Spoilers- Set Season 7 starts during Bring On The Night when the Potentials arrive. Tara never died, but she also never came back to Willow, eventually leaving town. Xander married Anya. Buffy was shot and flat lined; Dr’s brought her back. Willow never went evil, so Giles never came back to stop her, she did however become scared of using her power after nearly killing Dawn. Buffy never worked at the school.
