Hell holes at the Hellmouth
Chapter 4
“Um… this isn’t the way to my house,” observed Xander as he was dragged by the blond vampire.
“Yeah your right, its not. Won’t be going back there.”
“You mean you won’t be going back there or we won’t be going back there?”
“Like I would let you go back with out me pet. Your mine and the sooner you realize that the happier we’ll be.”
“Yeah, yeah, and as soon as this spell is over you’ll be back to wanting to kill me, but that still doesn’t explain why I can’t go back home.”
Spike stopped and gave Xander an exasperated look, “Aint gonna happen, even if they find a way to cancel out the mojo Red did, my demon won’t go back to seeing ya as food. It likes the thought of a mate and now that it has a focus it aint gonna give ya up.” Spike started growling, “Your Mine now!”
“O…Okay, calm down, you can stop with the grr. I get it, so you just put those fangs away.” Xander said backing up.
“I really don’t think you do, but you will. And as for your question we aren’t going to that hell hole you call home because no mate of mine will be living in a place like that.”
“Just so you know that hell hole, hey a hell hole at the hellmouth hehe, is the only place I can afford, there for I have to live there, not like I enjoy staying in the basement of my parents house. And I am so not living in a crypt so we should head back there besides my clothes and things are there.”
Xander began walking in the direction of his house when arms wrapped around his waist holding him in place, “Reminding me where your horrendous clothes are isn’t helping your case. Besides I wouldn’t let you live in a crypt, humans are too fragile and a crypt is drafty and damp. You’d get sick.”
“My clothes are fine, just because I like a little color doesn’t give you the right to mock my clothes, Mr. Dark clothes wearer.” Xander pouted.
Spike smirked, “You keep that lip like that much longer, I’ll have to bite it.”
That got Xander to stop pouting quickly. “Just tell me where we are going.”
“For now, we are heading to the Hotel down by First street. It’s run by a N’gale demon who owes me some money. Figured I would consider the loan void if he would put us up for a while. Then I will be heading to a friend of mine to talk about finding us a place.”
“Oh and you just expect me to stay in a hotel room and do what, twiddle my thumbs?”
“Actually I thought you might sleep, isn’t it getting close to the time good little boys and girls do that sorta thing.”
“Ha, like I want to sleep now.”
Spike leered, “Well if ya don’t want to sleep, I can think of a few things we could do on that bed instead.”
Xander’s eyes widened, “Sleep is good! Very good! You can never get too much sleep. Yawn, see I am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open.”
“Well can’t have that, you might hurt yourself if your that tired, I’ll just have to carry you the rest of the way.”
“No Spike-,” Spike ignore his protest and easily scooped him up.
Xander blushed bright red but no amount of protest or pleas got Spike to put him down. He didn’t even put him down when he talked to the rather normal looking, if you ignored the third eye, N’gale demon about the room. It was only when they arrive in a rather nice suite that Xander was put down on to a bed.
“Well pet, you make yourself all comfy like and I will be back in a bit. There is a T.V. in the dresser if you would rather watch that instead of sleeping,” Here Spike smirked, “if ya wait up then we can have some real fun. Oh and don’t try leaving, I had Teral put some mojo on the door. The only one who will be coming or going will be me, so your safe as horses, and I don’t have ta worry ‘bout tracking ya down when I get back.”
Spike bent down and placed a kiss on Xander’s lips before heading out the door. Xander waited a few minutes before trying the door, Spike was right, he couldn’t leave. It was like the opposite of a vamp needing an invite and Xander didn’t like it. Sighing he got comfortable on the bed and got ready to watch some late night tv and the second that Spike got back he was so going to give him a piece oh his mind.

Oh new question: was Wesley around when they brought back Fred? (Shes one of my fav charaters of Angle)

Moonkat-I was thinking about haveing either Angle or Anya explain things but for some reason Spike kept poping up in my head when I was writing that chapter. He's hard to ignore and I liked the whole him watching Xander pace waiting for the right moment to pounce. It reminded me of my cat when he's watching my hand move when I have a treat for him.
Alexy-I love it too, thats why I had to write it. Hope you like the chapter and thanks for the review.
