Pain… And dirt.
William shakes his head, trying to clear it. What has happened? Where is he?
It’s dark. He reaches out. There is wood above him. Panicking, he realizes that he is surrounded. Dirt falls in through the cracks and he gasps for breath, coughing as his lungs drag in dust.
He’s been buried! He hears a strange noise and suddenly he can see. His fingers look different as he claws at the wood, breaking through, digging through dirt and finally reaching clean, pure air.
As his head clears the grave, he hears an angel’s voice. “Hello, my prince.”
