Chapter 8
Buffy pulled back slightly,and saw the closed lids of Faiths eyes flicker,then open,searching for her.
"That was..wow" She mumbled,suprised that one kiss could knock her off her feet in such a way.
"Well we must have been doing something right,we've got a fan club" Buffy smiled,pointing in the direction of the gang,who were sat watching the couple on the dancefloor.
Faith leaned in,nibbling her earlobe and whispering. "You wana give them something to really shout and cheer about?" Before Buffy could answer Faith started kissing along her jawline,until her full,pouty lips met with soft,supple ones. Capturing her lower lip,Buffy let out a slight groan,which made Faith start to nip and bite her lip and tongue.
"Thanks for rescuing me from Riley" she breathed. "He was the KING of skank"
"Not gonna have anyone hitting on my queen except me" Faith joked,a possessive edge to her tone.
"Good to know. Can we go sit down before my legs turn to jelly?" Buffy asked,edging to their table.
"Such a pretty couple" Xander joked wen they arrived,after a quick detour to the bar.
"Yeah" Willow joined in. "Ah the beauty of young lust."
"Hey" Buffy said indignantly. "I was ot lusting over Faith out there. Just thanking her.." she trailed off. "That sentance is going to sound kinda sleazy if I say it,so I'm not going to dignify it with a response."
"Thats not the impression I got, sweetie" her 'fiancee' said,smirking. "Little miss innocent over here.." she slung her arm over Buffys chair "called me fuckable. Infact,more fuckable than that Eliza Dushku chick. And Kirsten Dunst"
"That doesn't say anything about you honey" She retorted dryly. "Just that you're slightly prettier than a flatscreen image"
"I've known you,what 12 hours and already you've shown me you care" Faith retorted. "It must be love.." She turned slightly,shifting her focus towards the rest of the group.
"Aww" Xander and Willow made cooing noises in unison,while Anya and Tara burst out laughing. "Their first lovers fight."
"They grow up so fast" Tara said,her lopsided grin making it unable for Faith or Buffy to take offence to her words.
"Damn it,I'v gotta go guys." Buffy jumped up,looking at her watch. "Said we'd be back by 11,its already 11:45" She grabbed her bag and headed for the door.
"Come on Faith" she almost screamed,a look in her eyes that would have made Faith scared for her life if she hadn't have followed.
"Already like an old married couple" Willow joked as her and Tara stood to leave.
"Right you are my dear friend." Xander quipped in his best English accent. "And you cantell who wears the pants in that relationship"
