To Kill or Maybe Love
// I do not know where i am going with this. Just writing it and making it up as i go along. Spike has his chip removed and is set out to kill the current slayer. But he finally realizes she is in love with him as she is in love with Angel. He changes his mind and plans to get the chip back in for safe keeping. When he finally does, she tells him she is still with Angel and chooses him over both of them, what will he do, or will she change her mind...? I do not own these characters, i just use them with extreme pleasure and enjoyment. They do belong to Joss and everyone like that. Thanks for letting me borrow them Joss, i will return them as fast as possible. Ok I have written many but this is the first on i have published on the site. Hope you like. //
Buffy, Xander and Willow had taken seats in small joined white plastic chairs outside large doors. Patiently waiting for the doctor to tell them news about Dawn. Dawn had a run in with some extremely powerful demons, she got beaten up pretty badly, Buffy had just got in time, Willow, Spike and Xander following, they scared them away.
A doctor passed through the doors, they silently closed behind him, his white robes whipping around his ankles. Rng ang a hand he brushed it through his sandy coloured hair, “Miss Summers?” He called out from the doors, not really knowing who or where she was.
Buffy heard her name being called and looked up, several heads of people she hadn’t met before had to. Probably to see if it was a serious issue of anything like that. Buffy stood, brushing the dust of her clothing. Xander had wanted to stay behind so he was going to do so, he didn’t want to see the face of a loved one like that.
Buffy crossed the room, Willow close on her heels, reaching the doctor. Buffy and Willow waited for the doctors reply. ‘Serious or not?’ She thought. Looking up into the doctors’ face, Willow kept her gaze on the floor. Buffy had held it in too long, “Is she alright?” She blurted out, eyes flashing with curiosity and pain.
Willow immediately looked up wanting to know the answer to the question as well. The doctor smiled, “Miss Sus…Ros…Rosenberg. She is recovering. She has had very bad injuries” He turned and started walking down the hall once he had passed through the door, “Follow me please” He called back. Willow and Buffy exchanged extremely happy smiles.
They did as they were asked and followed, silently looking into windows of other sick and injured people, some more serious then others. Finally they reached a small room. They peered in though the glass, there she was. At first Buffy though, a life support machine, she had asked a bout that and he had just replied. ‘Encase of emergencies’ She happily accepted this answer. Her face was battered, she couldn’t see her body as the blanket was pulled up over her, she wouldn’t have been able to see it as her robes on above her naked body as well.
Willow and Buffy were told she had been badly wounded, stabbed and battered. There were bruises covering nearly every inch of her body, cuts and holes with them. Willow had gone back to Xander to tell him the good news while Buffy entered the room. The quiet beeping of the life machine beside the bed already caught her attention, she had always seen them on hospital programmes and they fascinated her for some reason or another.
“Is she all right?” A question had come from Spike, Buffy could tell by his strong British accent. He walked towards her, Buffy looked down not answering his question right away not knowing if she should, tears were welling up in her eyes.
“What does it look like?” She snapped looking back up at him, that’s when her eyes caught his, tears started running down her cheekbones spreading the heavily applied mascara and eyeliner.
“Well, not really good to me” He mumbled, raising his hand to rub her tears away.
She pushed his hand away, “Well she is going to live” She mumbled.
“That’s alright then…”
“Why are you here?”
“Isn’t it obvious, my Nibblet got injured”
“Spike, she is my sister nours, urs, she is fine you can go”
“I didn’t say she were my sister” He replied harshly. “Willow said I can come through”
“Willow? I bet Xander weren’t pleased”
“Hmmm He weren’t, but I don’t care”
“You should, go away Spike”
“No…I want to see…” He trailed of as Dawn started mumbling, her eyes opening.
“Stop bickering” Was her first words, “Thanks Spike” A small smile spread across her features.
Buffy gaped, and then smiled warmly, tears welling up, as her bruises were clearer when she smiles. “Hey Dawn”
Dawn just simply frowns, not paying attention to Buffy. Buffy sighed looking down at the ground.
Spike smirked, “Hey Nibblet, feel any better?” He asked, smiling smugly at himself as his gaze travelled over to Buffy.
Dawn grinned even wider, looking down at his beautiful face. Buffy sat watching them. “Been better, maybe a lot better” She replied, her voice soft and shaky.
Buffy watched as Spike moved beside her, Dawn wasn’t paying attention to her, she had adjusted her body so she weren’t facing Buffy but Spike. “Dawn I am sorry” She mumbled.
Buffy had got her in this trouble, she had been in a fight with Dawn and sent them after her, it may have been anger or it may have been the drugs somebody had given her at the bronze.
Dawn turned to face her with much pain scowling at her. “Go away Buffy, I don’t want to see you” She snapped, it took courage to say that but she had.
Spike smiled secretly. Looking up as Buffy stood abruptly wiping the tears away from her face and exiting out the door. “That was the right thing to do Nibblet,” He mumbled.
She didn’t sound convinced but she thought it was just her mind forcing the truth away. “Yeah it was” She grinned.
Spike smirked, he had been at the doctors and the chip was gone now. He had taken the risk and it was gone, gone for good. His first task was to kill the slayer and make it painful.
