Part 1
Chapter 8 part 1
Xander had been researching for a while when Spike came in, “Well pet, Me and the Pouf are heading out, that ex-bird of yours called, apparently she gets visions, and she got one about some demon after a kid. Need a bit o’ violence, I do.”
“But the Chip!?” An alarmed Xander asked.
“Interesting thing that. When I went out the other night to get things ready for us, a damn fledge was getting on my nerves, so I risked the headache to dust um. Surprise, surprise, no pain, so I tested the chip and it turns out its only humans that I can’t hurt.” Spike explained as he slowly got closer.
“Oh…well that’s good then, I guess.” Xander began biting his bottom lip’ “Um you didn’t actually bite anyone, did you?”
“Nah, just pushed some block down when I walked by him, bloody thing didn’t like it one bit. Had a nasty pain for a good couple minutes.” Said the distracted vampire. His eyes focused on his mates reddened pouty lips.
Finally it became too much and what little self control he had flew out the window. Spike grabbed the back of Xander’s neck and pulled him into a mind melting kiss. Xander was too shocked to do anything about the kiss but give in to the demanding lips. Air eventually became a problem and Xander had to pull away.
“Damn it Spike…I told you to stop that.” Xander said breathlessly.
“No you didn’t, just said I couldn’t wake you up like that anymore. Weren’t asleep now were you?” answered the smug vampire.
“Gah, that’s not what I meant and you know it!”
“Sorry pet but you are just to nummy for me not to want to kiss you.” For emphasis Spike placed a chaste kiss on the brunette’s lips and quickly headed for the door.
“ Stupid vampires, with their kisses and no breathing,” Xander muttered. “Hey wait up! What did you find out about the baddy that mad you take me away? I am having no luck so far and maybe if I had a direction I could get further along.”
“Hmm…alls I know is that there is three of them, and they don’t like sound. Sorry that’s everything I know, pet.” With that he was out the door.
A/N So like the chapter title says this is part 1 of chapter 8. I've had a busy weekend so my plan to write out chapter 8 and 0 went out the window. My brother and his family came to visit. They have five children total so it makes it difficult to write slash when either a 12, 8, 7, or 5 year old asked what Im wrighting or just reads over my shoulder. Not to mention the number of times my name has been called, so they can get my attention. Right now I am holed up in a small bedroom on my laptop, so I can get some peace and quiet. The second part of chapter 8 will be up on tuesday, and Chapter 9 will be up either Friday or Saturday.
Now then a question/poll: who should I set up Angel with? It can be slash or het but I won't put him with Gunn. I just can't see it working out.
