His voice was soft and calm and a part of her craved for peace. She didn't want this. She didn't need to be the slayer to define who she was. She was happy as who she was.
She wanted to hear more of what he was promising her.
The idea was to lure her into the darkness with him and then turn her.

Her name is Margaret Hemmingsworth, a slayer in the late 1800s and early 1900s. There was no evidence that she was turned, but a journal by her own watcher kept that theory alive. It still burns into her memory, the things she had to witness at the feat of Paulo. Perhaps one of the most revered vampires at that time.
