Accidentally In Love

After their little talk and make out session on the couch Buffy and Willow made their way to Willow’s room, hand in hand where they snuggled under the blankets before falling asleep again with Willow wrapped up in Buffy’s arms.
Buffy awoke two hours before dawn. She had to get home before her brother or mother noticed she was missing so she quickly got out of bed and dressed in her clothes. She was unsure whether to wake Willow or not but that decision was taken out of her hands when the ginger girl woke up on her own.
“Your going?” She asked sadly.
“I gotta. My mom will kill me if she finds im gone.” Buffy whispered kneeling down next to the bed so she was eye level with Willow.
“Hmm okay…well can I see you today?” She asked hopefully.
“Sure you can but you do know you promised Xander and Jesse we’d go to the beach with them.” Buffy laughed when she saw the annoyed look on Willow’s face.
“Damn. I forgot about that. I wanted to spend time alone with you.” Willow sighed. Buffy smiled at her words and leant in to kiss her.
“Don’t worry. We have the car ride up there and back and I can sneak out again tomorrow.” Buffy grinned.
“Oh okay.” Willow smiled.
“I’ll see you later.” Buffy said giving Willow one last kiss before leaving the room, leaving a grinning Willow behind.

“We are such lucky bastards.” Xander grinned looking around the beach.
“How’s that?” Buffy asked curiously.
“Well not you and Willow. Me and Jesse. We have the two prettiest girls with us and look at everyone staring.” He beamed looking around at everyone who was casting him dirty glances.
Buffy laughed loudly and Willow chuckled too when Xander flexed his muscles before following Jesse into the sea.
“This isn’t too bad. I’d rather be on a sofa with you but its fun right?” Buffy smiled discretely taking a hold of Willow’s hand.
“Yeah…and besides. I got enough smoochies in the car.” Willow smiled slyly. While driving here Buffy had pulled over three times just to lock lips with her and the guys had bought their story that the traffic was bad and that’s why they were late meeting them. Chumps.
Buffy had almost fainted when she saw the bikini Willow was wearing. It showed off all her curves that she usually hid perfectly and she had been itching to kiss her since getting here but there was no way of doing it without someone spotting them so Buffy just settled for holding her hand. She was about to ask Willow to come to dinner at her house tonight when a shadow fell over them and Buffy looked up her jaw dropping when she saw who it was.

“Hey B.”

“Faith!” Buffy gasped, her eyes bugging out.
Willow looked up at the sexy looking brunette and felt a stab of jealousy. This was Faith Buffy’s ex girlfriend? She’s so pretty. She looks experienced too. Oh god.
“I cant believe you’re here!” Buffy smiled standing up and brushing the sand off her before hugging Faith. Just at that moment Xander and Jesse decided to come back and they stared in awe at the sight of the two beauties, one light one dark hugging in their bikinis.
“Okay and when did the lesbian action start?” Jesse whistled.
Faith broke away and glared at Jesse but Buffy put a hand on her arm to stop her saying anything.
“Don’t worry Faith this is my friend Jesse. He’s just messing.” Buffy assured her, smiling at her friends.
“Guys this is Faith. Faith this is Xander, Jesse and Willow.” Buffy said introducing them all.
“Well hello all…gotta say B…your filling that bikini out nicely.” Faith purred eyeing the blondes chest. Buffy rolled her eyes at the brunette but didn’t tell her to stop. She liked the jealous look in Willow’s eyes.
“Uh… thanks. Not to bad yourself.” Buffy smirked.
“Don’t I know it. Right well I best be off. See ya again B.” Faith grinned kissing the girl quickly on the forehead before running off.
Xander and Jesse gawked as if that was the hottest thing in the world while Willow fumed angrily.

“Will…Oh come on Willow. You got to speak to me sometime.” Buffy sighed glancing at the red head next to her. She didn’t answer however and Buffy huffed, turning down a side road and stopping the car.
“Come on Willow, talk to me.” Buffy sighed.
“I have nothing to say. You wanna talk why don’t you go chat with Faith some more.” She said snidely.
“Oh come on Willow! What was I gunna do ignore her!” Buffy cried.
“You didn’t have to flirt with her!” She snapped.
“I wasn’t flirting! that’s just Faith! The only thing the girl understands is sex! Come on Will…I like you remember. I don’t want her I want you.” Buffy whispered in her ear moving forward and kissing her ear. Willow’s eyes fluttered shut at the gentle kiss and sighed when Buffy twisted so their lips met. Willow pulled back again however and glared at Buffy.
“No way. Kissing me aint going to calm me down.”
“Well what will!” Buffy grumbled.

“Nothing im not mad anyway…just annoyed that you say you like me kiss me and then practically dry hump your ex in front of me.” Willow said staring out of the window.
“Oh come on!…look Faith is just that. An ex. We didn’t even have much of a relationship when we were dating! You’re my girlfriend now. I haven’t even thought of Faith since moving to Sunnydale.”
Willow turned to look at Buffy after she had finished speaking and Buffy tensed when she saw the little smile on Willow’s lips. She had just been frowning and in one hell of a mood and now she was smiling? What the hell.
“Im your girlfriend?” Willow asked her voice strangely quiet.
“Well…yeah.. I mean to me you are.” Buffy said unsurely. She didn’t know whether Willow was upset or pleased by what Buffy had called her so she looked at her hoping for a good reaction.
The kiss Willow gave her was a good enough reaction for her and she smiled when she pulled away.
“So im forgiven?” Buffy asked with a smile.
“Yep. You’re the first person to ever call me their girlfriend.” Willow smiled shyly.
“Hmm good. I like being first.” Buffy grinned before pulling the car back into gear.

“So Willow…looking forward to Christmas?” Joyce smiled looking at Willow over the bowl of potatoes.
“Willow’s Jewish mom.”
“Oh okay Hanukah then.” Joyce amended.
“Yeah it should be okay. My parents will probably spend it cursing Santa but it’s the same every year.” Willow smiled earning a chuckle from everyone.
“So where are your parents then?” Angel asked.
“They went to San Francisco for some medical convention thing. They’ll be back tomorrow night.” Willow sighed flicking at her peas.
“Well if you want your welcome to stay here.” Joyce offered. Angel had been annoyed by Buffy almost being allowed to sleep out but he couldn’t complain about them both being here.
“Really?” She asked trying to keep the excitement out of her voice. She glanced at an equally happily looking Buffy before nodding.
“Yeah I will. Thanks.” She smiled going back to eating her peas when Angel gave them both a knowing look.

“Buffy! Can you come down here for a second!” Joyce shouted up the stairs. Buffy sighed, dropping the little foot of Willow’s she had been painting the toe nails of and ran down stairs and into the kitchen where her mom was sitting drinking her usual hot chocolate before bed.
“What’s up mom?” Buffy asked peeking past the door.
“Nothing…I just wanted to remind you that I sleep just down the hall.”
Buffy’s face scrunched up at her mothers statement before her eyes widened and she gaped at her like a fish out of water.
“Mom!”

“Im not stupid Buffy. You give Willow the same look you gave all your other girlfriends and as much as I try to stay blissfully ignorant I am well aware that your…sexually active.” Joyce seemed to choke over the last bit and Buffy blushed bright red and banged her head against the wall in embarrassment.
“Mom..”
“Im serious Buffy. I trust you because for one…i’ve never had a problem with your choices…except for Faith. She was a tad...inappropriate. I know this isn’t just a faze for you and your not going to go back to boys. You’ve been nothing but honest and its not like you can get her pregnant but im still advising you…I am right down the hall.”
And with that Joyce stood up and left the room with a smirk on her face. That was the first time she had ever made Buffy speechless.

“Hmm…this feels nice.” Willow sighed snuggling deeper into Buffy’s neck.
“Couldn’t agree more sweetie.” Buffy smiled kissing her hair.
“You just called me sweetie!” Willow giggled.
“Did not.”
“Did to.”
“Did not.”
In the end Willow had to tickle her too defeat.

“I know what’s going on.”
Buffy and Willow jumped apart and looked up at Cordelia with scared eyes. They had only been sitting there talking together. They weren’t even holding hands. How would she know something was going on.
“You…your trying to make a mockery out of me.” Cordelia snapped.
Will and Buffy both breathed a sigh of relief that this wasn’t about them and Buffy smiled up at the Queen C.
“And how am I making a mockery out of you?” Buffy asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Because.”

“Because? That’s an answer?” Buffy chuckled.
“You…Lesbian.” Cordelia growled.
“Is that supposed to be an insult? When you state fact its not an insult sweetie. Its like me calling you a bitch. You are one so its not an insult.” Buffy smiled sweetly.
Cordelia looked outraged for a moment before she spotted Devon making his way down the hallway.
“Devon! She just called me a bitch!” She whined to her boyfriend of the week. Devon blinked at her a few times before turning to glance at Buffy.

“Hey Buff.”
“Hey Dev.” Buffy smiled when she saw the shocked look on Cordelia’s face.
“Devon! Aren’t you going to teach this bitch a lesson?” Cordelia cried.
“Buffy? Nah she’s pretty cool. She has the same love of Jessica Alba as I do.” Devon grinned punching Buffy lightly in the arm.
“Your kidding? You bonded over girls you both like! Don’t you realise how wrong that is! She’s a girl!” Cordelia yelled.

“So…21st century Cord…Jesus its not like she’s the only one in the world! You made out with Harmony one time too so what a hypocrite you are!”
As soon as Devon said it Buffy’s eyes widened and a huge grin split her face as everyone around went silent at Devon’s comment.
“Well Cordelia…here you are judging me and you got your own bit of girl on girl action!” Buffy snorted while everyone else laughed with her. Cordelia however just turned bright red and ran for the girls toilets leaving behind an amused Buffy and Willow.
“Well I guess im dumped.” Devon sighed, shaking his head before heading off to class.
“That was so hilarious! Harmony and Cordelia ha” Willow laughed unable to fight the tears falling.
“Looks like im not the only one who practised on my friends.” Buffy laughed.
“Just one thing…”
“What?”
“You love Jessica Alba?” Willow said with a mock look of hurt on her face.
“Not as much as I love you baby.” Buffy responded seriously. She brushed her hand over Willow’s before taking off in another direction leaving Willow standing there with a soppy grin on her face.

“And the buffster claims another victim huh?”
Willow spun around and stared up at Angel in surprise.
“Huh?”
“Don’t feel bad about it. Buffy seems to have that appeal where everyone just flocks to her. Everyone knows she’s into girls and still she has like twenty guys in love with her.” Angel laughed.
“Its hard not to fall in love with her.” He finished.
“I…you…” Willow stammered.
“Don’t worry. Im not saying a word.” Angel swore, giving Willow a warm smile before going to class.
