EQUINOX
Their demons sated and content, the two vampires rejoiced in their happiness with tender touches and gentle kisses, joining blissfully together in love and trust.
One large and dark, one small and pale, under the watchful eye of the warm Spring moon.
They coupled sweetly, quietly, cushioned in the soft heather beneath the stars. Their bodies moved in unison, in unhurried measure, climbing slowly to their pinnacle.
There were no savage growls or brutal bites as the two unsouled ones soared to completion, crying out softly into the tranquil night as gentle fangs found their marks.
With limbs intertwined, they cling together, Angelus and William, and for a few precious moments in the fabric of time, when all are equal, they feel completely at peace and undeniably... alive.
