Chapter 7

Chapter 6

Two days had passed since Xander had decided to stay on with the AI crew. In that time Spike had begun to get b etter and had fewer and fewer episodes. Everything was quiet until Doyle had his first vision in Xander's presence.

They were all stunned by what happened next. Doyle was writhing on the ground and holding his head. Xander leaned down to hold him and linked to the vision.

In the vision, Xaviers's school was being attacked, setting off events that led to the death of one of the teachers. He also saw people he knew among the dead.

Doyle lay still as the vision swept over him. He was stunned by the fact that there was no longer any pain. As the vision ended Xander stepped away from him and stumbled to the phone.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Remy, phone!" Rogue called to him as she walked into the room. Remy nodded politely to her, walked over to the nearest connection and let Jubilee know that he would take it there.

"Remy here," he said.

"Remy, it's Lexy. I need you to get everyone packed up and headed to LA. The school is going to be attacked in a few days," Xander told him, and Remy listened to what he was saying with growing horror. As he was preparing to call to the Professor, Xavier began to speak in his head.

//Remy, tell Xander that we will be there as soon as possible.//

Remy passed on the information, and had no idea that the Professor was calling Logan home sooner than planned. He needed to talk to the man before they reached LA.

Jean had been urging him to tell Logan the truth for a while. Now it was time for all of the truth to come out. He only hoped that the man would forgive him.

As he thought this his phone rang, and he began to make plans with Angel to store the plane and house his children. He had already begun to contact the other X-Men and get them moving.

Later he would contact his allies and the parents of the children and let the m know what was going on. Right now, though, he had to protect his children and get moved before anyone realized what was going on.

He had a feeling he knew who had betrayed them. The question was, why? He couldn't see Erik betraying his children to William.

tbc...

I know this chapter feels rushed, but thats because it was. Chapter 9 will have flashbacks to further explain this chapter. The one I had done orginaly disappeared and I can't find it anywhere. Hence this one. Sorry for the confusion.
