"Ok Spike, what happened?" demanded Angel as he slammed their bedroom door.
"Not your business is it?" said Spike.
"Why won't you tell me?" Angel wanted to know.
"It doesn't concern you or Buffy. It is between him and me. Now back off." Spike demanded as he left the room.
Knock. Knock.
"Yes, who is it?" yelled a frustrated Angel.
"It's me Willow. Can I come in?"
"Yes, of course." said Angel.
"Is Spike Ok? He seemed upset." Willow said stating the obvious.
"Do you know what is going on Willow?" asked Angel.
"I am sorry, I thought this was about Buffy." said Willow.
"You know not everything is about Buffy! This has nothing to do with Buffy!" Angel said pissed.
"Sorry, sorry." said Willow raising her hands in surrender.
"Spike and the Immortal recognized each other. But Spike obviously didn't know who he was at the time they met or he would have mentioned it to me earlier." explained Angel.
"So you think Franklin lied to Spike about who he was. And then tonight when Spike realized who he really was, he was hurt." offered Willow.
"Who's Franklin?" asked a bewildered Angel.
"The Immortal." said Willow.
"His first name is Franklin? ... Never mind, why do you think the truth hurt Spike?" asked a concerned Angel.
"Well, would you run out of a room full of people like that, if you weren't hurt?" reasoned Willow.
"Do you think they had a relationship?" asked Angel.
"Don't worry Angel, I am sure Spike still loves you." reassured Willow.
"I know." Angel lied. He didn't want to sound insecure about their nonexistent relationship, even to himself.
