprise that Giles and Xander whipped up for you should help.”

Buffy’s face lit up.

“What is it?”

Willow shook her head, and Impish look on her face.

“Not telling.”

Buffy pouted some more.

Part eleven - FEAR

Giles nabbed Buffy as she was entering his classroom.

“I need a favour.”

Buffy frowned, but let him pull her away from the others.

“Sure, what is it?”

Giles nodded in the direction of the classroom.

“I want to use a Boggart, now, the students have seen one before, but I think a refresher wouldn’t hurt them.”

Buffy frowned harder.

“What is it?”

Giles paused.

“It takes the shape of your greatest fear.”

Buffy’s eyes widened.

“Are you mad? Giles, I’m a Slayer, do you have any idea about what it is that scares me?”

He sighed.

“I know, but you are the Slayer. I need them to see that, the display with Angel wasn’t enough, and there has been no actual fighting in class. You will be in no danger, a simple spell gets rid of it.”

Buffy sighed and closed her eyes.

“Fine.”

Giles smiled and patter her arm.

“Thank you.”

-----

Willow frowned when Buffy didn’t take her seat beside her.

“Class, listen up. Buffy here is going to fight a Boggart.”

Everyone frowned.

“Why sir?”

Giles looked at the faces in front of him.

“I want to give you an idea of what the Slayer can do.”

Willow, Xander, Cordy and Angel had no clue what was about to happen.

Harry leaned into Willow and whispered in her ear.

“Here’s hoping she doesn’t fear anything too bad.”

Willow frowned, and was about to ask him what he meant, when Giles opened the locked up Boggart.

Willow’s eyes widened when she saw herself standing in front of Buffy, as a Vampire.

Buffy looked behind herself, to make sure Willow was really there, before turning her full attention on the Vampire double of her lover.

She had been here before, when Anyanka had tricked Willow into helping her.

She hadn’t been able to kill her then, what was she supposed to do now?

Giles sensed her discomfort.

“Buffy, you don’t have to kill it, just show the class what you can do.”

Sighing, Buffy closed her eyes, willing her brain to come up with a different fear.

It worked, but now she saw a demon before her, one which she had only dreamed of before.

Giles’ eyes widened when he saw the Turk-Han. He had only ever saw pictures of one himself.

They were to the Vampire’s, what cave-men were to humans.

Buffy smiled. This she could handle.

As she fought, the Boggart changed into several different demons, each one she had faced before, and each one she knew how to defeat.

When Giles had concluded that the class had seen enough, he ended Buffy’s current fight with the Master, and the Boggart was once more locked up.

Buffy took a deep breath, and walked over to take a seat by Willow, who leaned into her, regardless of the fact they were in class.

“I love you.”

Buffy turned, and grinned, though it was shaky.

“Love you too.”

-----

By lunch, everyone seemed to have heard of Buffy’s fight with the Boggart, and she could hear the whispers as she passed groups of people in the halls.

She stopped before she collided with a male body.

“Draco.”

He smirked at her, and took a step back.

“Well, if it isn’t the Slayer.”

Buffy frowned. Whenever she saw him on his own, he seemed fine, but put a thug of either side of him, and he really was a mini Spike.

“What do you want? I have places to be?” She folded her arms, and smirked at the two guys on either side of him.

“Really? Where? Going to see the missus?”

A hard look entered Buffy’s eyes and she unfolded her arms.

“Actually, yes. You have a problem with that?”

He snorted, but by the look in his eyes, Buffy knew he was putting on a show.

“Never mind, I have places to be.”

She walked away, smiling to herself when he called her name.

Turning, she saw him coming up to her, a hand behind his back.

She saw him mouth the word ‘sorry’ before he drew his wand.

If she had stopped to think about it, Buffy would have questioned how she knew how to react, but she didn’t.

Concentrating on the wand in his hand, Buffy caught it in her own as it flew from his grip.

It was a toss up as to who was more shocked.

Buffy or Draco.

“Cool.” Buffy looked up, and smirked at the gaping boy.

“How did you do that?”

Buffy expected his tone to be accusatory, but it wasn’t. It was filled with awe.

Shrugging, she pointed to the thugs with him.

“Get rid of the two lackeys and I’ll tell you.”

Draco immediately turned to tell them to go on.

Buffy was laughing when he turned back.

“I don’t know how I did it.”

He scowled at her.

“I’m… sorry… about earlier.”

Buffy frowned at him.

He sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

“For a Gryffindor, your kinda cool.”

Buffy nodded in the direction his friends left in.

“So why the big show?”

“I’m a Slytherin. I’m programmed to hate Gryffindors.”

Buffy frowned, remembering the Hat’s song.

“I mean, I do hate Potter, and the rest. But your cool.”

Buffy frowned, and nailed him with her eyes.

“Have you ever tired to get to know Harry and the others?”

He shivered and shook his head no.

“Do you have any idea what my father would do if he found out?”

Buffy heard the fear in his voice, and sent him a smirk, hoping to ease it some.

“Half the fun is when they don’t know about it.” She reached out behind her, and Draco frowned, until he saw Willow take her hand.

He smiled as he got her meaning.

“Hello.”

Buffy smiled at him, he was trying.

Willow frowned, before shrugging.

“Hey.”

Turning to her girlfriend, Willow sent her a soft smile.

“Giles is looking for you.”

Buffy sighed and leaned in for a kiss.

“See you later.”

Willow watched her run off, before turning back to Draco.

“So…” She trailed off. She didn’t know him at all.

He sent her a small smile.

“She’s kinda cool.” He nodded in the direction Buffy took off in.

Willow frowned.

“She is also taken.”

He sent her a smile.

“I didn’t mean like that, though she is very pretty.”

Willow smiled.

“Yeah, she is.”

He was about to say more, when he spotted the two thugs heading back.

“You better go before they do something to you.”

Willow frowned, before looking in the direction he was.

“Okay, I guess I’ll talk to you later.”

Draco sent her a smile, before hiding it behind a scowl.

“Okay, but you really have to go now.”

Willow turned and walked off, heading down to Hagrid’s hut to meet Hermione, hearing one of the boys asking why Draco was talking to a Gryffindor.

She didn’t hear his reply, but she did wonder why he had spoken to her… and Buffy.

Harry and the others had told her how he was, so why was he bothering to talk to them, in the non bitchy way?

She let out a scream when she was grabbed from behind.

The last thing she saw before a blindfold was put on her, was the green colours of Slytherin.

She tried screaming, but no sound would come out.

She panicked as she realised that they had put a silencer spell on her.

She knew one thing for sure.

Buffy was going to P I S S E D when she found out.

Part twelve - ANGER

Buffy was pacing the common room, throwing angry looks at the window, as if all this was its fault.

No-body had saw Willow for three hours.

Not one single person. Dumbledore had searched the castle personally, but still nothing.

Something was wrong, she just knew it.

And whatever it was, Willow was caught up in it.

Harry and the others watched her, making sure to stay out of her way.

Giles, Dumbledore, Xander, Cordy and Angel all looked on as Buffy picked up the nearest object, and chucked it at the wall, shattering the cup that was innocently sitting on the table, holding Angel’s blood.

It looked liked the wall was bleeding as a result of the splatter.

“Where is she?”

Dumbledore stepped forward.

“Buffy, we don’t know that she is in any danger. She may just have lost track of time.”

Buffy shook her head and resumed pacing.

“No, something is wrong. I feel it.”

Growling in frustration, she stalked from the room, leaving Gryffindor tower altogether, Angel running to keep up with her.

Neither spoke as they prowled the halls, until Angel finally broke the silence.

“We’ll find her Buffy.”

“Yes we will, and whoever took her is going to understand that you do not want to upset me.”

“Buffy!”

The two turned to see Draco running towards them.

“What is it?”

He flinched from the tone of her voice, and also from the look in her eyes.

“Its Willow, I know where she is.”

Buffy’s eyes widened before she had him by the throat.

“If I find out that you are in on this I will hurt you.”

He gulped but shook his head.

“I head some seventh years talking. They took her into the forest.” He was shaking, and from the look in his eyes, Buffy knew he wasn’t lying to her.

Buffy set him down and looked at Angel.

“Go back and grab some weapons. Meet us at the edge of the forest.”

He took off, leaving Buffy with Draco.

She looked at him, and saw the red handprint appearing on his throat.

“Sorry.”

He nodded.

“I had nothing to do with it. If they ever found out I told you…” he trailed off, but Buffy got the idea.

“Do you know who they are?”

He nodded.

“Good.”

By the look on her face, he knew that his fellow Slytherin’s were in for a world of pain when she found them.

-----

Willow squirmed every time she heard a noise.

She hadn’t been into the forest yet, and figured that there was a good reason that it was forbidden.

Snapping her head around when she heard a noise, her eyes widened when she saw the creature before her.

If she could have, she would have ran from it in fear. As it was, she was tied to the tree behind her.

“Do not fear me little one.” The voice was smooth, yet she could detect the strength in it. This creature was a force to be reckoned with.

-----

Buffy grabbed the sword Angel handed her and marched into the forest, all her senses trained to the slightest sound, Angel following her.

Draco had been left behind to tell the others everything he knew.

Taking the less cluttered path, Buffy began hunting, knowing that most of the creatures in the forest were not that tolerant towards humans.

They had been walking for thirty minutes when Buffy spotted red. Squinting, she saw that it was her lover’s hair.

Creeping forward, she motioned to Angel to circle around the other side.

What she saw made her react on instinct.

There was a half man, half horse, with his head buried in Willow’s neck.

-----

Willow sighed when her ropes were ripped apart.

“Thank- Buffy NO!”

Buffy had jumped out at them, her sword aimed at where she figured the creatures heart would be.

Hearing Willow’s scream, Buffy pulled her arms back, only nicking the creature with the tip of her sword.

“Willow?” Kneeling by her lover, Buffy left out a breath in relief when she saw her girlfriend unhurt, though a little dirty.

“He was helping me.”

Picking Willow up, Buffy turned to the creature, seeing Angel beside him now.

“Sorry, and thank you.”

He nodded his head and trotted away.

Buffy bent her head and gave her lover a deep kiss.

“Guys, we need to get out of here.” Something about the forest didn’t sit right with the Vampire.

Buffy walked beside him, still carrying her lover and even though Buffy’s eyes never left Willow’s face, she never once tripped up as she made her way out ahead of Angel.

Not one of them noticed the snake like eyes watching them.
