Visionary Kiss III 5

Visionary Kiss III Part 5

INT. TREASURE CHAMBER TEMPLE, THE CITY OF THE DEAD, - DAY

Again there was a crunching, rumbling noise making O'Connell look mistrustfully at his wife, "What the hell is that?"

She wrinkled the forehead, "No human .."

Rick closed his eyes listening, "Stone crunching against stone. Is it an earthquake?"

"If it is, the ruins will collapse! And Alex is up there!"

He grabbed the golden plate and the box and pushing both into his bag - fitting exactly - buckled it up and shouted to his wife, "Fast, we have to get out of here, we need to reach Alex."

Evey could only nod as he grabbed her hand. Rick looked into her eyes, telling her that everything would be fine. And it would be she knew that, he had always made it so.

Then the couple started to run, as if the devil himself was after them, only to learn seconds later that the devil in this special case was a wet hunter, the wall caving in behind them, under the pressure of a geyser.

INT. TEMPLE RUINS, THE CITY OF THE DEAD, - DAY

Not aware of what was happening not too far away, Alex aimed, and his pebble hit Spivey right on the back of the head. An excellent shot!

"Damn!" The man dove around, his hand pressed against his head. "Something hit me!"

Jacques suspicious looked up and stopped ruing ing through the artifacts. "What hit you, Dimwit?"

"I have no idea, maybe a stone?" The man answered, rubbing his head and then looking at his fingers. "Shit, I'm bleeding!"

The French man shrugged his shoulders and went back to his search. From the first moment he had not liked this job, not that he had a problem with killing, he just had the feeling that this time he had got involved in something that none of them would survive.

"Stop wailing and go back to work, we need to find the Bracelet."

Spivey sighed, gave a couple of obscene curses, crouched down once more to continue searching. As he looked down at his fingers covered with his blood mixed with dust that had accumulated here for millennia, a cold shudder ran down his spine.

Alex had reloaded his weapon and was now aiming at the bony bottom of the skinny guy. This was simply a perfect target.

"Ouch!" jumping up and down Spivey called, rubbing his butt. "Damn ! Damn ! This hurts!"

Alex laughed silently to himself. Jacques laughed aloud, but then his eyes became cold and hard, they became the eyes of the killer he was, searching the surroundings.

"Go on." The older man told Spi He He willingly obeyed Jacques words, even if he now and then looked over his shoulder.

Alex only waited two minutes before letting the next stone fly. This time Jacques, who had appeared to be working turned around fast and caught the stone, a centimeter in front of the face of his partner. All this happened so fast that Alex was not able to foresee or stop it from happening.

In the young boys' head the alarm bells shrilled.

How could this man move so fast?

Alex ducked for cover, suspecting, however, that it was already to late and the man down below had already discovered him. Trembling, the boy paused in a crouching position and hoped that he was mistaken, that the man hadn't seen him.

As always he realised that it would have been better to listen to the adults, and as always this knowledge was late, maybe too late.

No longer able to see the two men, Alex could not see the confused look on Spivey's face as he looked to, Jacques who opened his hand, laying bare a little sharp edged stone.

"What the hell ..?" Spivey asked.

"A little Mouse," replied Jacques, the hand clenched into a fist and pressed.

When the stout Frenchman opened his hand again, only dust could be seen. He wiped the crushed stone off on his dirty shirt and stood.

Just as Alex dared to take a look over the edge of the scaffolding, the man pulled his scimitar from the sheath, "I will take care of the rodent."

Alex retreated with the wide eyes of a frightened mouse - however this one didn't have a hole in which it could hide.

INT. TEMPLE CATACOMBS, THE CITY OF THE DEAD, - DAY

Unsuspecting of what was happening above, the brutal Red, sword in the one hand, pistol in the other, investigated the catacombs. He was a researcher who was however, not looking for art treasures, but victims, more precisely the parents of the boy.

He had no idea of the history of his surroundings as he moved from chamber to chamber, not that he would be interested.

So it was no wonder that he had no idea that just at that moment he was walking over the sacred and valuable corrie Indian ink that once had been property of the princess.

Deep in the shadows a person, hovering on the edge of this reality, her body almost transparent knew all this. But not only did Willow recognize the room, she also knew that the man who wanted to kill her friends was in deep trouble.

He had triggered one of the legendary Egyptian traps without noticing it, a trap that had already cost many researchers their lives, people far better informed than him.

The only warning was a soft, terrible creaking, that at first almost sounded human, however, with increasing volume the unpleasant squeaking of rock rubbing against rock.

Solid rock on solid rock...

As the chamber started to shake, Willow had the feeling that the room wanted to get rid of the disgusting man, feeling sickened by his presence.

The witch could do nothing as Red, his panic, increasing as the tunnel began to rumble like an unleashed brute, turned and ran off like the devil.

Willow was convinced for it was his first intelligent action, but as soon as he had run past her he did something really stupid.

While he rested by the chamber he stepped on the corrie Indian ink of the princess again. Knowing that the Gods would not be lenient on this point, Willow could only shake her head and listen as the Catacombs started to scream with anger.

Just in time he made it out of the chamber, unable to see what happened inside. A wall collapsed and thundering water poured out of an opening that enlarged with each passing second.

"That's one taken care of and without effort." Willow snickered, as she walked through the flood and the remains of the wall.

She needed to find her friends, and from the sounds of it she had to find them fast.
