The Wedding

“Crowley just told me to come…Said the Hell Mouth’s guardian couldn’t fulfil her duties. Didn’t tell me she was pregnant though.” Robin said with a shrug.

“I can’t believe it’s tomorrow man. Aren’t you just a little freaked? I mean Man! You come back and Buffy’s pregnant and you’re getting married?” Xander asked in a high pitched voice.

“Well, you know when you and Buffy first got together you’ve got to admit you didn’t have that much credibility, and I was jealous. I thought I was in love with Buffy and I didn’t think you deserved her. But seeing how you’ve changed…I see why you two are a perfect compliment to each other.” Xander finished realizing he really did believe it.
“Ok mate you convinced me.” Spike said with a chuckle. Spike was glad Buffy had friends who loved her and watched her back.
Giles smiled to himself before walking into his living room after just eves dropping on their conversation. Where his almost son-in-law Vampire was sitting with one of his almost daughter’s best friends. Yes all in the world would be right for Buffy’s Wedding tomorrow.

All of the guests had been seated. They were just awaiting the bride’s entrance.

Spike was calmly standing, watching the door. Xander kept looking at him nervously. “Calm down mate, don’t want to have to pick you up off the floor.” Spike said.

In this life or any other.” Spike said as he placed the thin gold band on Buffy’s wedding ring finger.
Buffy felt tears sting her eyes. “Spike…You are my Champion, you are my Warrior, You are my Sun and my Moon. You are everything; I am nothing without you. I love you so much. I promise to love you like this forever. I promise to always believe in that love. I promise to be everything that you need. Whenever you need it. With this ring I thee Wed and Mate myself to you for as long as I am. In this life or any other.” Buffy said as she placed the Gem of Amara on Spike’s wedding ring finger.
“You may now kiss your Mate.”
Buffy and Spike leaned in to kiss each other and Both pulled away before they wanted to. That was for later. For now there was a celebration.

“That’s cold!” She laughed as the Doctor applied jelly to her Belly.
Both of their eyes grew wide as the doctor placed the Doppler on to her stomach and they heard the strong beat of their baby’s heart.
“That’s it?” Buffy asked as tears started to fall.
“That’s it. That’s your baby.” The Doctor said as he watched Spike wipe away Buffy’s tears.
“You should be able to feel It kicking soon.” The Doctor said.
