After Reptile Boy
I watch Buffy walk out of the Bronze, feeling a little foolish. Isn't this what she wanted?
She pauses in the doorway, and I see the slight elevation of her shoulders.
AH I think with an inward grin. She's giving me the chance to chase her again. I marvel at the insight and maturity this shows in her. A hundred fifty years ago, I would've needed it, too. Well, I'll play along, if only to prove her wisdom.
The others are talking, so I slip away, to go home and make my plans.
