1 – INTRODUCTION
Angel was sitting in his chair at Wolfram and Hart, lost in his thoughts about the last sequence of events and the different turns they had made in his and his friends lives.
They had been able to save the world from the evil daemon born from Cordy and Connor …Jasmine.
Cordy hadn’t woken up from the coma she slipped in when delivering Jasmine. Angel found out that Connor knew Jasmine was evil from the get go. Connor knew and still helped her destroy everything and everyone, Angel had no choice but to … or kill his own son or take him to WH for them to arrange a solution. And so they did, WH placed Connor in a normal happy human family after erasing his memory of his father and friends, magically they also erased Connor from everyone’s mind but Angels, it was like Connor never existed. At least now he was Good and happy.
How is Angel investigations team at Wolfram and Hart you ask? This is how:
Lylah after being killed by Cordy, and found draining blood on the floor by Angelus , who stopped for a snack and got caught by Wes and Gunn, who thought Angelus had bitten Lylah and now she was going to become a vampire so they would have to chop her head off… and so Wes did.
After all this and all hell breaking loose the Angel Investigations team once again saved the planet…Lylah just walked in their office through the front door seemingly unharmed and totally normal and alive and kicking and handed them the newly reformed WH on a silver platter. In case you lost some episodes WH was totalled to the ground by the daemon Jasmine sent to prep her coming.
Returning to the Wolfram and Hart, … Lylah gave it to Angel to run the office. Wes found out Lylah was un-dead and sent to them by The Powers That Be, to soon return to them as soon as her task was done. As is understandable, at first everyone was very suspicious, but as time passed by and they were assigned to their new post of command they started to digest the idea.
Fred was in charge of the science lab, she was perplexed with the amount of things she had at hand in that lab, all for her. Wesley was assigned to the library archives and research department. He was surrounded with books he never dreamed off, this dimension and beyond.
Gunn had been brain enhanced with a lawyer’s degree; crash course plugged into his brain, and was now the head master of the Lawyers department. Lorne was head of the Entertainment Division; he seamed to be the one having the most fun.
Angel… well Angel was the big boss… sitting on a chair being bored to oblivion, with the “little” detail of Spike “beamed” in his office one night by the means of a medallion sent to Angel. Since then Spike haunted Angel and the team day and night just for the fun of it! Spike was part of the team now, he had no choice anyway, and he had become a vampire-ghost with a soul, damned to eternity magically bonded to WH. He was little by little learning how to touch material/corporeal stuff and on his free time… he just pissed Angel.
All in all everything was running as smoothly as could be expected with this group ...let’s say…different people!
