Chapter 6
"It'll be fine," Buffy said as she kissed him.

Which is exactly what she was saying an hour later as they walked hand in hand to the Magic Box.
* Spike, calm down hunny, * Buffy's voice soothed in his head.
"Easy for you to bloody say," he grumbled stopping and looking at her.” Did you just call me hunny?"
"It’s going to be fine. Trust me. I won't let them do or say anything bad about you. How could I when I am carrying your child?" She said sweetly and smiled at him.
"Don't give me that look Slayer. Or I will take you here in the alleyway," he threatened.
"Is that a threat or a promise?"
"You wanna find out?"
She laughed and opened the door to the Magic Box.
"Hey guys," Buffy said when they all turned to look at her and Spike still holding hands.
"Um...hi Buffy. Spike," Willow said.
"Hi guys," Dawn said running over and hugging her sister.
"I knew it!" Dawn excitedly whispered in her sister's ear.
Spike looked at the two sisters with great interest.
* Knew what? *
Buffy looked at him.
Dawn had stepped back from Buffy and was watching her and Spike. Both of them stood staring at each other and then slowly they started to smile and ended up laughing.
Dawn, Willow, Xander, Anya and Tara were dumbfounded.
"Ok what the hell was that?" Xander said.
"I told you they were having sex," Anya said to Xander and then turned to Buffy.
"Does he give you many orgasms?"
"Anya!" Xander said even as Buffy turned red and Spike smiled.
"I am so going to ignore that question," Buffy said to Xander and then when he wasn't looking mouthed YES to Anya.
"Hey Red, Glinda," Spike said sitting down on the counter next to the cash register.
* Don't you dare bang your feet against that glass, * Buffy's stern voice sounded through his head as Spike started to swing his legs.
"Wouldn't dream of it," he said out loud looking at her.
"Wouldn't dream of what?" Willow asked.
"Huh? What?" Buffy said returning her gaze to the witch.
"Spike said he wouldn't dream of it and I asked what he was talking about."
"Oh...I don't know. Spike's a little crazy tonight," Buffy replied as Spike snorted.
"So what's up Buffy? Patrolling slow tonight?" Dawn asked.
"No, I......" Buffy started as Spike 'ahemed'.
"I mean WE need you guys to research something."
The 4 in the room looked between Buffy and Spike.
"Um.. ok. What do you need?" Willow said.
"Well........ ok there are two things. 1. for some reason Spike and I are able to communicate through our minds."
"Oh is that what that whole staring and smiling and laughing deal was about earlier?" Dawn asked.
Buffy nodded.
"Could be some demon you two fought. Or a spell," Tara said getting up to get some books.
"So evil dead is hearing voices in his head?" Xander taunted.
"Xander, he is not evil dead and he is only hearing my voice in his head," Buffy snapped.
"What’s the other thing Buffy?" Willow asked before Xander could say anything else.
Buffy turned and walked over to Spike. He looked down at her and put a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"Well it seems we are going to have a baby," was all Buffy got out before Xander passed out.
