CHAPTER 1
Spike and Xander Tell All...

Xander and Spike stood in front of Buffy. Today was the day--or in this case, night--that Buffy would chose one of them. Over the past week she's found herself very much attracted to both men. She couldn't explain it even if she wanted to. She stared hard at both, while Xander and Spike stared back.

"OK I don't think I can take this anymore," Xander said breaking the silence and the tension. "Spike we have to tell her."

"I don't think we have to tell her anything," said Spike, "Besides, I dun think what I felt was real."

"How can you say that?," asked Buffy and Xander in unison. Buffy glares at Xander, then back at Spike. "Huh?"

"Nothin' you should be worried about luv. Come on now, which of us do ya want?" "I think we need to tell her, Spike," Xander insisted.

"Yeah, well I don't," Spike countered.

"Buffy," Xander said and turns to face Buffy.

"Spike and I, we're in love. There, I've said it."

"Well its about time," Buffy said. "You guys fight way too much, a've've seen the way you two have been looking at eachother. So this makes my job, well less hard." She grins and walks away.

Spike glares at Xander, then grins. "I told ya, you wouldn't have to worry. I love watchin ya squirm."

Xander just grins back and walks over to him and wraps his arms around him and they walk out.

EARLIER THAT WEEK....

Buffy, Spike and Xander walk into Buffy's house after a long night of patrolling and kicking some demon ass. Buffy was bruised here and there, but nothing broken. Spike had a cut on his lip, and Xander has a cut on his forehead. They walk into the living room and plop down on the couch. Xander reached for the remote and grunted, he turns the tv on and heads straight for Cartoon Network.

"Hell ya, it's a Bugs Bunny marathon," Xander says with a big dopey grin on his face.

"Xand, could you please turn it down?," Buffy said, "I have a headache."

"Alright." Xander turns the volume down.

"Bloody 'ell nancyboy," groaned Spike, "isn't there anythin betta on?"

"Not really. Sorry Spikey." Xander grins over at Spike. "Toons are on and toons are what I like."

"Yeah well that's cuz you're a bleedin twelve year old."

"Guys," Buffy said, "please don't fight. Im not up to spanking either of you."

"Too bad, luv. I could use a bit of spankin," Spike says with a grin and winks at Xander. "Give ya hint as to what we can do later, luv?

Xander just rolls his eyes

. Buffy sits up looking at the two of them. "Look just stop fighting, ok?" Both Spike and Xander look ashamed and at the same time say:

"Alright."

"Good," and with that she lays back down.

Spike grabs the remote from Xander and changes the chanel at a rapid rate.

"Hey!...," said Xander.

"You wouldn't wanna wake Buffy, now would ya?" said Spike. "Oh lookie here, twenty-four hours of Passions on the new Soap Opera channel."

"Lucky me." Spike takes his eyes off of the TV and looks over at Xander. "You know you're pretty cute when you're angry."

Xander cocks an eyebrow at Spike. "Yeah?"

"You bet your cute ass, Xander...I love it."

"OK you're officially scareing me. But I like it..."

"I bet ya do, ya randy son of a bitch!"

"Hell ya....Hmm, you know what? We should let Buffy sleep."

Spike nods. "Yeaundsunds like a good idea. Why not come over to my place. We dun have to tell anyone."

"Alright, sounds like a plan. But if we act on our impulses...we will have to tell everyone right?"

"Well of course," Spike grins and pulls in close to Xander and kisses him long and deep, then pulls away with a grin on his face.
