Angel spent an hour looking for Spike before he finally found him sitting in the moonlit garden surrounded by the sent of roses. "You will feel better if you tell someone about it." Angel said as he sat down on the stone bench next to Spike.
"Doubt it." Spike sighed.
"Did you and Franklin have an intimate relationship?" asked Angel hesitantly.
"Who?" asked Spike
"The Immortal." said Angel
"Is that what he's calling himself now?" snorted Spike.
"Did you have a relationship with him?" asked Angel again, trying not to feel jealous.
"Did I ever tell you about my father?" asked Spike.
"No, you never mentioned him." said Angel confused.
"I was ten when he died. Did my best to make him proud of me when I was a boy. And I tried to be the man of the house after he was gone. Took care of my Mom." said Spike.
"What has this to do with the Immortal? Did he kill your father?" asked Angel.
"No you silly git, he is my father! The bastared didn't die, he left us." Spike said.
"The Immortal is your father!" exclaimed a surprised Angel. "That asshole! He slept with Dru and Darla."
"Thanks for pointing that out Angel. Just one more thing to hate him for." stated Spike.
"I mean, he had to know who you were and he still slept with Dru! And Buffy!" Angel realized.
"Yes Angel, I am aware of just how little he gives a shit about me, but again thank you for pointing it out." said Spike sarcastically.
"Sorry." said Angel and held Spike's hand. "I wasn't trying to hurt you."
"I know." said Spike and for the first time actually believed it.
