Chapter 9

Buffy carried Faith down the stairs while Faith kept her eyes closed. Buffy then put Faith on her bed which had been placed partly under the stairs. This way if some demon came down the stairs Faith would be able to surprise it by grabbing the feet and making it fall.

“Ok Faith, open your eyes.” Buffy said excitedly.

Faith opened her eyes and looked around, completely stunned. She was sat on her two-person bed. At the end of it there was about 1.5 meters space between it and a closet which was placed against the wall, probably for her clothes. Next to it there was a bookshelf which was filled with books on demons, fighting styles and weapons.

A cupboard was attached to the bookshelf above it. Faith didn’t know what it was for but she was sure she would find out later.

The wall which was seen first when walking down the stairs was Faith’s favourite wall. It was filled with weapons, swords, knives, a crossbow even the knife given by the mayor was on it.

The floor looked like one big mat from a training room which gave Faith the opportunity to work on some of her moves down here without getting hurt. There was a hook attached to the ceiling which Faith didn’t know what was for, as soon as she saw a punching bag in the corner though it was quite obvious.

Basically the room was a mix of a training room and a bed room, it was perfect for Faith.

She looked at Buffy who was sitting next to her.

“Wow… This is so fucking amazing……” She looked around the room again before turning back to Buffy.

“You did this for me?”

Buffy just nodded, very pleased with Faith’s reaction.

“Yeh, the gang helped out though. Xander did the weapon thing and made the closet and cupboards. He’s becoming quite the handyman. Willow and Tara have done a protection spell around the whole house. Shouldn’t be that easy for demons to attack now. So you like then?”

Buffy was still a bit nervous, she didn’t know why, Faith obviously loved it.

“Hell yeh. I love it. I got my own place now ya know, a place to call home. You have no clue how much that means to me.”

Faith looked Buffy in the eyes to show her that she meant it. They kept on looking at each other and time just seemed to stop, they slowly moved their heads closer to each other.

Buffy was a bit nervous but continued to lean towards Faith, it just felt so right.

Just as their lips were about to meet Faith backed off. She sat up straight again liked she had just the moment before.

“Shouldn’t we get to Giles? If we come any later than we already are they’ll probably think I killed you and send out a search team.”

Buffy looked at Faith a bit confused, why had she done that? She ruined the moment they had on purpose. When Buffy tried to look Faith in the eye she saw that it wasn’t possible, Faith was looked at anything but her.

“Don’t think that they would do that but you’re right, we should get to Giles.”

She got up, still confused but did what they came here to do in the first place. She got a bag and put some of Faith’s clothes in it to keep at the dorm. Then she helped Faith.

“I really appreciate this you know, a second chance and actually giving me a place to live. It means a lot to me.”

When Faith said that Buffy understood why Faith had pulled away, Faith didn’t want to ruin anything between them now when they had just started over.

“I’m just happy that you are willing to take this chance.” She smiled at Faith.

“Before we leave. Can I just ask you something?” Faith looked very serious.

“Yeh, sure.”

Faith still looked very seriously but couldn’t keep her face straight any longer and cracked a smile. “What’s in the cupboard above the bookshelf?”

Buffy shook her head, she didn’t know what she’d expected but it hadn’t been that. “It’s a TV. Mom and I figured you’d want one in your room, it had a built in DVD player. Your play station isn’t installed down here, it’s in the living room. You have a PS2 instead.”

“No fucking way! A play station 2 came out while I was in a coma? How come you didn’t tell me this straight away? That shit is important!”

Faith looked at Buffy in mock anger but again couldn’t keep a straight face and just grinned. Buffy laughed and just shook her head again as they continued their way up the stairs and towards Giles.

*********************************

When they arrived at Giles’ the other were there already. As they walked inside all eyes turned towards them immediately. Tara and Willow had already talked to Faith so the just smiled to each other.

Xander and Giles were a bit more cautious. Anya didn’t really care that much as long as Faith didn’t try to take Xander away from her. she had become very protective of Xander and didn’t like sharing.

“Hey guys…” Faith said but Xander didn’t reply. She could hear a faint “Hello Faith” from Giles while he was cleaning his glasses.

Buffy closed the door and then lead faith further into the room where everyone was seated, she sat down on the couch whole Faith positioned herself next to the couch to be close to Buffy. Faith then took a deep breath before speaking.

“I just wanted to tell all of you that I’m sorry about what happened before, things just got way out of control ya know and I really wanna make up for that. I’m very thankful that guys are giving me an other chance, I know that it isn’t going to be easy but I really want to make this work.”

Buffy was holding Faith’s hand for support, which Faith appreciated a lot.

Giles did his infamous routine of taking off his glasses, cleaning them for some time while thinking and then putting them on again.

“Well Faith, I believe that you aren’t the only one who should be apologizing. So should we. We could have prevented most of this from happening if we’d truly been there for you. I believe that the Gwendolyn Post fiasco did not help matter. Neither did Wesley’s methods. I hope you accept my apology and I am happy to give you this second chance if you are willing to give me one too.”

Faith smiled widely at Giles, she couldn’t remember time where she’d been as happy as this with the gang around.

“Same goes for me Faith. I agree with the G-man over there. I do want you to know that I don’t trust you yet. You’ll have to earn it.”

“No problem. I really appreciate all of this.”

now that the apologies were out of the way they started the real meeting and filled faith in on the latest threat, Adam.

Halfway through the meeting Riley showed up with some more information, information which was very helpful. It was the sketches and diagrams of Adam that had been used to build him. It showed what demons they had used and how he functioned.

They had actually found out how to stop Adam, all they had to do now was find out where Adam was hiding out, when they would do it and how they would do it. Adam’s life source was on the inside of his chest and it wouldn’t be easy to remove it, it wasn’t as if Buffy could ask Adam to stand still while she was removing his life source.

After they had gotten this info they decided to take a break. Xander and Anya left to get donuts, coffee, and whatever else had been asked for. Giles was getting some tea and Buffy had fallen asleep on the couch. Tara and Willow were keeping themselves busy with smoochies. Faith decided to roll outside to smoke a cigarette. Just as she had lit it she heard a voice behind her.

“Those things will kill you, you know.” Riley walked past Faith and sat down opposite of her.

“I’m a slayer, we don’t usually live that long anyway and it’s most likely that I’ll get killed by some demon.”

“You’re the other slayer then, was wondering who you were, I just figured you were Buffy’s cousin or something. I’ve heard a lot about you though.”

“Can’t say the same about you. Only thing I’ve been told is that you can’t take a hint, no matter how obvious it is.”

Riley frowned, he always thought that he was good at those things. He was agent Riley Finn, he was supposed to be good at everything.

“Did you want something?” Faith asked annoyed. Riley didn’t reply so she dropped her cigarette on the ground and was about to roll inside again when Riley stopped her.

“Would you like to go out sometime?”

“So not interested Farmboy.” She moved away again but was stopped for a second time.

“I don’t mean with everyone, just the two of us.”

“I got what you meant wannabe slayer. I’m not interested.”

“Like a date you know.” It was as if Riley wasn’t hearing a word Faith was saying to him. Faith turned around with an annoyed expression on her face.

“God how fucking dumb can you be? B was right, you really can’t take a hint not even if it bit you in the ass. I’ve just told you twice that I’m not interested and I’ve pretty much been ignoring you since you walked in like 2 hours ago. Fuck off Beefstick.”

With that Faith went into the house, leaving a very stunned Riley behind. ‘There’s clearly something wrong with her. I mean she’s turning me down. Buffy did that too. Maybe it’s a slayer thing, or maybe I’m too much for them to handle.’ When he’d convinced himself that this was true he went back inside, told the gang that he was going, grabbed his coat and left. He was going to find a girl who wouldn’t even dream of saying no to him.

The rest of the afternoon the slayers didn’t actually do much, they were both exhausted. Faith because she still had to get used being awake and moving around. She’d fallen asleep a few times in her chair so Xander decided to carry her into the guestroom and so that she could sleep properly. When he saw how weak she was he couldn’t help but to feel sorry for her.

Buffy had barely slept since they found out about Adam and his escape, this lack of sleep and major stress was finally taking its toll on her. Xander convinced her to just sleep as well and brought her to the same bed as Faith.

*******************************

Weeks went by but the gang still hadn’t been able to get rid of Adam, there were two reasons for this.

One; To defeat Adam one would have to know where he was. They hadn’t seen or heard anything from Adam for a long time. this worried them all because it meant that Adam was planning something bigger than they first had assumed.

Two; Faith wasn’t in shape to do big fights yet. She could walk and went on patrols with Buffy but she wasn’t ready to take on Adam. Neither was Buffy, but Faith had more time than Buffy to train so whenever Faith was at the magic box or in her room at Revello Drive she would train. She was training for hours, she was getting stronger but she wasn’t as strong as she used to be yet.

Giles had bought the Magic Box after the previous owner had been killed by an other vampire attack. Xander, who had quit his job at the local bar and had gone into construction instead, had built a training room in the back for the slayers. They used it quite a lot, Faith whenever she had time and didn’t have to research, and Buffy when she got out of class at the end of the day. They sparred quite a lot as well improving their techniques.

That Faith was able to walk seemed quite sudden to the gang, it wasn’t though. Faith had been going to a physiotherapist since the week after she had come out of her coma. She went there 3 times a week because she wanted to be able to walk, she had never been known for a patient person and she wasn’t about to change that now. First she wanted to go everyday but the person who was helping her told that it wouldn’t be such a good idea, it would have been too strenuous. She was taught exercises which helped to speed up the recovery. Faith always made sure that when she did those exercises and when she went to her appointments that Buffy was in class, she wanted to surprise everyone, she wanted to do something without the help of the gang for a change.

After a week of physiotherapy she could walk alone to the bathroom and take showers on her own, she didn’t tell Buffy about this though, she enjoyed shower-time. The gang found out about it about a week after Faith had learned to walk again. Once Faith was walking through the room when Buffy got back earlier than expected.

***Flashback***

Faith wanted to do some Thai Chi so walked over to Buffy’s CD player and put on her Enya CD which Buffy had found in her old apartment. Faith had sold that apartment since she wasn’t going to use it anyway.

As she started the first movements the door opened, since faith was focusing on her movements she didn’t notice Buffy walking in carrying a few books. She lost her concentration though when she heard something being dropped on the floor. As she opened her eyes she could see Buffy bending down to pick up the books, putting them on the table and then turning around to go to Faith.

“Oh my god! You’re walking!” Buffy smiled while walking towards Faith.

“Yeh, just wanted to work on my Thai Chi.” Faith grinned.

“Faith, this is huge! You’re walking. You can walk, you’re not using the wheelchair.”

“Yeh B, I know. It’s kinda hard to do Thai Chi in a wheelchair, thought I’d do it standing instead ya know.” Faith was still grinning.

Buffy decided to ignore the sarcasm, “When did this happen? Just now?”

“I’ve been seeing a physiotherapist for the past 2 weeks. She’s been teaching me how to walk again. I’ve been able to walk for 3 days now, it’s getting a lot better. I can walk all the way to the Espresso Pump. I wanted to surprise you with this ya know. You guys with it.”

Buffy hugged Faith tightly and then loosened it a bit to look at Faith, Faith wrapped her arms around Buffy’s lower back.

“Now I have to look up again. I was getting used to looking down to see your face properly.” Buffy fake pouted which Faith thought was adorable. She loved Buffy’s pout and whenever she saw it she just wanted to kiss it.

Buffy smiled again, she still had her arms around Faith’s neck while Faith was still holding Buffy.

“I’m happy for you. This is great. Maybe we can start training soon as well. I’ve missed our trainings you know. You just know how and when to push my buttons, you get the best out of me.”

Faith looked Buffy in the eyes, when ever she did that she could feel herself falling in love with Buffy all over again.

“I know what you mean. You bring the best out of me too.”

They both knew that Faith wasn’t only referring to sparring with Buffy with the way she was looking at the blonde slayer.

She lowered her head slowly towards Buffy and met her lips softly. Buffy returned the kiss cautiously. After what seemed like an eternity to Buffy which in fact hadn’t even been a minute Faith pulled away roughly.

“Fuck! Fuckfuckfuckfuck!” She stepped away from Buffy and started pacing.

“Faith” Buffy said softly to calm her down and figure out what just happened. Faith didn’t react though and kept on mumbling to herself while pacing. Buffy only got fragments of what she was saying.

“………stupid………fuck………kiss her…… fuck!”

“Faith” she said a bit louder, this time she did get Faith’s attention.

“What’s wrong, what just happened?” Buffy asked softly while slowly moving closer to Faith.

Faith looked at Buffy, “I just kissed you. Why are you so calm, shouldn’t you be kicking my ass right now?”

Buffy moved closer again and hugged Faith. She felt Faith tense as she was being held. Faith then moved her arms around Buffy, still a bit tense though.

“Relax Faith, it’s ok, really. I’m not gonna kick your ass or anything.” She felt Faith relax as she was talking. “Can you tell me why you freaked out?” Buffy asked while still holding Faith. She heard Faith mumble something against her neck but couldn’t make out what she’d said. “What was that?”

“I’m scared.” Faith said a bit louder but still in a whisper.

“Scared of what?” Buffy moved them onto the bed so that they could lie down while holding her. the standing was getting a bit uncomfortable. As they laid down Buffy stroked Faith’s hair, wanting to calm her down and put her at ease as much as possible.

“Scared that I’m gonna lose you ‘cause I kissed you.”

Buffy kept on stroking her hair, soothing her, “you’re not gonna lose me Faith, we’re friends, you kissing me isn’t gonna change that.”

Faith felt like she’d been kicked in the gut. Why couldn’t Buffy see that Faith didn’t wanna be friends? She wanted more than that and by the way Buffy had been treating her she thought that Buffy felt the same way.

Buffy and Faith had gotten a lot closer in the past few weeks. They were much better friends than they had been the previous year. They talked about pretty much everything, their fears, their dreams, Buffy had even gotten Faith to talk about her childhood. That had been one of the hardest things ever for Faith but afterwards she’d felt better knowing that Buffy didn’t think any less of her and was helping her deal with it. Faith had pretty much told Buffy everything there was to know about her, even her last name. The only thing that she’d kept hidden was how she felt about her fellow slayer.

Faith got up and decided that it was time to tell Buffy how she actually felt.

“Buffy, I don’t want to be friends with you.”

As soon as she said that though she could see that she’d said the wrong thing and as she re-played the words in her mind she understood why Buffy had misunderstood.

“No, no, wait. I didn’t mean it like that.” Buffy relaxed a bit and waited for Faith to explain what she’d meant. Buffy could see that this was a hard thing for Faith to do, whatever it was.

“What I meant to say was that I don’t want to be just friends. I want, ” ‘Fuck! Why does this shit have to be so hard?’ Faith looked down at her hands, took a deep breath and then looked at Buffy again.

“I want us……I want us to be more than just friends. Like girlfriends you know, I want what Red and Tara have. I want to have that with you.”

Faith could see that Buffy was processing everything she’d just said and waited for her response.

She saw Buffy’s face expression change from confused, to a bit more thinking and then surprise. Faith heard the tiniest sound which she just thought was adorable, but not right now, she was too scared to think it was cute.

“Oh” Buffy sat up a bit straighter while still thinking about what Faith had just told her.

“How long, how long have you felt this way?”

“Since that time we met outside the Bronze last year.”

“That long?” Faith just nodded. A look of understanding crossed Buffy’s face. Most things Faith had done last year got a lot clearer, the innuendos, the flirting, Faith almost killing Angel.

“I don’t really know what to say Faith. I’m flattered that you feel this way about me, but I need some time to think about this you know.”

“Yeh, I get it. I’ll go out for a bit, give you some time.” Faith got her crutches in case she needed them. Just as she opened the door she was stopped by Buffy calling her. she closed the door and turned around.

“Yeh?”

“I’ve thought about what you said. And I have to be honest, I want that too. I’m tired of all the flirting and the innuendos, we’re not getting any further than that. I want us to go further than that. I want the same as you do.”

“You figured out all of that in less than 5 minutes?” Faith asked sceptically.

“I haven’t just been thinking about this for the past 5 minutes, I’ve been thinking about this since I put you into the coma. Now that you’ve said that you feel what you feel there’s nothing stopping us.”

Faith got out of the chair and walked towards Buffy, she kissed Buffy softly again and this time she didn’t pull back like she’d done before.

***End Flashback***

Oh yeh, it was also the day Buffy and Faith got together.

They decided to walk to Giles, just to surprise the gang. Faith did bring her crutches in case she would need them.

Buffy and Faith also had their first date that evening, since Faith had never done this before she’d asked Willow for help. Willow had suggested a picnic at a spot that was special to Faith, something she could share with Buffy. This was something Buffy would appreciate. The spot Faith had chosen was at just outside the city limits on a hill. From this hill you could see Sunnydale on one side and the sea at the other, Faith had chosen to go there with Buffy before the sunset so that they could watch it together. It had been a very special night for the both of them and a perfect first date.

Faith and Buffy had told the gang that they were together at the end of the meeting that day. They all decided that this and the fact that Fait could walk was a perfect cause to celebrate at the Bronze the next day, even Giles joined them for a while.

Though when the chosen two had told the gang about themselves they hadn’t looked very surprised, not even Giles. They had figured out themselves that Faith liked Buffy the year before already. While Faith was in a coma they found out that Buffy felt the same way, she had just realized it a lot later.

The scoobs had no problem with it, as long as they were happy and it didn’t affect the slaying. Telling the scoobs had been relatively easy because of Willow and Tara. Telling Joyce was harder for the two slayers.

Joyce had become like a mom to Faith so Faith really didn’t want to disappoint her in any way.

***Flashback***

“Mom, you home?”

“In the kitchen.”

Buffy and Faith walked into the kitchen holding hands, they were both nervous and just wanted to get this over and done with.

When Joyce turned around she could straight away see that they wanted to tell her something big. She sat down and waited for the news the two girls had for her.

“What is it girls?” she asked when they made no attempt in talking.

“It’s about B and me. We… uh… we…”

“We’ve decided to give ‘us’ a shot. As in being more than just friends.” Buffy finished for Faith.

Joyce smiled at the both of them, “ok” she said, then got up and continued washing the dishes.

Faith looked at Buffy and saw the same confused look on her face she expected to see in a mirror, they then got up and walked to Joyce.

“ ‘ok?’ was that it? Aren’t you freaking out? Aren’t you supposed to make some kind of threat?” Buffy asked.

“Why should I make any threats? I know Faith and I know that she wouldn’t hurt you on purpose. I’m not freaking out because I had to deal with a 200 year old boyfriend before. Faith isn’t a vampire, that’s a huge plus.” She smiled at the both of them again seeing their surprised faces. “Besides, I thought that you two were a couple already.” At this the chosen two looked even more surprised.

***End Flashback***

“Come on Faith! You can do better than that, I know you can.” Buffy kicked Faith again but was blocked this time.

The two slayers where in the back of the magic box, they’d been training for 2 hours and Faith was getting more tired with every blow.

“B, you know I’m not as good as I used to be. I’m doing my best here.” She tried to sweep Buffy’s feet but she jumped up to avoid it. Faith had been expecting this so she did a quick punch in the gut to unbalance Buffy, when Buffy landed on the ground, still standing, Faith did a side kick which made Buffy lose her balance completely and fall right on her ass.

“Come on B! You can do better than that, I know you can.” Faith mimicked Buffy’s words from before.

“Lets just stop for now, I’m fucking tired. Don’t think I can use my feet anymore.” Faith walked around a bit clumsy just to prove her point. “Not falling for that Faith, I know you can walk just fine.” Faith stood up straight, stuck out her tongue to Buffy and then took a sip of her water bottle. She then emptied the water bottle over her head to cool down a bit.

This was Buffy’s favourite part of training, she watched as the water made its way down Faith’s body, soaking the already wet tank top Faith was wearing.

Faith looked over at Buffy and could see the desire building in her. “Like what you see girlfriend?” she cocked up her left eyebrow while asking.

“Always.” Faith walked over to Buffy slowly and lifted up Buffy’s chin. She then leaned down to kiss her girlfriend.

The kiss was slow and filled with the passion they had for each other. Faith put her hand on Buffy’s stomach and was tracing random patterns, she was slowly moving her hand upwards to Buffy’s breast. While Faith was doing this Buffy was rubbing Faith’s back and went down to her as causing Faith to moan. As Faith was massaging Buffy’s breast she moved down to kiss her neck as well. Faith loved marking Buffy, that way everyone could see that Buffy was spoken for. After a few minutes of groping Faith pulled away again, they hadn’t had sex yet, only a lot of groping sessions, Faith didn’t want their first time to be in the training room behind the magic box. It just didn’t feel right.

If it would’ve been any other person Faith wouldn’t have cared, but this was Buffy so she wanted to make it special.

“Soon B, I promise. Just not yet and not here.” Faith was actually scared of having sex with Buffy because she knew that it would be more than just sex, it would be making love. She had never done that before so she was mentally preparing herself for it. Faith knew that Buffy would teach her how to make love but right now she just wanted to keep it to groping sessions, sex would come later.

Buffy knew that Faith felt this way because they had talked about it before, Buffy was more than willing to wait until Faith was ready. Faith had never been in a relationship so they both wanted to do this just right.

“Come on, we have to plan how to defeat Adam. We’ve found out where he’s hiding out so we want to surprise attack him before he sets his plans in motion.”

Faith followed Buffy into the magic box, she walked a bit behind Buffy just so that she could enjoy her girlfriends ass.

Buffy turned around when she felt Faith staring at her.

“Like what you see?” Faith just grinned, “Always B, always.”
*****************************

Giles looked up from his book when he heard the two slayers enter the shop. He asked for them to sit down so that he could tell the gang about his new discovery.

“I have been looking at different spells that would help to defeat Adam as you all know. I think that I have found one which will be perfect for this. It is a very advanced spell so it will be slightly dangerous but if we all do it right there is nothing to worry about. It is an adjoining spell. With this spell all of our powers will be combined to the one fighting Adam, this will probably be Buffy since Faith isn’t fit enough yet. We have more than enough people to do it.

“We also have everything we need here in the shop, we know where Adam is. In fact, there is nothing stopping us from attacking him. I want everyone here to go over their part of the spell. Willow, Xander and I will be doing it. Tara and Anya will be protecting us while we do it, it’s a dangerous and volatile spell. They have to do the protection spell first before we do the adjoining spell. Faith will go with Buffy, in case there are other demons where Adam is, this way Buffy will be able to focus on Adam while Faith is taking care of any demon there.”

Giles gave Xander and Willow their part for the spell. They had to know it by heart and had to know how they were supposed to perform it. He also gave Willow an other sheet of paper with the background information about the spell, he knew that Willow and Tara would want to know what kind of spell it was.

He then gave Anya and Tara a few spell books with protection spells in it, he would let them decide which ones to choose. Then he turned to Buffy and Faith.

“You two better rest a lot tonight, we will go to Adam’s lair tomorrow, I want the both of you to be at your best then. Faith you know you need to rest, there will be a lot of fighting tomorrow I imagine. Buffy, make sure that faith eats well and rests, I want you to do the same though.”

He smiled at them both when they nodded. They went to the training room again and came out of it a few minutes later with their things. They then left the magic box to go home, they went to Revello Drive since it was closer, it also meant that they wouldn’t have to make a detour to get weapons the next day.

The rest of the gang stayed in the magic shop, looking over the things they had to do. Tara and Anya started researching straight away while Willow was looking into the history of the spell they were going to do. Xander read through his part of the spell.

*************************

Buffy snuggled up to Faith when they went into bed. They had both finished showering and were now going to watch some movie while lying in Faith’s bed. ever since they started dating they hadn’t slept a night apart, here they either slept in the basement together or in Buffy’s room. Usually it was Faith’s room though, if they had one of their groping sessions Joyce couldn’t hear them. If they had been in Buffy’s room chances were bigger of getting caught.

“What movie is this B?” Faith asked as she held Buffy closer to her while playing with her hair.

“It’s Legally Blonde.”

“What?! Come on B, we’ve seen this so many times already. The ending isn’t gonna change. Can’t we watch Gladiator instead?”

Buffy looked up at Faith with a frown, “Faith, we’re gonna go fighting tomorrow, we don’t need a fighting movie to see action and blood all over the place. Besides, you like this movie as much as I do.”

“For different reasons B, don’t need to watch this movie anymore, I already have a hot blonde close to me.”

“You’re so sweet Faith. Now be quiet, it’s starting.” They both got more comfortable under the blanket. Buffy was actually enjoying the movie while Faith was enjoying watching the blonde who was stuck to her side. She smiled to herself as she thought of how much she actually loved Buffy. Faith kissed the top of Buffy’s head and then settled for watching the movie as well, she didn’t watch it for very long though, she fell asleep after 10 minutes of watching.

Buffy looked up to see Faith sleeping and smiled, she turned off the movie knowing that now faith was asleep it wouldn’t take long before she joined her girlfriend. She put her head back down, listened to Faith’s heart beat and slowly fell asleep too.
