Willow and Dawn were running out of ideas of things to do, they had done just about everything they could think of to occupy themselves since the power went out five hours ago. They had started with a simple dinner and Willow had been doing research until her laptop’s battery went dead and Dawn finished all of her homework.

“Ooh…how about truth or dare?” Dawn’s eyes got excited and she sat up on the couch and looked at Willow.

“Truth or dare, Dawnie? Isn’t that kinda kiddie?” Willow had her back to Dawn and had not seen the excitement the younger girl had. Though when Willow did turn around a few seconds later saw the disappointment in Dawn’s features thanks to the 50 candles that were lit in the living room. “Aww. I’m sorry Dawnie I didn’t mean it like that. I’d love to play truth or dare. You wanna start or me?”

“Umm…you can. Truth.”

“Hey…I didn’t even get to ask….not fair. Anyway…hmm…how are your grades doing?” Willow knew that it wasn’t a very good question but it had been several years since she had played this game. Plus she was never really good at this game, she could never think of good questions to ask.

“Umm…good. I’m passing everything. Okay my turn. Truth or dare?” Replied Dawn.

The game went on like this for the next hour. Simple questions that didn’t matter and questions they each already knew the answers to. She was a little disappointed with Willows questions. She knew Willow wasn’t the type to be too risky especially with her. Willow acted like Dawn was her kid sister. And Dawn loved Willow but as a big sis.

This last year has been tough on them all. It was about 8 months since Joyce had died, 4 months since Buffy had died and 1 month since Willow, Tara, Anya and Xander had resurrected Buffy. Everything had been so difficult at first. Buffy was always making herself alone and would go out of her way to avoid the scoobies. No one else understood why she was doing that. Well, they understood to a point. Who wouldn’t understand that she was brought back from the dead where she had died and decayed, but what they didn’t understand was that she was not brought back from hell but instead she was drug out of the one place that every human strives to achieve acceptance into. Xander and Anya had separated and you never see them together anymore and when hell does freeze over, they did nothing but bicker. Willow and Tara’s relationship had had a lot of rough spots and finally when Willow’s use of magic got too much for Tara to take she left. That had broken Willow’s heart and she still had not gotten over it but she was getting there. And Dawn was the same she had always been, she had gotten accustomed to being the Key.

“Okay. Lets make this the last round Dawnie. I’m beat.”

“If I can make it through one more round. When did Buffy say she was getting back and why was she leaving?”

“She’s going to your dad’s for the weekend. She wants to see him since he never even knew that she had died. Apparently something is happening with Angel as well. A new big bad or something…but then again what else is new for this world? But she should be back in a week or so.” Willow told Dawn.

Angel had called that morning and asked Buffy if she could come down to help them deal with a situation. He didn’t really go into the details but Buffy could tell by his voice that it was big so she didn’t ask any questions. She just simply called Xander to give her a ride to the bus station and backed a bag while she waited for him to show up.

“Truth or dare?” Dawn was feeling like this game would never end. She was getting rather bored with the game. Usually when she played this game it was with friends and it always turned dirty. But she was afraid to ask something like that since she was playing with Willow. But her courage was getting up and she decided that she was going to make it a little more interesting.

“Truth”

“Okay…hmmm….” Dawn had already come up with a question but she was gonna make it look like she couldn’t think of anything else to ask. Because this was something she had been wondering for a while. “Okay…umm…whats it like to…umm…kiss another girl?”

Willow’s eyes bulged because she was not expecting that to be the question to come out of the younger girls mouth. “Umm…nice.” And that was all she was going to say but Dawn would have none of that. She wanted to know what it really was like.

“Don’t just give me that Willow. What’s it really like?”

“Well, its like kissing a guy only…different. It’s sweet, and gentle. Why ask that Dawn?”

“I couldn’t really think of anything else.” Willow could tell she was lying because Dawn’s eyes were on an invisible spot that she had been picking at since she asked the question.

Willow opened her mouth to ask a question. But just then the doorbell rang and both jumped. Willow got up from the couch and crossed to the door and opened it. There was a woman standing at the door wearing a pizza delivery outfit. She was about Willow’s height with auburn hair that went straight to the mid of her back. As soon as Willow looked at her, Willow could do nothing but stare at her. She was the hottest thing that Willow had seen in a while. Suddenly Willow realized that the other girl’s gorgeous lips were moving. Even though Willow knew that she was talking to her, she could not tear her eyes away from the full lips that kept moving and no matter how much Willow hated to admit it, just watching them move and occasionally seeing the glint of a tongue ring was really turning Willow on.

“Hey the pizza’s here. Why didn’t you just say it was here?” Dawn had come up behind Willow and was handing money to the deliverer. “Thanks.” And with that she shut the door almost hitting Willow with it.

“Geez Will. Were you just going to stand there staring at her and drool all over yourself?”

“Sorry. I didn’t know you ordered pizza. We just ate…why would you order pizza?”

“Umm…Will. We ate almost 7 hours ago. Did you not realize that is was almost 12:30?”

“No sorry. I guess time flies. Whose turn was it?”

“Mine”

“Wait no t wasn’t. I answered your truth question.”

“Yeah and you asked me why I wanted to know. That counts as a question. So truth or dare?”

“Cheater. Fine dare then.” Willow was kinda worried to say truth considering the last question. Saying dare had her a little antsy as well but at least she knew Dawn wouldn’t dare her to do anything that would be embarrassing.

Dawn was estatic, she was hoping that Willow would pick dare. She had already picked the dare incase Willow was afraid to say truth. She was a little nervous in asking but she still felt the need to. And maybe Willow would go through with it if she was still feeling horny because of the pizza delivery girl. The only readon Dawn knew that she was horny was because of the lust that had been so clear on Willow’s face when she was staring at the other girl.

“Okay…I dare you to…kiss me.”

“What? I can’t do that. I’m 21 and your 16. That’s illegal, plus you’re the sister of my best friend.”

“No one will know Will. I just want to know what its like to kiss another girl. And who better to try it out on than a lesbian. And considering I only know two lesbians, its only going to be either you or Tara. Which would you prefer?”

“I won’t do it Dawn.”

“Please, just one little kiss. That’s all I’m asking.”

“Fine. One. And that’s all. Just a peck.”

< yay >. That’s all Dawn could think before she realized that she was instinctively leaning towards Willow. Their lips touched lightly Dawn began to lean back. It was nice, just like Willow said it was. It was a simple kiss and the most innocent one that Dawn had ever had. She liked it and knew that she could get used to it. Willow on the other hand, didn’t know what was going through her. She didn’t know if it was because of the fact that she was horny or what. But she could not come up with a single reason why she was kissing Dawn.

Before she knew it she was tangling her fingers in Dawn’s hair and pulling her back to her. Their lips met again and they gently massaged each other’s lips with their own for the first few seconds. When Dawn felt Willow’s tongue run across her bottom lip, she gasped. Which gave Willow the opportunity to suck in Dawn’s lower lip and gently nibble it. Dawn moaned into Willow’s mouth < I could definitely get used to this. > As Dawn moved her hands from Willow’s knees, where they had been since the first kiss, up Willow’s sides and her fingertips brushed lightly over the sides of her breasts causing Willow to gasp into the kiss. Dawn took the opportunity to lightly run her tongue over Willow’s. At the moment that their tongues touched, there seemed to be sparks flying everywhere. A shudder ran through them both.

Willow had to stop this before it went to far. Willow gently put her palms on Dawn’s shoulders and pushed her away. Without saying a word, Willow got up from the couch and ran up the stairs to her room and slammed the door and left Dawn dazed and confused sitting on the couch.
