It really was a hopeless battle.............
The scoobies had made it clear that they didn't need or "want" his help and that was just fine with him as long as they stick to their promise and try not to screw up his perfectly executed plans. He'll stay out of their way as long as they stay out of his. He's just tired of this group not listening to reason. They had a leader, they had a plan, but bloody well blew it!
It's slowly gaining advantage over them. The first and her crooked schemes.
They've become accustomed to defeat, it's how evil wins. Through little things such as fragility. The Scoobies cannot keep thinking they're the only champions. They cannot accept his help, but they could use it.
Mortals only think of themselves and that's why they get eaten. Makes them rather tasty.............
This is why they should master fear and face their own............
