Chapter 6

[Buffy's POV]

"Buffy where are we going?" Angel asked.

"I don’t know!" I snap back.

Cordelia gave an over exasperated sigh, "God Buffy get over it. So Xander doesn’t like that you're a lesbian now, so what?"

"I am NOT a lesbian."

"Right and you fuck Faith because she has such a large penis." She rolled her eyes.

"I am not fucking Faith!"

"Not yet."

"Just shut up Cordelia!" I turn around and glare at her to further my order.

Faith squeezed my hand a little, "B calm down."

"I am calm!"

"Look, you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to if you have a problem with the whole lesbian thing. We don’t need to have sex."

"Stop being so sweet! Of course I want to have sex with you!" I look at her in disbelief that she would even offer that. I mean, come on, its -Faith.-

"Lesbiaann…" Cordelia said in a sing song voice.

"Okay fine! I'm a big dyke now can we -please- go have lunch?!" I stop and turn to glare at all of them.

"Buffy you're not a dyke," Kennedy informed me.

"Then what the hell am I? Wait hold on, let me see if I care… oh hey look! I DON’T."

Kennedy ignored me, "You’re a lesbian."

"Since -when- was there a difference?"

"Since dykes are lesbians who dress and act manly," Kennedy said.

"Why would you want to go out with a chick who looks like a man?" Faith made a face.

Kennedy shrugged, "I don’t know, kind of defeats the whole point of being a lesbian if you ask me."

"You see Buffy, you're the good type of lesbians. You're a girl that likes girls that look like girls too!" Willow said smiling.

"How do we know she's dropped men completely? She could just be bisexual," Cordelia stated. She then turned to me, "Do you still like to suck dick?"

"Excuse me?! I think that’s none of your business -Queen C-!"

"She's a lesbian." She said simply.

"Okay when the hell did this turn into a conversation about my sexuality? I was pissed about Xander, not about being gay!"

"See, told ya, she's a lesbian," Cordelia said again.

"My god Cordy will you -shut up-?!"

Faith started laughing a little but tried to hide it. I turn to her, "What??"

She put a hand over her mouth to stop laughing, "Sorry B."

"No, tell me what is -so- funny."

"Nothing, I just find it kinda cute how you're so flustered because we keep bringing up that you're gay." She gave me a lopsided grin.

"Well you're gay too!" I shoot back lamely.

"Yeah B, I know. Known for a long time now. But I do like some men every now and then."

"Oh so what? When your done with me your gonna go finme -me -man?-?" I cross my arms in front of my chest.

"Buffy you know I didn’t mean it that way, stop trying to create drama."

"I am not trying to create drama, Faith! Jesus Christ! I just don’t want to get dumped for a man, its--" She cut me off by kissing me. I touched her face and reciprocated, feeling like I'm melting into her.

We broke apart and she said, "Shut up now, okay? Everything's good."

"Yeah, okay. Lunch now," I say a little dazed from the kiss. She smiled and took my hand and we all went off to lunch.

[Faith's POV]

After lunch we came back to the hotel and sat down around a table to decide where everyone was going to go. It took Xander some persuading on Willows part to make him sit with us, but in the end everything was around the table.

"So there are two hellmouths in the United States left; one in Cleveland and one in Boston. Now I'm not saying everyone has to go to these places. If you choose we can lead a normal life," Giles said to the group.

"Well me and Faith already decided on Boston, who wants to come with?" Buffy asked as she sat on my lap and linked out fingers.

"I'm in," Kennedy said.

"Well I'm with her so me too," Willow added.

"I go where Buffy goes," Dawn said and rolled her eyes.

"I was actually thinking about going back to England to start a new Watchers Council," Giles said. "Andrew, would you like to come with me? I think you would make an excellent watcher with your knowledge of demons and demon languages."

Andrew perked up, "Really? Sure!"

"I think I'm gonna try and live out a normal life," Wood said.

Everyone looked at Xander and he looked at Giles, "Do you need another watcher?"

"Yes Xander, that'd be excellent if you came along as well."

Willow looked sad and was about to say something until Kennedy nudged her and mouthed, "Not now."

"So what do we do about the girls?" I ask.

"Take them with us? Well, we'll see which ones want to come but yeah we can train them and stuff," Buffy said.

"Sounds cool," I say and squeeze her hand a little.

"Alright then, we'll tell Angel our plan, he'll probably be able to hook us up. Tomorrow we'll talk to the girls," Buffy said and stood up.

I stood up and said to Buffy, "I'm gonna go take a shower, okay? l bel be back down later."

"Okay baby," she smiled.

"What? Not going to join your lover?" Xander spat out.

I just ignored him and walked back upstairs, deciding everyone else can deal with him because I'm sick of it.
