Together again…again

Faith was the first one out of bed. Today was the day that Willow, Tara, Xander, Spike and Giles would arrive. Joyce had opted to stay home. She said she would not make a special trip and if Buffy wanted to see her she could visit in Sunnydale. Faith made a last round through the impeccably clean house. They would stay for two weeks. Faith had dry walled the basement into three small guestrooms. They weren’t much but they did offer a place to sleep. Giles was going to rent a car and drive from the airport. Buffy had taken much glee knowing that Spike would have to ride in the trunk. The brunette checked the fridge to make sure that it was stocked with enough food and blood and started a pot off coffee. When it was done, as if on cue, Buffy stumbled down the stairs.

“Nice birds nest.” Faith pointed at the large tangle of blonde hair piled on top of Buffy’s head. “Could that have been from the tossing and turning that kept me up all night?”

“I’m nervous.” The elder made a face as the coffee burnt her mouth. “It’s hot.”

“As coffee generally is.”

“Did you hear anymore about the vamp attacks?”

“There were two more. I think we just have a sneaky one on our hands.”

“Goddamn creatures of the night.” She moved herself so that she was straddling her girlfriend. “We have a few hours; you wanna go for a run?”

“Yeah…I think we need more towels. We could head into town, and maybe a few more blankets.”

“And I’m the nervous one. Who knew you were little miss hostess.”

“I just want them to be comfortable. You heard Doctor Shapiro. This is pivotal.”

“My Faithy is using her big girl words.”

Faith smirked at the mischievous girl on her lap. “I’m gonna give you a big girl slap on the ass if you aren’t nicer to me.”

“That could prove to be very interesting.”

Faith shoved a piece of toast in her mouth. “You’ve come a long way from ‘non-fat yogurt’ little one.” She looked inquisitively at Buffy who had moved herself to her knees in front of Faith.

“Whatcha doin?” She drawled with a smile.

“Eating breakfast.” Buffy answered innocently. With one swift motion she had Faith’s shorts around her ankles. She lowered her mouth and licked along the inside of her lover’s thigh. She wasted no time reaching her destination. Long stroke began to arouse the brunette as she shifted in the kitchen chair.

“B…” She hummed as she twisted her fingers in the blonde hair that she loved so much. “Hmmmm…Jesus…” Buffy worked her magic slowly. Her movements were deliberate and had a steady pace. As she sped up Faith had to work to not throw herself out of the chair. She wrapped her legs around Buffy’s neck, bring her face deeper into her pussy.

“Just like that B…Fuck you do that so well.” Buffy had a firm grasp on Faith bottom and was tilting her upward for better access to the taste that she desired. Faith had become light headed and a stream of moans escaped her lips.

“Don’t stop…almost there…eat me…B…Jesus…Fuck…” She took in one last deep breath.
”Buffy…oh god!... Buuufffyy!” She rocked back and forth along with her lover, riding out the waves of her orgasm. Faith drew Buffy into a deep kiss, tasting her own juices. Buffy regained her composer and looked at her chosen.

“So…how about that run.” They ran together up the stairs.

“Get me outa this bloody trunk!” Spike growled as he pounded on the hard metal above him. Xander and Giles got out of the car without hearing his pleas. All they could do was stare at the blonde standing on the porch steps. Willow stood speechless next to her and Tara’s sedan.

“Go see your family. I’ll handle the bloodsucker.” Faith nudged Buffy gently. She took a small step, unsure of herself, then broke into a full run into her Watcher’s arms. He squeezed her tightly and kissed her forehead.

“My lord Buffy…”

“Giles…” She began to sob. He understood.

“It’s ok child. It’s ok.” They soon welcomed Xander and Willow into their embrace. Faith moved to the car where Tara sat on the trunk.

“…So I don’t think that you’ll be able to get out until tonight Spike, what with the sun and all.” She had a mischievous smirk on her face.

“Glenda you will let me lout of here!”

“Say please Spike.” Faith stifled a giggle.

“The things I’m going to do to you when I get out of this soddin’ tomb.”

The witch smiled at Faith and stuck out her hand. “I’m Tara.”

“Faith.”

“I’ve heard a lot about you.”

“None of it was good, I’m sure.”

Tara blushed. “To me, it doesn’t matter, but to me what your doing here makes up for the past.”

“It does matter, thanks T.” She looked down at the trunk where she could hear Spike swearing vigorously. “We gotta get him out of there.”

“Spikey do you have your blankey?” Buffy grinned as she joined the twosome.

“I’m going to kill you Slayer.”

“What no hugs? We’re old friends.”

“Are you all snug in there Giles Jr? Cause I’m gonna open this bitch up.”

“You did not just call me Giles…” He was less frightening as he streaked towards the house.

“Everyone is getting settled. We’re going to meet in the living room.” Tara nodded her head and walked off to find Willow

Faith kissed Buffy softly. “How’s it going so far?”

“God Faith it is so good to see them.” She lit a cigarette for herself, then handed one to Faith.

“You know all the shit you did and they’re going to blame this habit on me.” Buffy laughed and punched her lovers shoulder.

“Yeah…”

“We better get in there. We both have graveling to do.” Both of their faces fell and they looked at each other.

“Maybe we didn’t think this all the way through…”

“Not at all.”

Faith settled in next to Buffy after getting everyone something to drink.

“So…”

Buffy shifted uncomfortably. “I guess we should talk.”

Faith sighed. “I’ll start, if you want.”

“Go on honey.”

“Ok…um…I might as well start off by saying I’m sorry…for everything. I’ve told B this and now I’m telling you…Everything I did I did because…I loved Buffy. I loved her from the first time that I seen her and I was scared and jealous and…god I was fucked up. I hated all of you because you got to know her and I didn’t…when I thought that I had messed up for good I freaked. I killed Finch and I knew that I had lost my chance. I didn’t want you guys to know that I wasn’t the tough rogue you all thought I was…I mostly didn’t want B to know that I cared so I hooked up with the mayor and…I lost everything.” Tears were sliding down her cheeks. Buffy squeezed her hand.

“When I woke up I thought that this was my chance to start redeeming myself and I found B…I found the love of my life. And I want your forgiveness…but I don’t need it because I have her and I have our son.” She smiled at the blond. “I love you Buffy.” Buffy kissed her softly. “I love you too.”

“You…You can’t just say you love her and everything will be fine Faith.” Xander sighed. “You tried to kill me…you put a knife to Willows throat…you held Joyce captive.”

“I was there so I remember. But that was over four years ago. Like I said, I’m sorry. That’s all I can give you, that and I promise I wont try to kill you again.”

“That’s it then?” Willow stared at the floor. “We’re just supposed to let it go?”

“Yes.” They all looked toward Spike. “You can march around this for years. The bird messed up, now she’s makin’ amends and all that.”

“Thanks.” Faith twisted her fingers around each other.

“Faith is sorry. You guys I wouldn’t have made it through these past few months if she wasn’t here to help me and she’s amazing with Gage. She’s been mature and…strict. She’s kept me in rahab when I wanted out. She’s had to do everything and she’s done it with a smile…”

“…except when I yell.”

“…except when she yells, but the point is Faith is the reason I’m clean…and she’s also the reason I left.” Everyone’s eyes went wide.

“I loved her. I knew it and when I stabbed her…I can’t even tell you how bad I felt. It was worse than killing Angel because she needed me and I let her down. So I left. Everything reminded me of her. Everything reminded me that…I took her away from myself. I thought leaving would help and it did for awhile and then I had Gage and I thought life would be great, but every time I looked at him I saw her and I couldn’t deal. I know I hurt all of you and I left my calling on your shoulders and believe me there wasn’t a day that I didn’t want to call but I didn’t want you to see what I’d become…”

Everyone was silent. Giles was the first to speak. “Faith, Buffy that must have been hard for you, why don’t we take a few moments and reconvene for dinner.”

“I think that’s a good idea Giles.” Spike, Faith and Buffy headed out to porch to take in fresh air and a pack full of nicotine.

All three released a sigh of release with their first puff.
