She barely stayed awake as the cold fluid slid down her throat, forcing her to burn from the inside. She held tight to his wrist as she took greedy gulps. A burning sensation spread throughout her body, starting from her feet up to her head. A strange warmth squeezed her brain tightly, eventually she was ready for the transformation to take place. The demon was ready to make itself known to the world. It was buzzing with anticipation.
