Love Chain
By Suki blue
Xander lifted his head from Angel’s chest and wiggled. “Huh.”
He wiggled again. “Can’t seem to…”
Another wiggle. “Almost.”
And another. “Nearly.”
Angel stared up at the ceiling and prayed to any god that was listening that Xander would soon get tired and drop off to sleep.
“How about if I…?” Yet another wiggle. “Hold on. I’m going to try something.” A whole string of wiggles.
Clearly, no-one was listening. Or if they were, they were just having a good old laugh at Angel’s expense.
“Uh-uh. Nope. Not working. Can you move your arm?”
Where was an apocalypse when you needed one? “No.”
“How about the other one? Hang on, which arm did you mean? Because I’m kinda laying on your left one. Well, my left, not yours. Your right arm, my left. Not my left arm…”
“Xander…”
“Should I move?”
“Xander…”
“Hang on. I’ll try. Here we go. Nearly. Almost. No. We’re just going to have to face it, Gabriel. We’re chained together and we’re not going anywhere like this.”
“Actually, I thought we’d established that an hour ago.”
“No. You established that an hour ago while I gave you one of my famous disbelieving looks, remember?”
“I remember.”
“See? I’m right.”
“No, you’re wrong. I said we wouldn’t be able to get out of these chains and I was right. We can’t get out of these chains.”
“I think you’re wrong.”
Angel didn’t really want to ask, but somehow he couldn’t help it. It was like a scab on your foot. You don’t really want to pick it because it will bleed and maybe get infected, and that can only lead to pus. Yet, somehow, you just can’t resist. “How can I be wrong?”
“Because we can get out of these chains.”
Well, that was half the scab off. Now how about the rest? Can’t leave it hanging there to catch on your sock. “Xander, I’ve used all my strength to try and break these chains and you’ve…wiggled. A lot. How can you possibly still think that we can get out?”
“Exactly!”
Lord Zeus. “Huh?”
“It’s all in the we.”
“I beg your pardon?”
“We. You and me. You use your strength and I’ll use my wiggling abilities. We’ll work together.”
Angel’s sigh lifted Xander into the air and back down again. “Okay. What the hell. Anything to get us out of this.”
“Right. You grab the chains around my back and pull them as far away from me as you can.”
“And what will you be doing?”
“I’ll be trying to crawl up you – wiggle style.”
“What about the chains around our ankles?”
“Stretch them out and I’ll wiggle my feet free. Are we cool with this?”
“I suppose.”
“Good. On three. One, two, three.”
Angel stretched and pulled, making as much room as possible for Xander to slither free. If Angel would ever be prepared to admit it, which he wouldn’t, it was actually a damn good plan. The chains shifted and allowed Xander just the room he needed. One foot slipped out, followed by one arm.
Then, something hampered them.
“Angel?”
“Uh…”
“What’s that?”
“Uh…my car keys?”
“No. The other thing.”
“Uh…ignore it and just carry on.”
Xander looked down at his fellow prisoner and obliged him with another disbelieving look. “Okay. I’ll just ignore it, then.”
“Yeah, do that. Just – uh – ignore it.”
“I will.”
“Okay.”
“Good. Um, I’ll get back to what I was doing, then.”
“Great.”
Xander nodded, wet his lips and wiggled. Just a little more and his other foot would be free and then he could…
“Mmmm…”
“Angel? You do realise that I’m supposed to be doing the wiggling?”
“Uh-huh.”
“So why are you Mphr…?” Angel’s mouth closed over his and cut off the rest of the sentence.
“Just shut up for five seconds and move those hips,” Angel demanded when he finally let Xander come up for air.
“So I take it you don’t want me to ignore your…thing that isn’t car keys anymore?”
“No. I want you to focus whole-heartedly on it. Give it your best shot.” Angel lifted his hips in illustration and was pleased to note that Xander had ‘not car keys’ of his own.
“Um, isn’t this a little sudden? Not that I’m…” wiggle, “…complaining.”
“Xander, you’re a guy…”
“Last time I looked. And I have to look a lot, what with a vengeance demon for an ex.”
“Okay, so you know how it is. We’re both hot guys - red hot guys. We’re alone. We’re chained together, front to front. There’s friction. You do the math.”
“Did you get into the egg nog?” Wiggle. “Geez, this happens every Christmas.”
“Xander, baby, don’t fight this. I know you want it. I can feel that you want it.” Angel shuffled until his hands were spread out across Xander’s butt. With a push and a grind, Xander was moaning. “I thought you’d see it my way.”
“I - oh, god – totally see it your way. In fact, I’m in complete agreement. And hey – ooooh – it isn’t like anyone’s watching. And it’s just – fuck, Angel – this once.”
“Exactly – God, Xander, faster – and it isn’t like we’re doing this on purpose.”
“Totally! It’s an accident. A culmination of events that have led us to this point. It’s not like we even really want to do this. FUCK, ANGEL, I’M SO FUCKING HARD FOR YOU!”
“No, we couldn’t help this at all. I mean, we’re men. This is what happens when you chain two men together. Sometimes. Ahhh, Xander, yes. Faster, baby! YES!”
“Oh, god, Angel. Feels so good. Jesus, I want you.”
“I want you too. I love you! I’ve always loved you!”
“Oh, fuck, Angel, yes! I’ve always loved you too! Oh, god, I’m coming!”
“I’m coming too, Xander! Fuck, kiss me, baby, please!”
As their lips connected and their tongues dove into each other’s mouths, they came together with furious thrusts and desperate, pleasured screams.
“Uh,” Xander managed. “I guess we are gonna do that again.”
“I guess we will.”
“You think we’ll get rescued soon?”
“I hope not.”
Xander grinned and wiggled.

Angel slung his arm around an embarrassed Xander’s shoulders and looked over at their children. “And that was how your dad and I got together.”
“EUUWWW!!!! GROSS!!!!”
“And that,” Xander said, taking Angel’s glass away from him, “is what happens when your father gets into the mulled wine.”
The End.
