Celebrations & Relizations

Faith beckoned to Wesley from across the dance floor. Her hips swayed erotically as she danced, moving closer to him. Wesley watched her closely, shaking his head at her. Faith pouted, continuing her dance as she crept closer. When she was a foot or two in front of him when he finally smiled.
“You never give up, do you?” he asked, to which she replied with just a shake of her head.
“Should know the answer to that question, Wes.” She smiled seductively, still moving. Wesley shook his head.
“I don’t dance.”
Faith sighed and smiled. “Alright then, I’ll just hafta find someone else.” she smiled and looked to the person next to him.
The blonde vampire smiled, laughing as he punched Wesley’s arm.
“Your loss.” Spike shrugged and took Faith’s arm, leading her onto the dance floor. “C’mon, Slayer.”
Wesley smiled and shook his head as he watched the two find a spot on the dance floor. His eyes wondered over Faith’s body a moment before he searched the room, spotting his friends here and there.
Buffy and Angel were in the middle of an intense conversation in a booth on the other side of the club. Cordelia and Xander were dancing and chatting with Willow and Oz, looking absolutely fascinated with the stories of Oz’s second trip to Tibet the month before. Fred and Gunn were cuddled up in a booth, and from the look on the elder Watcher’s face, it was painfully obvious that Anya was once again annoying Giles, her husband of three months about price increases and profits of their magic shop.
He smiled and let his eyes wander over to Faith again. She and Spike were still dancing, their bodies a little too close for his liking. He didn’t know much about the style of dancing that was ‘in’ now, but from what he could see, it looked a lot like having sex- with clothes on. Wesley watched the two closely, wondering if maybe there was something going on between them that no one had known about yet.
Wesley didn’t find the idea odd. It would’ve been something that she and Buffy would have in common, and God knows they needed that. And Spike seemed to be the type of guy she’d be interested in. No, the idea wasn’t odd, he just didn’t like it.
Wesley had no doubts about having an attraction to Faith. He knew it was there, why hide it? And he thought that Faith might’ve been attracted to him. Faith sure did flirt with him a lot. And her use of sexual innuendoes seemed to come out only when they were around each other.
Faith gave Wesley a small nudge, jolting him from his thoughts. She smiled at Spike when he sat down and grabbed his beer.
“Thanks for the dance.”
Spike smiled and winked at her. “Anytime, Slayer. Believe me, anytime. You- you’ve got quite a knack for dancing.”
She nodded and looked at Wesley, sitting on the stool to his left. She looked at him oddly. “You alright? Y’look upset.”
Wesley shook his head and smiled. “Oh, I’m fine.”
Faith looked at him skeptically, narrowing her eyes playfully. “You sure?” she asked before checking her watch.
“Positive.” He nodded.
Faith sighed and let her fall limply to her side. “Damn, I gotta go.”
Wesley looked up at her questioningly. Faith smiled and pointed to the exit.
“Patrol.” She said dryly, grabbing her coat from her seat. “Tell everyone I’ll meet ‘em back at the hotel later?”
Spike nodded. “Sure thing.”
Faith nodded in thanks and gave Wesley a final look before heading out the back exit.
Spike smiled, eyeing Wesley closely. He knew there was something between the ex-Watcher and his former Slayer.
“Y’know, someone should probably go with her. Just to be safe.”
Wesley looked over at him, not quite understanding what the British vampire was saying. “Besides, Angel finds out she went alone, he’ll get all pissy. And as much as I like seeing Peaches like that, it tends to get annoying after a while.”
Wesley nodded and grabbed his jacket a little too quickly. “Y-yes, I’ll go out with her. I mean, patrol with her.” He stuttered nervously, refusing to look Spike in the face before he left through the same exit as Faith had. He hurried down the alley, hoping to catch up with the young slayer when he heard something of a struggle coming from the front of the next street over. He grabbed his stake and cautiously made his way closer, finally seeing what all the noise was.
Faith was fighting what looked to be three vampires. As soon as she’d get one out of her way and on the ground, another one would come at her.
“Son of a bitch.” He heard her yell as she finally slammed one up against a wall and staked it. She looked over and saw Wesley. She gestured to the two vamps behind her.
“A little help?” she asked, just as one of them tackled her to the floor.
Wesley jumped into the fight, slamming his fist into the face of his vampire. It growled and came at him again, kicking him in the side and punching him in the face.
Faith had managed to get her vamp off of her and was just throwing it into the wall before kicking it in the face. She pulled her stake out and dusted it before it could even look back over at her. She looked over at Wesley to see him handling his own, thrusting his stake into the vampires chest.
Faith came up to him and smiled, running a hand through her hair. “Thanks.” she breathed.
Wesley returned the smile and shook his head. “No problem.” he chuckled.
“What are you doing out here?”
“Well, I thought you might need some assistance.”
Faith looked over at the three piles of dust and shook her head, smiling.
“Guess I did.”

“I can’t believe we’ve been all over this city and we’ve only dusted three vamps.” Faith sighed as she and Wesley walked through their third park of the evening.
“I mean, usually I get a good five, six stakings in. But tonight? Three, three!” she laughed, looking over at Wesley. Wesley shrugged, returning the smile.
“Maybe they decided to take the night off.” he offered with a shrug, smiling empathetically.
Faith smiled and rolled her eyes. “Maybe.”
They walked the next few minutes in silence. Finally, Wesley opened his mouth and spoke. But as soon as the words left his mouth, he wished he could’ve taken them back.
“So, you and Spike seem to be getting along rather well.”
Faith looked over at him and shrugged. “Yeah, he’s cool.”
“Think the two of you might be heading somewhere?” he asked, wincing as he mentally kicked himself in the ass.
Niiice work, idiot!
Faith’s head snapped in his direction and she stared at him a moment.
“Me and Spike?!? God, no! He’s a vampire! And I’m not Buffy.” She laughed, eyes wide. “I cannot believe you actually asked me that!”
Wesley smiled weakly, thankful for the darkness as it hid the reddening of his face.
“Well, the way you two were dancing w-“
Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!
Faith’s eyes and smile both brightened. “You were watching us?” she asked, stopping and turning to face him.
“N-no. I was just looking around and happened to see-“
Faith shook her head, stopping him in mid-sentence.
“We were dancing. That’s it. Having fun.” She smiled and turned again, walking away from him.
“Besides, I’ve got my eyes on someone else.”
Wesley smiled before he caught up with her. “Really?” he asked, showing his interest as he fell in stride with her.
Faith nodded as she walked, not looking at him. “Really.”
He opened his mouth to speak, but she continued and stopped in her tracks, looking up at him.
“Have I ever told you that your accent is a really big turn-on?”
Wesley swallowed hard, not sure if he could speak again. But the voice in his head screamed at him Say something! and he forced himself to try and speak.
“I… n-not as of lat-“
Faith smiled and didn’t wait for him to finish. She pulled him toward her and crushed her lips to his in a harsh, passionate kiss.
Wesley responded immediately, his hand wrapping around her waist to pull her closer as he kissed her back.
Faith’s hands slid up his chest, one resting on his shoulder, the other wrapping around his neck, pulling herself even closer.
They reluctantly pulled away when they both desperately needed air. Faith smiled as she regained her breath and Wesley seemed to be in some sort of shock. He smiled back after a moment, a deep sigh escaping his lips.
“I… Faith, that… uh-“
Faith’s smile grew and she stepped closer, looking up at him. “Trouble speaking?”
“I- more like trouble thinking.” Wesley replied, only half-joking.
“Well, maybe I can give your memory a little jump start…” she purred, and kissed him again. Wesley kissed her back, wrapping his other arm around her and tightened his grip on her waist.
Faith gave his lip a playful tug and smiled against his mouth.
“This isn’t…patrol…ing, exactly.” Wesley mumbled between kisses.
“Yeah, but this kind of patrolling is more exciting.” Faith purred, pressing her hips against his.
His body responded to the movement, and he grew hard almost immediately.
Faith felt him against her and smiled, pulling away. “But, if you really wanna get back to patrolling…” she began and took a few steps away.
Wesley didn’t hesitate. He stepped forward and grabbed the brunette’s hand, forcefully turning her back around and kissing her hard. He lost his balance a little and fell back against a crypt. But he quickly moved so that it was Faith being pinned to the crypt.
Faith in turn, wrapped her legs around his waist. Wesley automatically slid his hands around her waist, hooking his thumbs though the belt loops on her pants.
Wesley kissed Faith’s jaw, moving to the dip of her neck and shoulder. He suckled at the smooth skin, letting one of his hands wander her body. He unfastened her pants and slipped his hand inside. He touched her through the cloth barrier, making her gasp.
Wesley’s hand ventured a little lower as he ran his fingers over her inner thigh. He continued kissing her neck, immensely enjoying every reaction he was getting from her. He then slid his hand past the cotton and let two fingers slide between her slippery folds.
Faith bucked against him, having not expected Wesley, of all people, to move so quickly. Her breathing quickly became irregular as her hips began to move against him.
Faith moaned his name softly as he began working his fingers in and out of her at a gradually increasing pace. A shaky moan escaped her lips as she too quickened her hips pace.

Buffy and Angel held hands as they walked passed the cemetary. They walked at a short, leisurely pace, neither talking as they enjoyed the silence.
“S’too bad Faith and Wes left so early. They missed the Cordy and Xander’s big announcement.” Buffy smiled and looked over at Angel.
Angel nodded and returned the smile, shrugging a little. “Yeah, it’s big news. Another wedding to plan.”
Buffy sighed and smiled and they both walked in silence again for a while.
Suddenly they heard Faith call out Wesley’s name and they both shot their heads towards the direction it came from.
Buffy quickly looked at Angel, raising her eyebrows.
“Think they need help?” she asked, letting go of Angel’s hand.
If Angel was capable of blushing, his face would be the shade of a cherry. He smirked and shook his head, taking Buffy’s hand in his again.
Buffy looked at him, confused. “What?”
“I don’t think they need any help. I’m… pretty sure they’re alone… and they’re-“
Buffy held a hand up and closed her eyes, making a face.
“Ugh, God! Never mind, don’t finish the sentence.” She shook her head.
Angel smiled and leaned over, kissing her softly. Buffy stifled a surprised moan and lightly kissed him back. They smiled when they pulled away and Buffy leaned her head on his shoulder.
“That was-“
They heard Faith’s voice again and Buffy shuddered against Angel.
“Oh GOD! Let’s get away from here, now.”
Angel chuckled and nodded, taking her hand in his again and leading her away from the cemetary and back to the hotel.

“…so congratulations, guys.”
ith ith and Wesley walked into the hotel lobby and looked around at everyone.
“Congrats to who? For what? What’s happening?” she asked, smiling as she descended the steps, followed by a curious Wesley.
“Cordy and I are engaged.” Xander answered, smiling brightly.
“Oh, wow. Congratulations!” Faith laughed, pulling Xander into a hug, then Cordelia.
“Yes, congratulations.” Wesley nodded, smiling. He glanced around the room, his eyes meeting Angel’s. He had a secretive smirk on his face and Wesley knew he was caught. He was about to grab him and push him into one of the offices to talk, but Angel just nodded and winked at him.
Wesley let out a sigh of relief and nodded back before turning to find Faith again. They’d decided not to say anything to anybody, and they weren’t going to hide. They were just going to let everyone figure it out for themselves.
He found her talking to Anya, and not looking too interested. As he got closer, he could hear Anya rambling on about money and Rupert and he laughed to himself.
“Sorry Anya, but I’ve gotta steal her away for a moment.” Wesley apologized and pulled Faith away. Anya shrugged and turned to an unsuspecting Tara and began rambling to her newest victim.
“Oh, I was about to slap her.” Faith laughed as let Wesley slide his arm around her waist.
Wesley smiled, “I could tell. So I figured I’d save the both of you.” They stopped and Faith turned to face him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders. “So… how should I thank you for the rescue?” she smiled deviously.
Wesley looked at her as if he were giving it thought and smiled.
“Well, I can think of a few different ways.”
Faith chuckled and moved closer. “Play your cards right… maybe I’ll thank you a few different times.” She purred and kissed him softly, not noticing the looks everyone was now giving them. Wesley kissed her back, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her closer.
When the two pulled away, everyone was silent and watching them closely. Faith smiled and shrugged.
“What?” she asked innocently.
