summary: This is all human and set in the present time in Sunnydale, CA. She is married to Angel whom is always working late afternoons and nights so Buffy gets lonely and begins to surf the internet where she begins a IM with a man named Spike.
It was late afternoon when Buffy went on her laptop. Just checking out things she logged on to slayer on aol dial up. She was aving some fun in this chat when a strange im popped up saying 27, m, CA she had not recognized the name VampSpike1. She had a thing for vampires and horror flicks ever since she could remember. But she also had been honest mostly on her profile so this probably was a perv. But earlier she and her husband, for 2 years had been into a fight so she considered just talking to this VampSpike1.
Weeks went by since their first conversation and he had finally given his number to her in which she did not really want but she did save it in a notebook she used to write favorite links into for remembering. He had sent her emailed pics of him by his self in front of his house in San Diego. A pic oof him and his dog getting ready to go for a walk. He had emailed her so many cards and sweet emails she was beginning to think she had met the sweetest guy ever. He had told her of being a editor for a publishing company in the main San Diego area.
She to had told him of her marriage and how happy she once had been but now was feeling neglected and unloved. But she had yet to give out any real personal info saying she couldn't with some lame excuse. However she began to discuss her employment which was unemployed for now since her husband didn't want her working.
Spike sat at his computer intriqrued more and more so one night he began to ask her bolder questions like what she was wearing and she answered a little shyer than other times. She finally within weeks began to become bolder with her answers by answering him truthfully and then it happened.
They had both agreed to have meet on im that monday afternoon. She logged on and he was already waiting for her.
They discussed their day and then Spike and her began to talk more serious about herself and she finally gave into the urge and told him to call her she was lonesome and dumb move she thought until she signed off and her cell began to ring.
Hello, luv, he replyed and she couldn't help but to find it nice and sweet to hear his voice finally. He was surprised at the sound of her innocent voice as she replyed hello back. For that one evening they talked for a couple of hours til she finally began to yawn and relize her husband would be home soon. He gently replyed can I call again, and she said yes.
That was months ago it was Christmas time just merely days and Buffy was already fallen for Spike even though she did not know his real name only by William and he knew her name as Buffy. Finaly she had called her husband and his secretary had been spreading a nasty rumor of cheating going on. Sure enough Buffy was devistated and unaware of the lawyers her husband had been caring on with. But when he owned up to it. Buffy immediately called her one true confidate and Spike answered.
It was finally going to happen Christmas Eve, came and Buffy ran off to meet this man named Spike at a local club called the Bronze in Sunnydale.
