Part 8a ~~ He's Back
**~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~**
As Xander lay on Buffy's bedroom floor bloody and broken. He could soon hear someone speaking in soft soothing tones and a low possessive growling in response.
The moment Angel's soul left his body, Buffy knew. She then immediately pulled Angelus off the boy knowing that if she did nothing her fellow Scoobie would soon perish. She pulled her vampire into her arms and began stroking his brow in a soothing manner. Eventually the demonic ridges receded and the low possessive growling became one of approval.
When the soul left the body and Angelus was in control again the first and only thing that registered in his mind was that someone was attacking him and his mate. The one and only reflex was to attack and to protect HIS mate at any cost. In the distance as he regained some semblance of control he could hear his mate whispering to hi

Buffy looked down at the man who had his arms wrapped around her waist his head cradled against her breast she continued to whisper to him. "Shhh, it's alright....it's alright…be still Angelus...it's alright now..." He glanced up at his woman knowing that they were both safe he once again settles back against her breast.
Now the soft whispered tones have stopped and just a low purring now the only sound that permeated the silence in Xander's mind. The only thought running through the boy's mind now was to get away...far away!

Willow now on the passenger side of Giles car began relay her conversation with Xander. ".ah, ah, so Xander said that he'd meet us there and hopefully get Buffy out before Angel pulls his Jekel and Hyde act."
Giles now turned sharply toward Willow all the while trying to keep his also on the road. "What do you mean Xander is going to try and get Buffy out?'
Willow's face scrunched up in confusion and replied "Well exactly as it sounds. He's going to try and get Buffy away from Angel..." before she could finish Giles let loose a curse and hit the accelerator.
