Chapter 5

I closed the door behind me and got undressed, I was just climbing into the bed stark naked as is customary with me, preparing to fight off the urge to wank off to the image of yet another Slayer, when there was a knock on my door. I growled in frustration as the knocking persisted.

“I’m coming! Bloody hell, hold on.” I yelled as I yanked on my jeans again, zipping them up but not buttoning them. “What do you-” I started when a fist flew into my face sending me reeling backwards. I looked and saw the Slayer glaring at me in her shorts and tank top.

“Told ya it would come to me.” She said with a smirk, and… was that a slight blush.

“You bloody bint what the hell is your problem? What came to you? The urge to hit me?” I growled as I ran at her. She dodged me by stepping into my bedroom, so I closed the door to keep her from escaping. “Well, you want to fight again hand to hand, I’m game.”

I attacked and she parried perfectly, we exchanged blow for blow, pretty soon we were wrestling on the floor, one trying to pin the other. I had just gotten the advantage and I held her down by her shoulders and hips as I straddled her to keep her still.

“Now why the bloody hell did you attack me for no reason Slayer? Did you want to have your ass kicked before getting some shut eye?” I asked.

“I remembered who ya were.” She grunted as she struggled against me.

“Really now pet? And who am I then?”

She glared at me. “Ya’re the one who came with that pompous ass from L.A. and kidnapped me from my home three years ago.” And I saw a tear form in her eyes. My face softened.

“Ellie then I presume?” I asked softly, remembering very well the Potential we had taken from Kentucky.

She growled angrily and flipped me over her head, landing on top of me. Wow, she had grown up quite a lot since I had left her here. “It’s all yer fault I am all alone here.” She shifted uncomfortably on top of my still raging hard on, the fighting with her had only increased my desire, she finally settled on top of it; she didn’t seem to realize what it was exactly. She had her hands hold me down on my chest.

“You mean your horse died?” I asked, sad that I had gone through the effort only to have the bloody beast die on her.

She paused. “No, Gus is still here….”

“Well then it’s not my fault you’re all alone here pet, because I brought your horse all the way from Kentucky to Ohio when Angel wanted nothing more than to leave it to fend for itself in the wilds of your home state; so if anything it’s my fault that you even have something to remind you of home.” She looked at me, and then realizing I was naked from the waist up she blushed slightly. She’s so innocent it’s intoxicating.

I looked at her, reaching up to tuck a lock of her hair behind her ear. “You’ve grown up a fair amount since that day. I’ll never forget how you broke my nose and gave Peaches and I such trouble to get you.” I laughed softly. “I remember how impressed I was with the fire inside you, and the language you used at such a young age.” She blushed deeper, and attempted to get up, but I held her in place. “Please don’t hate me for what we did; we were only doing our job.” I implored.

“I don’t hate ya at all.” She said exasperatedly. Her skin was flushed and her heat between my legs did things it shouldn’t have. She noticed and shifted uncomfortably, trying to find a spot that wasn’t awkward; it only made things worse for me.

“Pet, you need to stop.” I said, trying to keep my voice even. I released her arm. “Go on, there’s only so much a male can take before he stops being a gentleman.” She looked at me puzzled for a minute, before reality dawned on her. She scrambled off hastily and made a beeline for the door while I stood up in excruciating pain. She paused at the doorway, then turned around and came back towards me, stopping inches from me. I looked down into her upturned face. She warily reached out a hand and touched my face, her feminine hand felt like it was igniting my skin on fire. She tenderly but effectively pulled my face towards her and gave me a chaste kiss on the lips; it lasted only seconds and then she was gone, closing the door behind her, but not before she whispered to me:

“That was for giving me Gus.”

I immediately removed my jeans and ministered to my painful erection, the image of the strong, aggressive and yet so innocent brunette Slayer emblazoned on the back of my eyelids. My lips still tingled from where her heated ones had been pressed against my chilled ones, and my body still sung from the interaction between us. I haven’t felt this way about anyone since… and then the name and face that had haunted me for years flashed across my mind. …Buffy. I felt guilty that I had reacted to Ellie the way I had, and I tried to think about Buffy, but every time I did, the blonde hair turned into light brown, fierce green eyes became piercing grey ones, and the perfectly golden-tanned skin of Buffy became the natural sun-kissed and freckled olive skin of Ellie. I sighed. Another Slayer mate… what did I ever do the Powers That Be to deserve this hell on earth?
